Vacation rentals with a pool in Praia Formosa

What a wonderful place to stay and for us perfect location to explore beautiful Madeira. 6 of us stayed for 1 week, the accommodation was perfect with various areas to spread out. We spent most of our evenings around the pool side, playing games and soaking up the views. The home has everything a family would need to enjoy your stay. Local shops, cafes and restaurants 10min walk up hill. Fully recommend if you are able to take a 1 day jeep tour of the island as Madeira has some spectacular scenery, valleys, mountains, villages and locations to explore. Contact with the host was effortless and always quick with responding. We loved our stay.

The house was a wonderful place for us and our family. Plenty of room and the kitchen was very well equipped. The view was spectacular and the pool and patio were an excellent spot to relax.

We really enjoyed the accommodation! (family of 6 people) This one is well located, a beautiful view, very peaceful and private place. It is very well equipped, heated pool (for €30/day), barbecue available, very spacious and clean. Which makes it a great value. We recommend it!

We had a lovely stay in a beautiful, pristine, peaceful home. Well equipped kitchen. Maria has thought of everything. The outside space was really great, plenty of space to enjoy the pool along with the outside kitchen BBQ. We walked to the botanical gardens which was 10 minutes away. Two small supermarkets and bakery 3 minutes walk from the house. We walked in Funchal several times and caught a taxi home. Lovely climate and beautiful surroundings.

This was by far the best AirBnB we’ve ever stayed in. Antonio was so helpful from the very beginning (he sent lots of info ahead of our arrival), made sure we could check in in the morning after our early flight and welcomed us personally at his lovely house with pool and all amenities one could look for (specifically in the kitchen and bathrooms, where we found all types of equipment, shampoo, tissues etc). The beds were comfortable, the view was stunning. We were a group of 6 and enjoyed cooking together (particularly barbecuing outdoors), but the house offered many peaceful corners for each of us to relax in, too. We also really appreciated Antonio‘s recommendations for hikes and other things to do on the island. Thanks a lot for everything!!

The space was beautiful. We loved the decor and the large doors that brought brightness with a view of the beautiful courtyard with the pool. We were hosted very well by a very good host. What a nice touch! Susana also gave us several restaurant recommendations and communication was great. It took 8 minutes to drive to the city center. We found all the essentials to cook well. The accommodation was clean, but I can't ignore the shower. There was mold and, personally, despite the scent that had been added, I found the smell of dampness and mold unpleasant. Everything else was impeccable!

Annikka is a very friendly host. Always answered quickly to our questions. The apartment corresponded to its description. Stunning view of the ocean from the balcony. Nearby are beach resorts, a promenade along the sea, a large shopping center. Convenient access to the city center.

Absolutely Stunning Apartment with Unbeatable Views! This was, without a doubt, the best Airbnb we've ever stayed in! From the moment we arrived, we were blown away by the absolutely stunning apartment. It was incredibly well-equipped with everything we could possibly need for a comfortable and relaxing stay. The beautiful location was a real highlight, boasting amazing sea views from the balcony that we enjoyed every single day. The lovely swimming pools on site were a fantastic bonus, perfect for a refreshing dip. Our hosts, Mariana and Ricardo, were so welcoming and helpful, always on hand to answer any questions and offer local tips. The great wifi was a practical plus, and we loved that the apartment was within walking distance to the main shops, making everything so convenient. Daniel is a very friendly and attentive host. She followed us from the first to the last minute, giving tips about the area. The apartment is really space and spacious, with two nice balconies perfect for an outdoor breakfast!
