Benvenuti a Ostana, uno dei Borghi più belli d'Italia, situato in val Po di fronte al Monviso (3841 mt), la montagna più alta delle Alpi Cozie. La baita si trova a 1400 metri nella caratteristica borgata Sant'Antonio di Ostana, lontana dai circuiti turistici di massa. La baita ha una bella esposizione a sud-ovest, e dalla sua ampia terrazza si gode una vista spettacolare sul Monviso e sulle montagne circostanti. Nei mesi invernali, se lo desiderate, sarete avvolti dal calore del camino a legna.

La casa, detta "la_casetta_delle_bambole" (vedi Insta) é molto piccola, caratteristica delle case di montagna, ma è stata ristrutturata per avere tutto il comfort moderno! È riscaldata con una romantica sufa a legna! All' esterno (anche se in posizione centrale) ha uno spazio verde in cui è possibile rilassarsi ammirando il panorama in qualsiasi stagione, la borgata è sempre abitata e viva tutto l’anno! N.B. Our home in the deep mountain forest exists in quiet isolation, 1 kilometer from the nearest inhabitants. We offer you an attic apartment hand-renovated by Riccardo. The apartment has a big bed and pull-out couch (both situated under skylights), a living area, kitchenette, private bathroom and a view of the valley.

House in a splendid position in the Alps for nature lovers. Renovated and recently expanded with the studio apartment where you will be staying. Modern but in the typical mountain style. Humble in size but independent and equipped with all the amenities you need, incl. private kitchen and bathroom. Comfortable sofa bed for two. The town Villar Pellice is three kilometres away. The road to the valley is all paved but has some hairpin bends.

Il nome di questo posto è "Il nido di Pierre". Il nido di Pierre prende il nome da Pierre Ribet che nei primi dell'800, con il padre Jacques, hanno costruito questa casa. Valdesi protestanti, allora considerati eretici erano per questo qui isolati. Non solo hanno costruito questa casa ma anche quelle vicine e i muri a secco per la coltivazione di questi terreni impervi.
