This place was exactly what I had hoped for on our family vacation visiting the Osa Peninsula and Corcovado. We had an amazing time! Our stay was wonderful and we can’t say enough about how much we appreciate the hospitality and experiences that Justin, as well as Yeri and his family helped us to enjoy!

Nos encantó el lugar estaba muy lindo y limpio y en general bien descrito. Está muy cerca de la playa y cuenta con un buen espacio para parquear. La cocina está completa, solo que no hay sal ni aceite. Tiene una linda terraza, donde compartir y comer. En la descripción no lo dice, pero solo tiene un AC, y está en la sala. Las almohadas de las camas son MUY incomodas, fue lo único que nos disgustó.

This was an extraordinary experience; one of our favorite spaces and trips that we have ever had. The nature is unbeatable. Monkeys and macaws are your close neighbors. The jungle is home, and the energy it provides is nurturing and deeply spiritual. The layout of the house is spacious and open. The beach is private and a beautiful 5 minute walk. Wir haben die Tage bei Keyla sehr genossen. die Unterkunft ist absolut perfekt für einen Aufenthalt in Puerto Jiménez. Etwas abgelegen der Hauptstraße und fußläufig zu allen wichtigen Orten und Restaurants. Die Waschmaschine in der Unterkunft ist ein Segen, vor allem nach einem Ausflug in den Corcovado NP. Vielen Dank!

Paz is a special place and Roberto is a wonderful host. The floor to ceiling screens in the living room/dining room situate you right in the secondary forest. Heaven for nature loving bird nerds. If you’ve spent time on the Osa before, you know Howler monkeys wake you at 4:30am. We watched howler, spider, and squirrel monkeys from bed. The beach is a minute walk. A covered porch with hammocks and chairs to enjoy the beautiful Gulfo Dulce. And a small pool to cool off in (key) and watch Macaws, capuchin monkeys, hermit crabs & the waves. We bought groceries in Puerto Jimenez and cooked most of meals for the week. Kitchen has big fridge, sharp knives, and worked well for us. Marluna Lodge (5 min drive) for Taco Tuesday. Visited local surf breaks and surfed the right point break out front of Paz. Tide dependent. Roberto can help you figure it out. Roberto was very attentive, warm, and helpful. He’s created a beautiful space in a beautiful part of the world.

We absolutely loved our stay here. It was the perfect place to unwind and truly be together as a family. The animal life was incredible. We woke up to monkeys in the morning and playing throughout the day just outside the house. Both john and Oscar were super helpful and friendly. And if you have a chance to have Jackson’s cook- she was incredible. If you’re in for a rustic, full of nature, full family time then this is your place! Also don’t miss out on scheduling a horseback ride with Carlos at finca tropical! It surpassed our expectations and my husband used to guide horseback rides in Colorado. Enjoy the time together and this charming place in Cabo matopalo!

Casa Lapas fue un lugar increíble. La casa muy aseada, cerca del mar, muy completa, fácil acceso y muy segura por si andas con 🐶. Nos vamos muy felices con la casa y la amabilidad de Alexander, incluso nos dejaron un detalle de bienvenida, nos vamos muy agradecidos y felices, esperamos volver.

La casa es muy linda, bien cuidada y todo está muy ordenado. Lea fue muy amable y me ayudó con todas mis preguntas. Éramos un grupo de 7 y la casa es demasiado cómoda y segura.

We loved our stay here. The bird life alone was stunning - scarlet macaws, parakeets, toucans and so many more. The pool was everything we needed and the space of the home was well laid out. The beds were comfortable and the location was quiet and in a friendly neighborhood. There is a little grocery store just a short walk away where we picked up ice cream and anything we forgot from Puerto Jimenez. It is a little drive out of town but such a beautiful retreat, we rarely left.

Great place nearby to local surf breaks, 10 min walk with a board to pan dulce. House is nice and is entirely bug netted and open to the breeze which is very nice. Peter also gave us coconut from the property which was awesome. Recommended

La casa con la mejor localizacion de todo Matapalo para surfear los diferentes puntos y explorar, los jardines espectaculares con la mejor vista de toda la bahia y la casa muy comoda para grupos y familias.

Esta casa es muy linda y muy cómoda un aire acondicionado x cada cuarto, buenos acabados, excelente Calidad precio y tantos Inna como su esposo muy atentos y serviciales. Es de los mejores Airbnb que me he quedó y inclusoe compartieron su cuenta de Netflix para verlo en el tele de la sala. Muy felíz y exelente para mascotas. Muy buenos vecinos

¡Excelente lugar! Una casa muy linda, bien equipada, muy fresca y con excelentes anfitriones. La recomendamos mucho, sin duda volveríamos a hospedarnos aquí.

We Stayed at Casa Escondida with the family. It was a lovely experience. Right next to the beautiful beach of backwash. The house was beautiful and clean, with 2 big bedrooms each with their own bathrooms. The kitchen was a little small, but it balanced well with having the upper deck to enjoy having food in the outdoors. We saw monkeys, armadillos, toucans and more right next to the house! The manager there, Doña Irma and her husband were super sweet and took really good care of us. There is another house right next to Casa Escondida, Casa Luz, they were doing a yoga retreat there and it was calm and peaceful and we didn't feel at all bothered by being close. There was good natural separation with the landscaping. And yeah... the beach 25 steps away is priceless.

I appreciated the warm reception when I arrived. What was most notable was the fruit platter and fresh coconut water to greet me. The location is off the highway and away from town which makes it preferable for quite settling.

The cabin very sweet and comfortable with amazing attention to detail. We came over Christmas and new years and there were seasonal decorations, even the dish towel was festive. Functional WiFi, air conditioning, parking right next to the place made it very easy to unpack luggage and convenient. Homely and comfortable, felt like luxury camping. Very welcoming hosts.
