We had an amazing time at Villa Elena! Every day felt like waking up in a little paradise, surrounded by beautiful plants and birds — and of course, the stunning view of the volcanoes. Fabulous villa with beautiful sea views, very comfortable and well appointed. Outside space is exceptional with bbq and lots of seating. In a quiet location, with a well stocked supermarket nearby and great restaurants within a 10 minute walk. The host Pablo was a joy to deal with, utterly charming and responsive, greeted us on arrival. Our first experience of an Airbnb property overseas and definitely won’t be our last! Would highly recommend.

A great villa in a fantastic spot on the edge of the village, very quiet and totally private with open views and a beautifully stocked garden and good sized heated pool for swimming. We had a very relaxing time in a clutter free carefully designed environment, yet everything that we needed for self catering was provided. The beds are super comfortable and towels are very soft. What a tonic, we hope to return. Just perfect thank you.

We've just spent a fantastic week at Casa Box! Koen was an excellent host - he met us at the villa to show us around and recommended local attractions, and kept in touch during our stay to check that everything was ok. The villa itself is amazing - everything is finished to a high standard, and all the little touches from toiletries to kitchen utensils, barbecue equipment and beach accessories make it feel like home! The location of the villa is great - fantastic views of the arid landscape, within walking distance to the lovely village of Lajares which has a good selection of shops, cafes and a supermarket, and only 10 minutes by car from amazing beaches. The pool area is a calm and sheltered spot to relax, with sunbeds, lounging beds, an outdoor dining area, and a foosball game which was great fun! Thank you Koen - you have really thought of everything and we will most definitely be back!

Fantastic Villa. Stayed with my 2 grown up daughters. We had an amazing stay. Villa is reflected well in pics but is even better when there. Pool great. Fantastic views over ocean, private, peaceful and quiet at night. Easily able to get to other parts of the island from Villa in car. Ralph was an excellent communicator. Villa extremely well equipped. Lovely ‘welcome’ pack which was much appreciated. Large supermarkets close by. Would highly recommend staying here. We loved it!!

We were a small family team looking for a relaxing vacation at very short notice, and this villa in Lajares was the perfect discovery. The villa itself was a dream - bright, modern, and with an open kitchen that invited cooking and eating. The heated pool on the sun terrace was the perfect place to relax. And when we weren't in the villa, we were only 10 minutes from the stunning beaches. The villa was so spacious that we never got in each other's way,. We felt like home, only much, much better. Hands down, one of the best Airbnb ever. Cristina is a lovely host and she made our stay absolutely perfect by being so welcoming and reactive. The place in itself is beautiful, relaxing, the light is beautiful and there’s everything you need in the flat. We had such a restful holiday ! Also, there is a shop just near by and the place is 5 to 10mn away from several towns with excellent restaurants / coffee shops / beaches etc

From the off-set Giovanni and Alfredo were simply the perfect hosts. Their communication from pre-booking to post check-out was second to none - they always replied within a matter of minutes and were on hand whenever we needed them and even let us have a late check-out on our final day. We made a few suggestions during our stay, two of which were some cushions for the sofa in the lounge and the provision of beach towels for the loungers, both of which were provided the same day! The property is simply beautiful. It's free of clutter, squeaky clean and we'd have to say, has the best position on the Sun Beach complex! There is even sun on the terrace until after lunch - it was lovely to sit out on the loungers in a morning with a coffee and admire the sea and pool view, in perfect peace and tranquility. Just love it here. We will definitely be back and can recommend it, without a moment's hesitation. Thank you for having us Giovanni & Alfredo. See you again very soon... Sally & Andy x

Recently renovated accommodation, very comfortable, equipped with everything you need for a stay. The location is a bit secluded, in a valley between the mountains, in a very quiet but convenient and central area, especially for visiting the central and northern part of the island. Javier is an available, friendly and very responsive host.

Alessia's place is nothing short of amazing! It looks even better in reality, spacious, clean and has absolutely everything you need for longer stays. Alessia was a great host, very friendly and responsive and gave us a lot of local recommendations. We definitely recommend it and would definitely choose it again. :)

Just the perfect spot to visit the island! Very close to the restaurants at Playa Blanca and easy to get to multiple hikes, even one just outside the house. The house itself is an oasis perfect to disconnect and recharge around the swimming pool!

Lovely villa in a quiet cul de sac. Agustin was a perfect laid back host. Met us on arrival to give us the keys. Sent us a good selection of restaurant recommendations, Mirador de las salinas was fab, and was fabulous about our later than planned arrival and late check out request as nobody was booked in the day afterward. Casa Sultana is perfect. Well laid out with everything you need, and so relaxing chilling by the pool or barbecuing in the evening. It’s a fifteen min walk down into the main part of Playa Blanca where there are plenty of food spots and bars if you need them. We had a hire car so mostly explored further afield in the evenings, out of town. A really great chilled out week. We will be returning to visit again. Thank you, for a wonderful stay.

Very nice house, with a whole series of extra amenities, products in the kitchen (coffee, sugar, salt, various spices, water, bottle of wine, etc.) You find sunscreen, and after-crema, beach towels. The house isn't right on the sea, but it's so beautiful and comfortable that's fine. Thanks Veronica!

Myself&my partner have just returned from our pre-wedding holiday & we have to say that Julie & Peter’s house is the best accommodation that we have ever stayed in from this app. Our flight arrived early (09:45am) - Julie & Peter were flexible with our check in time, allowing us to check in to the house immediately on our arrival. They met us at the property, showed us around, and instantly we knew we’d made the right decision to stay there. They are thoughtful, kind, and personable people. The house is the best equipped house we’ve stayed in - shampoo/conditioner/condiments/washing machine tablets/ample toilet roll… they had got us a bottle of Prosecco, some beer, and some chocolate on our arrival. It was like a home away from home. In terms of location, there was a shop located 15 minutes walking distance and restaurants about a 25 min walk along the beach front! We loved the island and the accommodation so much that we are looking to stay here again! Thank you :)

I can recommend staying here with a clear conscience. It was one of the best accommodations I've ever stayed in. The house was fully equipped, well-maintained, very clean and Adrian responded to all our inquiries. In the evenings, the village is empty of tourists and the balcony has a great view of the sunsets. Adrian fulfilled our wishes and our son got beach toys. A nice surprise was also a welcome gift on the table. The kitchen was fully equipped, although we only lacked a cutting board. There were only two defects that bothered us. The first are the ants living somewhere in the kitchen between the cabinets. All food must be kept in the refrigerator. And the second one is a poorly washing washing machine (maybe clogged with sand?). First of all, it did not rinse well and it was necessary to do an additional rinse cycle (i.e. a total of 5 rinses) so that the clothes were not covered in detergent. Secondly, it did not spin the water well and a bowl would be useful to move these wet things to the balcony without dripping them down the stairs.

A super nice, cozy and lovingly furnished cottage with a wonderful, naturally integrated terrace. The house is slightly elevated, so you have a wonderful view of the mountains, the surrounding extensive valley and Lajares itself. We think it's the best location in town. Shopping, coffee, very delicious restaurants (especially the Lebanese Oum had impressed us) and cafés (Arco Cafe - own roastery, best coffee in town!, avocado toast, awesome!). The house is located on the edge of a very active new development area - it did not bother us, as the terrace is on the other side. Amenities, rooms, on-site management: Absolutely great! We were surprised that the house has two separate apartments, the smaller of which served us parents as a refuge from our teenagers. Also great for two friendly families or family with grandpa/grandma. THANKS Verena and THANKS to Paul and Barney for the great service.

Elena's place was great, very comfortable and quiet, with a contemporary style design, high-end appliances with everything you would need: dishwasher, washing machine, induction cooktop, oven, and a spacious fridge. I really recommend staying in Lajares for a surf or foiling trip; lots of surf breaks are around the corner, but it's still a laid-back environment with delicious restaurants 5 minutes away. The patio feels private, with lots of space to wash and dry your equipment. Parking is always available and easy to access for loading your car. Elena was really helpful, recommending places to eat and spots for surfing and windsports, always one step ahead. She's an amazing windsurfer, by the way, so feel free to ask her about ideal conditions around the island.

Wonderful family holiday in a spacious apartment. Advice and support regarding apartment and local amenities was excellent. Attentive and friendly support from knowledgeable and approachable villa staff. Hope to return sometime in the future Highly recommend xx 🇪🇸

Would go back. Great for catering and Antigua is a sweet town. A wonderful space and pretty flawlesss. Well equipped too

This is the perfect place to stay if you want a peaceful, relaxing time in stunning surroundings. The villa looks exactly like the pics and there were some nice welcome gifts waiting for us. We will definitely return someday!
