1946 Comfort Retreat is located on the Northeast side of Helper. We have a beautiful yard with fruit trees and outdoor furniture for relaxing. In the evening the deer come in for a snack from the apple trees. The house offers 2 bedrooms and a spacious living room. The dining table seats 6 and the air conditioning keeps your cool in the summer months and heats comfortably with a gas furnace. There is room in the driveway for three cars and an alley to park toy haulers or camping trailers.

Outstanding hospitality and accommodations! Gary and Char, the hosts, went out of their way to make us feel welcome. They provided personalized recommendations for my retired husband who is a train fan and even alerted us when they saw a train in Price heading our way in Helper. Downtown Helper is quite appealing with an amazing museum, lovely parks, a river walk, good food, and shopping (with more in nearby Price). Many of the historic buildings are well maintained and vintage small town photographic opportunities are endless. All of this is surrounded by wilderness, recreational areas, and parks. This place is a gem. We'll be back!!

This was such a great place to stay! This space was very comfortable! With lots of amenities in case we forgot anything. There were clear instructions on how everything worked. I was traveling with dogs. This home made that easy. They had dog beds, food dishes, doggy bags, kennels, and treats! For the humans, it was lovely and relaxing! The backyard patio was perfect for grilling and eating. The hot tub was lovely! I felt right at home! Thank you

We have stayed at this location three times and it is certainly worth it. It’s nice and comfortable and easy access to town. It’s on a slightly busy road but it’s worth it for the convenience of being close to town and easy to get to.

Great place to stay before we headed up to joes valley to go camping! Our dog loved running around the property and it was pretty easy to keep her in the pet friendly part of the house, she loved looking out all the windows in the back sun room. Only complaint is that the kitchen was out of paper towels and I couldn’t find a replacement roll, I’m sure if id messaged Dave he would’ve let us know but it wasn’t that big of a deal, we just bought napkins for camping anyways. Be aware that the only shower is in a basement bathroom, I’m 5’ 7” and felt claustrophobic in there. My 6’ 2” partner bent over to shower and says it worked but wasn’t comfortable to do. Overall the stay was great though! I worked from there on Wednesday with no issues via WiFi. Thanks Dave! :)

This is a very cute little 1930s home that has been renovated in a modern style. We enjoyed being able to bring our dog and he being able to have a small grassy area to lie in/ relieve himself. The shower was nice, clean, had large soaps, shampoo and conditioner available for use. The kitchen utensils were all practical. We especially were impressed with the WiFi speed, especially as we needed it for work. We will stay here again!

We had a wonderful stay at this charming spot right on Main Street in Helper, UT. The location couldn't be better—everything in town was just a short walk away, which made exploring so easy and fun. The space itself was spacious, clean, and thoughtfully set up. It felt both comfortable and stylish, with beautiful views that made us want to linger a little longer each morning. The kitchen and dining area were perfect for eating in—we really appreciated how well-equipped everything was. It felt like a home away from home, and we’re already looking forward to staying here again.
