Nestled in open countryside and close to the historic village of Hurstpierpoint, The Loft is an ideal base to explore the walks and villages of the beautiful South Downs, Brighton, Hickstead, or as a stopover for Gatwick Airport. The space is in an historic watermill complex (Cobbs Mill) sleeping 2 (with an additional single sofa-bed if required). Outdoors there are plenty of gardens, and a purpose built petanque court. Footpaths lead directly from the property to open countryside.

Hi,we have a large,spacious,bright and airy bungalow which is all open plan and great for entertaining. There is also a conservatory which can be opened up into the garden which is south facing and views onto the Downs a short walk away. There is space for 2 cars in the drive and others right outside in the close. The kingsize room is ensuite with the double having its own bathroom across the hall. Easy access from the A27 and bus 5B into Brighton make this the perfect holiday home.

The holiday cottage is situated overlooking the moat of Newtimber Place, a beautiful 17th Century manor house within the South Downs National Park. It has extensive views of the Downs and is in a rural location, yet is within easy reach of Brighton and Hove (8 miles). Children and walkers welcome. Wooden cabin with fab views, private access and garden tucked away behind our cottage. Ideal for walkers/cyclists - just come down from the Southdowns Way when you get to the historic village of Fulking in the National Park - we're at the foot of the escarpment. Basic ingredients for breakfast/hot drinks provided for walkers. Wifi, TV, netflix, hot shower, comfy bed, excellent pub close by. Spectacular scenery and walks leading in all directions from the doorstep!

Our pod, tucked away near the Downs

Our timber clad garden pod is up-market glamping, with a view to the Downs. Close to Brighton, approached down a farm track, with a walk across fields to the village. On sunny days, open up the folding sliding doors and enjoy a drink on the decking. There are coffee and tea making facilities, but not for cooking. That’s why it’s only available for a few magical days at a time. (The wood burner pictured is not in use.) There is WiFi
