Nice house refurbished and completed in July 2024. You will find all the comforts to spend peaceful weekends and vacations. Between Niort and La Rochelle, at the gates of the Poitevin marsh, this small house is located in the center of Mauze sur le Mignon. Bakery and bar/tobacconist/newsstand right next door as well as restaurants, pharmacy, schools, shops, municipal pool and train station 5 min walk. A parking space is dedicated in the shared courtyard. Bed and shower linens included.

Lovely place to stay for up to 6 guests. From the wooden terrace you can enjoy a beautiful unobstructed view of the countryside. Ideally located between Niort and La Rochelle, at the gates of the Marais Poitevin. You have all the amenities in Mauzé-sur-le-Mignon, including an indoor pool, and a beautiful walk along the canal du cute. The gite is located next to the N11. 30 min from La Rochelle, Chatelaillon beach; 1 hour from the futuroscope. Jacuzzi available from May to September.

A peaceful little haven in the heart of the Poitevin Marsh. You will have a hard time leaving Maddy and Pascal's place as their cottage is cozy, peaceful and welcoming. Maddy and Pascal always responded to our messages very quickly and were very welcoming when we arrived. They even recommended a restaurant that was also delicious. We loved spending time in their beautiful garden, which you will access to from the cottage. The accommodation is also very comfortable and very well-equipped. We'll be back, that's for sure!

Excellent place. We were hosted very well. The accommodation is very pleasant (linens available, quality bedding, coffee, condiments, etc.) and especially the direct access to the water through the garden allows you to go on a boat trip without difficulties (boat, canoe, waterproof bag... everything is available!). Perfectly located to discover the canals of the Poitevin Marsh in peace while taking your time! A big favorite, for the house, the Marais and Nathalie's hospitality! Thank you!

The small house

Nadia is an attentive, considerate and discreet host. The accommodation is charming, well-equipped and very quiet. The only downside is the distance from La Rochelle. Even if the road to access is convenient, it takes 40 minutes to access the beaches. Otherwise the village is not far and there are all the necessary shops. If we look for calm as a family, I highly recommend this listing.

Mélusine gîte, cozy cottage in the countryside

We had a lovely stay with our 3-year-old son. The cottage is a little far from the guesthouse and the other cottage which allows privacy. It's perfectly well equipped. The exteriors are very nice and the place is very quiet and relaxing. The pool is very nice and well secured by a barrier which is perfect with a child. Hosts are super friendly, present and attentive without being invasive. We'll gladly go back to that!

Perfect accommodation for our very short stay! Very functional, pleasant and cozy. Bakery a stone's throw away and a 5-minute walk from the pier! The village is quiet and pretty! Frédéric is very responsive to messages and flexible, we thank him warmly!
