This is a special place where you can take a new breath and rest fully, so you can return to your routine with new energy. This project was born from an old primary school that was restored to bring more life to the village. We are in the centre of Portugal, in the middle of the mountains, surrounded by pure nature. Ideal for long stays, come and enjoy this space surrounded by forest.

At the vegetable garden, enjoy a strawberry, feel the aromas, on the balcony with wide views, rest your eyes and relax. This is the ideal space to spend a few days with friends or gather the family in a rural and welcoming environment. An invigorating dip in the pool or watching the birds fuss in the backyard. Recovering a stone house, keeping the ancestral and typical details was a challenge, but one that we gladly accepted, guided by the desire to preserve history and memory. Be welcome.

The Haystack

Panoramic View and Jacuzzi Palheiro is located in the village of Sobral Fernando and is a house dating back to 1936, all of which is built in schist stone. Recently restored, it offers a modern, welcoming environment while preserving the traces of times past. It has a Jacuzzi with water that can be heated on the panoramic balcony.
