The property has a sandy beach, a wood-fired sauna, a lean-to, a patio by the beach, a floating sauna, a well-equipped kitchen, a Weber gas grill, 2 toilets, a shower, an air-source heat pump, 2 SUP boards, a rowboat, a trampoline, children's books, and games. There is a disc golf course nearby. Here you will experience beautiful sunsets and you might spot a Saimaa ringed seal. The perfect place for those who value nature, tranquility, and comfort. Suitable for families with children.

The whole house at your disposal

Enjoy a vacation and get active in Punkaharju Lake Saimaa's waves are just 100 meters away, and the fishing waters of Pihlajavesi and Puruvesi await enthusiasts. The area's sandy beaches, the Forest Museum, the petting zoo, and the hiking trails with their lean-tos in the tree species park offer activities for the whole family. The Savonlinna Opera Festival is a 30-minute drive away. There are several sandy beaches in the area. In Punkaharju, there are grocery stores, a pharmacy, and a gas station; the distance is 8 km (5 miles). 30 km to Savonlinna, 6 km to Lusto train station, 350 km to Helsinki.

Peaceful beach cottage Mörkölä

A small and cozy cottage on the shore of Lake Simpele, equipped with solar electricity. Private beach, rowboat, sunny and peaceful location. The cottage has a kitchen with a coffee maker, microwave, refrigerator/freezer, and a stick vacuum cleaner, as well as a sauna with hot water in the summer. Separate bedroom with a queen-size bed. There is a sofa bed in the cottage. There is a new refrigerated toilet in the dressing room. No running water. Gas grill. The cottage's floor, kitchen, and terrace were renovated in the spring of 2025. Solar panels added in 2026 and new batteries on June 16, 2026

Between fishes – our house on the lake in Finland

Our piece of land is located on Kaita Järvi– an about 8 km long and a few hundred meter wide lake – it is a small peninsula that looks to the south. That means: sun from morning to evening (if it shines). There right on the shore you find our log cabin, with sauna, bathroom, living room with open kitchen and two small bedrooms. A few meters next to it is a studio like guesthouse, the "Aita". It is also very cosy and comfortable, but provides no own bathroom. Village Savonranta is 5 km away.

True Finnish cottage experience by Lake Saimaa

Experience the traditional Finnish lake cottage life. This log cottage was built in the 1800's with hand carved logs. It is located on a beautiful lake shore with fantastic views. Here you can enjoy nature and total peace just a 10 min. car drive from Savonlinna centre. You have a good chance of spotting the endangered Saimaa ring seal, often swimming in front of the cottage. Both the cottage and the sauna are just a few meters from the lake shore. There is a rowing boat for guests to use.

Villa Myllymäki

In the villa Myllymäki, built on top of Myllymäki with my own hands, it is easy to relax and get close to nature while enjoying the magnificent scenery. A window the size of the entire end wall frames the magnificent lake landscape. The farm has about 40 hectares of forest for animal grazing, which guarantees easy and fine hiking terrain. The distance to the center of Savonlinna is 10 km by car or 6 km by boat. The farm also has a private lean-to by the pond with equally stunning views.

Welcome to a unique boat house by a clear water lake! The boat house is equipped with modern appliances. Long deck by the water, summer kitchen, balcony on top of water, rowing boat, wood-fired sauna - all this is waiting for you in Ukonniemi. Boat house is excellent for remote work too as it is equipped so that all you need to bring along is your laptop. We are located on a northern Ukonniemi vineyard. You can explore nature and lake Pyhäjärvi during your stay!

Romantic shelter with a great view

A cozy cottage between pines and the lake just in 2 steps from Saimaa. It is quite small inside (30 square meters) with a big open terrace and a green lawn in front of it. There are a Loft bed for 2 people with a view, a small kitchen, fireplace, sauna on woods inside the cabin. It is great to start your day from early swimming and yoga/breakfast at the terrace listening to birds songs and finish your day with a glass of wine taking pictures of a stunning sunset.

Renovated historic cottage

By the waters of Kalainen, the historic ferry house delights in Savonranta by the Oriväri river connecting Paasvesi and Pyyvesi. The house has been completely renovated and the environment restored to its new splendor. The property has two kayaks, a rowboat and the possibility to rent a tub (in summer) and a motorboat, as well as fishing guide services! Our company's professional fishing uses the jetty at the cottage, so the fish are transported through the jetty.
