In the middle of the forest, on a clearing, 3 km from the beautiful town of Gartow, lies our special retreat. The old half-timbered building, a former stable, was renovated with high quality and sustainably with natural materials. Clay plaster on the walls and the wood-burning stove guarantee an excellent indoor climate, and the walk to the wood-fired sauna promises absolute relaxation!

Unfortunately, our farm is not suitable for excessive parties. Our house was built around 1850. The house & barn of the listed 3-sided courtyard are built in oak half-timbering. There are 10 wedding linden trees around the house. In November, when the lime trees are pruned, the house can be seen in all its splendor. From May onwards, it slowly disappears behind shady foliage, and so remains wonderfully cool throughout the summer...

Located in a small village in the Elbtalaue Biosphere Reserve, not far from the Elbe bike hiking trail near Dömitz with cafes, restaurants and shopping. A pretty lake is about 1km.
