Sam and Nilu are great hosts and they were attentive to us and provided us with everything we've asked. He was always around for us to ask any questions about any tips. They have gone beyond and done everything to give us a good experience for our little holiday. I can't highly recommend them enough.

I was lucky enough to spend 2 weeks at this hotel. I summarize: - an amazing sea view room + pool ( it seems to me that their whole room has this view) - a very decent service with a staff who make sure everything goes smoothly for you - very good food even if I found it a little expensive - nickel bedroom with everything you need and a renovated bathroom and rather classy. I think this hotel deserves 3 hotels with a little outdoor renovation but they have the essentials, namely the setting, a well-maintained and pleasant garden, a clean pool, the sound of the waves when you fall asleep is just magical...you don't get tired of it. A hotel with a lot of potential. I hope to be able to come back to this hotel one day if I get a chance. Thanks to all the staff in the sanmali for these magical 2 weeks!

beautiful resort , a friendly and a warm host Mr Venu .. being a solo traveller vacationing , Mr Venu and his team ensured I was taken care of well even in terms of my safety .. the service is impeccable and the view from the lagoon is amazing.. I will recommend this place to everyone travelling to kalpitiya.. the location n accessibility is also very good 😊..

We spent three really wonderful days at the start of our Sri Lanka tour in the Elements resort with Silvie and Marcel. We were warmly welcomed, the team was friendly and helpful, the facility was extremely tasteful, with a lot of love in every detail... And right by the sea... Simply fantastic... We would also have given 6 stars

We really loved it here and stayed longer than expected. beautiful extraordinary sunset views and large maintained gardens with palm trees loads of shade wooden loungers wonderful large clean swimming pool. A 20 minute walk into the nearest town or 5 minute tuktuk.. market stalls nearby. altogether a great finish to our winter sun trip. thank you.

Hidden on the Kalpitaya peninsula, you will find a real gem: an exclusive stay where peace and luxury merge. Upon arrival, a refreshing welcome drink beckons, followed by a spacious, inviting room with large windows, terrace, large bed and a bathtub. Every night, the passionate chef shows his craftsmanship with tasteful, local food that remains surprisingly pure. The fun refreshing swimming pool with slide and the winding path to the beach enhance the feeling of discovery. Despite a dirt access road and the lack of a minibar(fridge), this place remains a find for those who want to dream away. A shoutout for the staff and many thanks for everything!

A very special and lovely property that is very unique and memorable. We stayed 3 nights, visited Wilpattu, and enjoyed the lovely service. The only drawback is the incessant mosquitoes. We were paranoid about closing doors and using sprays and mats but they were everywhere and hard to avoid. Would advise the host to fumigate frequently and replace the bed nets. One AC needs to be fixed/replaced. Other than that, a wonderful stay!

The accommodation was really fantastically well arranged. All staff are super friendly and want to help you with everything. I thought I was their only guest, so much attention I got. Beach is close, beautiful place for a first rank sunset. The food is fresh and well prepared. Plenty of room to do whatever you like. Recommended to everyone.

A little piece of heaven . The place is very nice , a beautiful team, a good chef . A gorgeous pool. A successful Boat trip where we saw hundreds of Dolphins . An owner very concerned about the quality of the stay , attentive . All this in an idyllic setting , steps from the ocean . The rooms are very comfortable . What a pleasure to meet and find places that leave memories full of heads . Without hesitation a destination worth a visit! Thanks to you Martin , and to the whole team!

We had a truly superb stay, what an absolute gem of a place. The setting is magical, overlooking the lagoon, and every detail in the rooms and shared spaces is beautifully thought through and very well maintained. You can really feel the care that’s gone into it. The staff made the experience extra special: incredibly friendly, warm, and always ready to help with anything we needed. We especially looked forward to every meal, each one delicious, thanks to a fantastic cook who clearly puts heart into the food. Perfect spot to relax, swim, and disconnect from the busyness of daily life. We left feeling rested, recharged, and would love to come back sometime.
