Get that touch of British history while relaxing in this bright and spacious apartment. Play a few tunes on the piano or take a break on the welcoming sofa. Then cook something delicious and invite a few people over for a traditional English meal or relax in the garden with a coffee The apartment sleeps 4 people in two double bedrooms. The main bedroom is a lovely and bright twin aspect room with a super kingsize double bed. The other bedroom has a single bed with a pull out single bed to sit alongside. This bedroom can be perfectly adapted for children if required. Both rooms have plenty of storage. All linen for beds is provided. The family bathroom has a bath with over bath shower mixer. Luxury towels are provided. The living area has plenty of comfortable seating a flat screen TV, DVD player, CD music system and a dining table and chairs to seat 6 people. The kitchen area is well stocked with everything you could need including microwave, washing machine and dryer, stove-top hob and double oven. The apartment is very well laid out and set over the first floor it has its own private entrance and free parking within the private gated grounds of the main house. The annex is modernly equipped with WiFi and TV with Sky Cable Television & DVD player. Wifi is available free of charge if you bring your laptop. Bowling Green House has an interesting history and William Pitt a former British Prime Minister lived in the house and died there in 1806. The current art deco house was built on the site of the original building in 1933. Bowling Green House is in a great location in Zone 2, just 5 minutes from the bus routes to central London, Wimbledon Village or Putney where the train or the tube will whisk you into central London in 15 minutes. It is not only ideally located for Wimbledon tennis and the shops and boutiques, bars and restaurants of Putney and Wimbledon but also provides an ideal location to walk, run or explore the surrounding green areas of Wimbledon Common and Royal Richmond Park where the many activities include cycling, running and horse riding. Alternatively you can travel by river taxi going East to the Houses of Parliament & Tower Bridge or West to Hampton Court Palace. If you have a car or you wish to rent a car there is free parking and Bowling Green House provides easy access to the A3 and M25 and of course central London. On site you will receive a welcome pack with our tips on where to go to eat and drink, transportation links, and local gems. Experience a place of calm and tranquillity surrounded by Wimbledon Common, with the benefit of being only minutes away from busy and stylish Putney and Wimbledon. Every amenity is close by, and central London is only a quick train or tube ride away. Sunny garden flat in Wimbledon

WELCOME The apartment is bright and sunny, with a lovely garden. The décor is neutral, all the walls are painted white to add to the tranquillity of the space. We live in a quiet area, surrounded by large family homes and trees. You may come here to experience a different part of London, a side of tranquillity many British for. You can dip your toe in upscale British suburbia and experience an oasis of countryside within one of the biggest city's of the world. We live above the flat and welcome any questions or concerns you may have during your stay. We enjoy good food, art and architecture among many other things, and can recommend some fantastic sites to see during your stay in London and in this home. LOCATION We are located in Wimbledon, a slightly suburban part of London, It is a perfect location to retire to after a long day of sightseeing, with its peaceful, country like atmosphere, nevertheless at a hop from the heart of London. 2 minutes walk to Wimbledon Common 6 minutes walk to Wimbledon Tennis Club 10 minutes walk to Wimbledon Village 17 minutes walk to Wimbledon Station with transport links to Waterloo and the rest of central London via the District line. Buses at a 3 minute walk from the apartment, leave regularly with destinations to Putney (10 minutes) or Morden via Wimbledon Station (6 minutes) and South Wimbledon Station (13 minutes). THE FLAT The flat is located on the ground floor of a 1960s townhouse Comprising a large double bedroom with French doors opening onto the garden, a shower room and a kitchen/diner. The kitchen is equipped with an oven and cooker, a fridge/freezer and a washing machine/dryer. The shower room is newly refurbished, with a large power shower, sink and toilet. The bedroom is complete with a flat screen TV (with built in wireless), a CD/DVD player and a large couch to put your feet up at the end of the day. There are also large storage cabinets in the bedroom. Wifi is also provided. We provide cotton bedding and towels and can also provide tea, coffee and milk.

Central Richmond Living in a Victorian Apartment

The apartment is on the first floor (UK 'first floor' meaning it's above the ground-level floor) of a three story house on a very quiet street but only a few minutes walk into the heart of Richmond. Guests can utilize the entire apartment and the contents. I am happy to interface directly with my guests, or I am happy to do it remotely. I live in Richmond, so I can also be on hand if needed. The apartment is an easy five-minute walk from Richmond Centre. A mix of high-class boutiques and brand-name stores are found next to cafes, tea houses, gastropubs, bars, and award-winning restaurants. Transport links connect to central London. All services are safe, clean and efficient. Richmond Station is only a few minutes walk away (where taxis are always available), and provides three services: the traditional London Underground (25 – 30 mins into the centre), The London Overground (25 mins to North London / Hampstead), and regular train services either into Waterloo (20 mins) or out of London to wherever you wish to go! There are buses going south towards Kingston, and north towards Kew Gardens. The 391 and the 65 bus routes will take you smack through the centre of Richmond and Kew all the way across Kew Bridge to Chiswick and beyond. If you are in the mood for a stroll, Richmond Park is 10 minutes walk away and the river is also about 10 minutes - great for a wander along in summer while sampling the pubs and bars. Richmond bridge takes you across to the charming St Margaret's area. The neighbours in the apartments below and above are very nice folks, so please do be mindful of them, particularly late at night when going in and out of the apartment!

Beautiful detached garden studio building on residential street in Wimbledon Park, SW19. The building has private access through a side gate. There is a Queen size double bed which can also be split into twin beds. Sofa opens into a bunk bed suitable for 2 children. Modern shower room. Spacious living area with TV, desk/dining table. Earlsfield Overground train station 8 minutes walk, with trains to London Waterloo in 11 minutes. Wimbledon Park Underground on the District Line 10 minutes walk.
