Kyle's place was beautifully furnished and very peaceful. It is centrally located and walking distance from all of the attractions that Prince Albert has to offer. We had a minor issue with the wifi not having data, but managed to sort it out. We would recommend this listing to anyone looking for a relaxing weekend away.

Danie and Narina are lovely guests, very easy to communicate with, very nice and accomodating. Their place is something special, in the middle of « nowhere », horizon as far as the eye can see, you can see the sunset and the moon rising at the same time, and their place is very well equipped ! The road to arrive is quite long and the wind can wake you up while you sleep but that’s part of the trip ! We recommend

This property truly surpasses the photos. Beautifully decorated with a wide selection of art, books, crockery, fabrics, glassware , etc. We especially loved the main bedroom, which feels like a lush greenhouse, full of greenery. Every corner of the property is thoughtfully decorated and impeccably maintained. We highly recommend this place to anyone who appreciates design and nature.

What a lovely, spacious, family friendly and peaceful home. Everything we needed for in self catering accommodation was catered for and more! We loved the uncluttered interior. We could unpack and start our relaxing stay right away. Riana was a wonderful host: welcoming and she went the extra mile in ensuring a smooth check in. She was responsive when we had questions and offered great recommendations about activities around the area. The bed linen was great quality and the house is well insulated for warm days and cold nights. The cole stove in the kitchen was an absolute spoil where we could reconnect as a family while playing board games and snack. The spacious fenced yard with ostriches and the resident owl next to us was a treat. The old farm style wooden windows that open up wide invited the fresh farm air into the interior of the house as well. We had a wonderful time and made long lasting family memories. We will definitely be back!

We had a peaceful relaxing weekend at the Old School House, its very charming, full of character, and comfortable. The surroundings and views of the mountains are beautiful, we had a walk down to the river which also very charming.

Tia was a welcoming host, her place is absolutely stunning with some much effort and love put in to make you feel right at home, the beds were super comfy. The house is so beautiful! I would HIGHLY recommend staying here. Thanks so much Tia for your wonderful hospitality.

Our stay at the farm was nothing short of exceptional. Traveling as a family of four with our dog, we felt immediately welcomed by Louis and his family, who anticipated our every need with genuine warmth and care. Set against breathtaking mountain scenery, every day brought a new adventure. We enjoyed a memorable walk to the stunning waterfall, had plenty of fun in the swimming pool, and immersed ourselves in the natural beauty of the surroundings. Beyond the property, the area offers a wealth of activities—from invigorating hikes at the top of the Swartberg Pass and explorations of the Cango Caves to visits to an ostrich farm. This destination truly provides the perfect blend of relaxation and adventure, making it an ideal getaway for families seeking comfort, excitement, and a connection with nature.

We were made welcome by Norman and Ceena. The accommodation was clean and comfortable and very peaceful. It is centrally placed and we enjoyed a night walk around Ladismith and a visit to the Museum run by the very knowledgeable Hettie. Definitely recommended for a stay

An absolute Karoo gem! We had the most magical stay at Karus Karoo — hands down one of the best Airbnb experiences we've ever had. From the moment we arrived, we were blown away by the peacefulness of the location and the thoughtful touches everywhere. The Kol Kol wood-fired hot tub was the ultimate highlight — watching the sunset over the Karoo while soaking in warm water with a glass of wine was pure heaven. 🔥🌄✨ The cottage itself is beautifully styled — rustic but luxurious, with everything we needed and more. It’s tucked away in a quiet corner of Prince Albert but still within easy walking distance of some incredible spots. We loved having brunch at Lazy Lizzard and strolling the quaint streets lined with galleries and cafés. The hosts clearly put their heart into every detail. We felt so welcome and spoiled. We’ll definitely be back — this place is soul food. Highly, highly recommend! ❤️

We had a lovely peaceful stay. The location and views are stunning and we enjoyed our hike on the property. Celia was great with our arrival and stay and organised a hamper of local produce for us. We enjoyed the hot tub and star filled sky but unfortunately the day we got there was extremely hot and the cabin filled up with insects in the evening. We have a sedan vehicle which was a challenge on the rocky dirt road and if your vehicle sits quite low take note of this. Overall we enjoyed our stay and would recommend if you’re looking for some peace and solitude.
