This was s last minute booking and we ended up getting in late at night. Kristel was very helpful at the late hour and we had a terrific stay! It was a little difficult to find in the dark and rain but easy to find in the daytime!!

Chiquita Beach, Aloki Village 2

We couldn’t have picked a better place for our two night stay. The location is secluded away from the hassle and bustle of Puerto Viejo but close where you can take a Tuk Tuk or bike ride (easy to rent nearby) to the center. Playa Chiquita is the closest beach but you can also visit Cocles and Punta Uva (our fave). The Airbnb has all the amenities you need and the host, Stephanie, was very responsive. We hope to return to this hidden oasis soon!

We just spent a wonderful 9 days here. The pictures do not do it justice. it is a beautiful place. The yard is gorgeous. We loved the tree house. Saw lots of animals right there, toucans, hummingbirds, howler monkeys, even a sloth. Browi was super helpful and attentive. He even accommodated us by changing one of the beds to a king size bed! He gave us lots of suggestions for places to eat, shop and see. None of his suggestions steered us wrong. Thanks for everything!
The modern house is surrounded by lush greenery, featuring large glass windows that provide a view of the inviting interior. A spacious wooden deck extends outward, enhancing the connection with nature while the warm tones of the evening light create a serene atmosphere.

Sloth House I- Pool/Beach/Epic Views/Couples

If you are expecting a 5 star resort, don't stay here. If you want to immerse yourself in a serene setting and embrace the outdoors, this is a great place to do so. The observation deck for checking out the wildlife is top notch and made all the difference for us. Don't think we would have seen close to what we experienced without it. Thanks Jeff for a wonderful first visit to CR.

Charming brand new cabin 5 min walk from the beach

Beautiful home surrounded by nature! My wife and I came for our honeymoon and felt so at peace. Despite no A/C, we weren’t burning up and were still able to sleep with a sheet on. We found lots to do near the property and were up the street from the wildlife rescue. You can get most places on a bike but a car made everything even more accessible, including other activities and tours. The beaches were beautiful, with more than 3 being in a 10 minute driving radius. Would stay again!!

Superb Villa - Pool & Jungle

AutumnRating, 5 stars1 month ago
Stayed here for 8 days, and loved the house. Pre trip I was worried about the lack of AC but the fans they provide made it bearable. House was very clean when we arrived and they also offered a free cleaning halfway through which was perfect for us. We spent majority of our time on the comfy couches on the patio & in the pool. Saw many agotti, toucans, and butterflies from our place and loved the greenery. Would definitely recommend renting a vehicle if staying here, the road leading up is pretty steep and rocky. The howler monkeys and bugs can tend to get loud at times, I brought ear plugs because I'm a light sleeper and it helped a lot. The managing team was very responsive and answered all questions within 40 min or so even at night. Place is beautiful and definitely one of the better homes in the area.
