I truly enjoyed my stay at the Mangovillas. What a beautiful quiet place they created, close to Puerto Viejo and Cocles. It was great using the bikes to visit the beaches and to go to the supermarket. The national park of Manzanillo is around 20 mins by car. I travelled alone and felt very safe and comfortable. The wifi is excellent, so it's perfect to work as well. I hope to return soon.

Place looks even better when you come there. Apartment was superb, clean and vozy. Host is very responsive and helps with everything. Great breakfast, great location... What else to ask for?

Wonderful place to stay in Puerto viejo. Everything is in walking distance and the cahuita national park and manzanillo Refugio are just 20-30min by car. Our host was very nice and reacted very quickly and relaxed when we locked us out one time 😅 I can only recommend this place to everyone wanting to stay in the area.

Anton and Shannon were so nice and welcoming. The apartment was perfect for me and my partner and the beach was literally a 2 minute walk from the house. The house is surrounded by jungle and it’s beautiful. The layout of the house was super cozy so it was easy to relax after a day of exploring. Perfect spot for a getaway that’s private and close to everything.

Apartment was clean and matched the photos. The location is quiet and the beach is easy to reach. Communication was good and easy. If you want to cook yourself, the kitchen could be better equipped (e.g. additional pot or pan).

Janina's house is beautiful, the garden and the animals that visit it are lovely. It is very close to the beach, it is a very quiet area, close to everything and easy access. Janina was lovely, she made sure our stay was perfect, shared data with us and was very available for any questions... we think it was a very good decision to stay in her house... the Internet is very fast! in case you have to solve some of the work... Thanks for these days!

The stay in Puerto Viejo offers a privileged location close to the beach and surrounded by nature. The rooms are clean, comfortable, and well equipped. The staff is friendly and helpful. Recommended for a quiet relaxing stay in the Caribbean

Lovely stay. about an hour's walk or $6 Uber from town. cycled in most days. beautiful route via the beach. very peaceful and beautiful stay. the villa was very big and clean. kitchen was well equipped. pool area beautifully clean. felt immersed in the jungle- very private and peaceful.

Selvin's cabins have a great location, very close to Punta Uva. The accommodation was very spacious and clean. The room had several spaces and a terrace. They were also flexible with check-in and check-out. Overall, a great place to stay.

We discovered Jessy's place through Google on the internet. I actually prefer to book directly with the host. Airbnb gets a share of about 20% for each booking. We stayed with Jessy for a week. It's a nice place to stay with a very well-kept outdoor area. For longer stays, the apartment is a bit cramped. I would recommend other guests to book Jessy's larger apartment in this case, as it has a large dining table. A very big advantage was that we could use the communal terrace with dining table. It is located right next to the room. Jessy provides her guests with games, a TV and Alexa. You can also use a large grill on the terrace. The Internet is sometimes disrupted and a bit slow in the region, but Jessy will soon get a fast fiber optic connection. Finally, I can tell you that Jessy is a very attentive and friendly hostess!

It's a lovely little house! It was just what we were looking for in terms of enough space, equipment and privacy. There were 6 of us, and the place offers enough space for all of us to be comfortable together or separately (it has a large terrace, living room, and dining room). They keep it very well. In addition, it is surrounded by nature and the landscape is very relaxing. Downtown Cahuita is close by car, about 3 minutes away. Plus, Ashley's service was exceptional! We're happy we went.

Nice house away from town and right next to the beach, perfect for having a peaceful weekend.

I don’t even know where to begin; I’m so in love 🩷 Mercedes is a 100/100 host! Her apartment is stunning! It is spacious, immaculately clean and located near the most delicious restaurants with only a 5 minute walk to the beautiful Playa Negra. I have had the oppertunity to see iguanas, tucans, beautiful birds and butterflies just feet away from the balcony. Supermarkets are near and the neighborhood is friendly. Mercedes is a pleasure and she takes care of any issues that may occur quickly. I cannot recommend this space enough. It will quickly become your home away from home and you will never want to leave 🥰

Jacky was always very friendly and attentive, the place is very nice, safe, quiet and private. I recommend this place and would definitely return with my family, it is one of the few places with a pool and air conditioning in the area, very conveniently located
