Amazing country house immersed in the vineyard of Cantina Lapone, viewing Orvieto. Recently restored, over 100 sm, organised on two floors. Ground floor is a single space with a big living room (with fireplace) and a spacious open kitchen. First floor with two bedrooms and two bathrooms: the main bedroom (looking at Orvieto) with a double bed and internal bathroom and a second one with a double bed and a bed sofa. Private garden and parking. Private pool (shared with another 4 guests house).

This house is located in the oldest part of Orvieto, next to San Giovenale, the first Orvieto Cathedral built in 1004. The house has been fully restored with all modern amenities and has easy access to shopping, true Italian restaurants, many historical places. Rental is available with a minimum of three nights stay. Upon your arrival you will be greeted by Paolo Luciani, the manager, who will meet you in the square in front of the train station below the rock and take you to the house.

The house is in the oldest square of Orvieto, San Giovenale with the beautiful Romanesque church of the 11th century. A Loggia with stunning views of the Paglia Valley from where you can discover Mount Amiata, Mount Cetona and Mount Peglia. Furnished with custom-made furniture by Orvieto master carpenters, the wooden ceilings on the first floor and the handmade terracotta floor make it a charming accommodation in which to spend a wonderful stay in Orvieto. La Dimora di Gilda è una moderna dependance composta da un saloncino con camino e divano letto matrimoniale, angolo cottura, una camera da letto (anch'essa matrimoniale) ed un bagno privato. La Dimora si trova all'interno di un giardino di un antico Casaletto in pietra ('700), immersa nella campagna umbra con ulivi e piante da frutta a soli 2,5 Km dal centro di Spoleto ('5 di auto). In caso non si disponga di mezzo proprio sono disponibile ad un servizio navetta.
