Vacation rentals with a patio in Praia da Rocha

A beautiful apartment exceeded my expectations much better than in the photos , regardless of the unforeseen it was one of the best I have ever been, super good people host.

We stayed for 3 nights in May, and really enjoyed our time in Portimão. The town is very pleasant, with excellent restaurants, the riverfront area, and easy access to the coastline of the Algarve. The apartment is very cute, with plenty of character. It is simple and compact, but we had all that we need. Having the outdoor patio was lovely, and we could watch the storks nesting on the chimney next door! Communication with the hosts was very easy, and access was exactly as described. We did find it awkward driving into Portamao, and having to park a short distance away. It was clear from the listing that this was the case, but it is awkward having to pull luggage through the street. We would stay here again for sure.

Jorge & Rosário’s place was just as the pictures showed! The apartment itself was clean and felt like home because it had everything that we could have needed. The second bathroom was a bonus. The view was STUNNING. It could not have been a better location - a short walk to Old Town Lagos and a stairwell away from Dona Ana. The snack bar at the pool was a good option mid day and the gentleman working there was friendly & we enjoyed seeing him daily. The pool itself is massive and very clean. The area felt safe , especially because the fire department was around the corner and we had to walk past it to go anywhere. The Ubers knew exactly where we were and the complex in general. Our stay was magical. Book this place immediately - the view alone is worth it!

good place close to the beach, parking, restaurants and on a side street so it's less noisy even if you get some of the late night noise. the place was spacious for 4 people and the balcony was great.

No words can describe this place!! Andrew and Tamarin’s apartment was absolutely stunning and lived up to the photos. The decor was stylish with a kitchen equipped with everything we needed. The apartment was spacious and clean with a gorgeous private patio. It is very central with access to everything…. restaurants, bars, shops and walking distance to the beach and the marina. The most perfect location. Whilst one of the bedrooms was a little noisy late at night, it only added to the atmosphere of this incredible apartment and experience of staying in Lagos! Andrew and Tamarin were very friendly and offered us so much advice before and during our stay. Favourite part was the old record player playing on our arrival…. and the beautiful hamper of local wine and pastries! Highly recommend.

We had an amazing experience! The apartment is cozy, just like in the pictures. The location is perfect, close to everything we needed: restaurants, markets, public transportation, beaches and other tourist attractions. Communication with the host was excellent, always attentive and available to answer our questions, as well as giving us great tips for places to visit. The flat is well-equipped, with all the items needed for a comfortable stay. The kitchen is also well equipped, which made our 2-month stay even more enjoyable. We will definitely return and recommend to everyone who is looking for a practical and super well located place to stay. Thank you very much for everything! :)

There were two of us with our 9-month-old baby in the accommodation. The place was super clean and so was the crib. Andy welcomed us very nicely and there were a few small drinks as a welcome gift. The pool was also great and from there you had great views of the place. It is also particularly noteworthy that the amenities, such as kitchen utensils, were absolutely top-notch. From sharp knives to washing machine and everyday things like olive oil, salt and pepper. The area was very quiet and that could be a small drawback. Because it is almost impossible to eat something on foot or to find a commercial supermarket.

We spent 5 nights at Rita's place and really loved it. Super nice house, perfectly equipped, great location and quiet area. The roof terrace overlooking the Atlantic was a great place to end the evening after a “strenuous” day on the beach. We really recommend the place to anyone! Thank you Rita :)

Can’t say enough good things about this place. It exceeded our expectations in every way. The location is amazing, the place itself is clean, cute, spacious and fun. Would absolutely stay here again.

Probably the loveliest and cutest holiday rental I have stayed in - actually wished we could have spend more down time in the flat, but there is just a lot to do in Algarve! Everything looks just like in the pictures and Carlos and Eileen have thought of everything guests might need. The highlight is definitely the green garden with the outdoor bathtub. The kitchen is also really well equipped. Carlos and Eileen provided an incredibly detailed virtual guide, which included instructions on how everything works in the flat (including video instructions on how to operate the coffee machine, blinds, etc), as well as loads of great recommendations for restaurants and activities in the area. The bed is up below the ceiling, so it does get a little bit hotter there than in the rest of the flat, but with the aircon (which worked well and pretty quietly) it's totally fine.

No review anyone could write could sum up why YOU needed to book this beautiful villa for your holiday. As we know, sometimes it’s also people that make the place. We can conclude that not only the villa was exactly what we needed but the welcome and nano second communication via text made us feel like we just knew this couple love making peoples experiences the best. Thanks again for everything.

Fantastic place! Ricardo and Priscilla were super helpful and always responded in a timely manner. They were very flexible with us which was very much appreciated. When in Portugal, I would love to come again!

Gerry’s beach house provides the best of both worlds. Three minute walk to incredible beaches and 5-7 minute walk to all the restaurants and cafes in Old Town Lagos. In addition to the location, the house is excellent and spotless. Modern everything with comfortable beds and a great kitchen. We had some travel logistics as well and Gerry was incredibly accommodating and helpful to ensure we had a great time in Lagos. Definitely book!

Exceptional location in Old Town Lagos! Sarah was incredibly communicative! As the description points out, there is no air conditioning, but Sarah gives pointers as to how to keep the place cool. Also, the entry stairs are a bit steep so be warned if you have large luggage. You’re literally minutes from restaurants and bars and there is an exceptional coffee shop just down the block. The place is a gem—felt very local!!

Maria was a great host and so helpful with anything requested. We had an issue with the lobby entrance of the building and she resolved this by communicating with the building management. We had a great time in the accomodation and felt relaxed for our week abroad with the children

Your place was really beautiful, and I appreciated the blackout blinds because the sun set late and sunrise was really early. We enjoyed our stay, and thank you for the guide book which showed beaches and the hop on hop of train ideas.

We arrived late after our flight was delayed and Rui was there waiting to check us in and show us around. Apartment in lovely location close to shops, restaurants and beach. We were there with 2 small kids and had great time. Rui was in contact during the week to make sure all was ok and very quick to reply to any questions. Had a fabulous week here would highly recommend.

The accommodation, hosts, and location were all like a dream—filled with love and beauty. The owners were incredibly kind and caring, always helpful while also respecting our privacy. Our whole family enjoyed every moment, from watching the golfers to driving through the orange groves, and having fun on the trampoline and in the pool. Everything was top-notch. If I had to search for a negative (and I really had to think hard to find one), it would be just the occasional thought of whether a golfer's ball might come flying our way! 😂

Amazing stay and great customer service and amazing stay, I would definitely recommend!

We stayed in Pedro's apartment for two weeks at the end of May. We were two adults and two children (4 & 1 years) and felt comfortable. Pedro was incredibly friendly, helped us with all our concerns and responded very quickly. The kitchen was very well equipped. Coffee, tea, oil, vinegar and a basic stock of spices were available, as well as dish soap, laundry detergent and dishwasher tabs. We had a good time, were completely satisfied and would be happy to come back!

Perfect stay at Joana place! The apartment is well located and easy to find parking outside on the street. The apartment felt spacious and everything was spotlessly clean. Linen and towels were good quality and really helpful to have some toiletries and kindly left a lovely Portuguese soap gift. The balcony and terrace being on opposite sides of the building is great as you get the sun at all times of the day! Kitchen was well equipped. I can’t think of anything negative to say, I loved it! Joana is a very kind and thoughtful host. Thank you for a wonderful stay!
