Little Lamb Lodge, Abergavenny

ClaireRating, 5 stars6 days ago
Wonderful! I didn’t want to leave… The lodge is very comfortable, well equipped and laid out and private. It was my dad’s first Airbnb and he wouldn’t stop going on about how impressive it was and how they’d thought of everything. I don’t think he’ll be going back to the Abergavenny Premier Inn. Deb and Wayne are delightful hosts, friendly and kind and will be happy to talk to you and let you feed their sheep, or just leave you to your privacy if that’s what you prefer. The location is peaceful, rural and beautiful while close to town and the golf course, if you like that sort of thing. I can’t wait to go back.

2 Bedroom house - quiet location & free parking

FionaRating, 5 stars1 week ago
We (3 adult friends) spent 3 nights at Stephanie’s place as a base for the Hay festival at end of May. It was about a 30 minute drive into the festival. We loved staying at Stephanie’s place. Very homely and we all slept very soundly. Onsite parking and the parking around the corner all made it very easy to get around. We didn’t do any cooking, but the provided tea and coffee was very welcome. Highlight was also the provided board games - we cracked open the Trivial Pursuit most nights. Stephanie is a great and responsive host. Loved our stay and can highly recommend!

Hendre-gau - Hidden gem

MarinaRating, 5 stars1 month ago
Nia and Wil were very quick to respond to any queries I had and were even kind enough to give us a lift into town! The house is even more beautiful than what we saw in the pictures and the beds were so comfy and clean. Everything worked so well and the place looked brand new. They also left us some welcome gifts which was so kind of them. A beautiful cottage I most definitely will be wanting to return when I can.

Brook Cottage

CraigRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
Brook cottage was a great base for all the walking and exploring we wanted to do in the area. The cottage had everything needed to relax in the evening and an excellent shower after a day of walking and a really comfortable bed. The road is busy as mentioned but didn't bother us, best advice is to reverse onto the parking space so it's easier to get out. The host always responded quickly with exactly what we needed but all the instructions were accurate and there's information at the cottage. Also nice to have a beer, Welsh cakes and teabags provided. overall we had a brilliant weekend with everything we needed. Thanks

Spacious apartment. Sleeps 2+2 (2 on a sofa bed).

TheadoraRating, 5 stars7 months ago
Sarah and Graeme were extremely efficient in their communication and instructions, they were so welcoming from the moment we arrived. The Air BnB was warm and cosy, with thoughtful touches like heated towel racks, bread, butter & marmalade, milk and coffee for the morning. The sofa bed was massive, easy to assemble and had a luxurious thick duvet. The Village was very peaceful, beautiful to walk around, we wish we could have stayed longer, particularly to see the much talked about waterfall and hiking trails. Although we stayed only one night, the rooms were perfect and had all the amenities that we needed on a chilly October night! Sarah and Graeme showed us the utmost kindness, generosity and went above and beyond in helping me when I got myself into a pickle. I would highly recommend spending a few days with Sarah and Graeme in Llanrhaeadr-ym-Mochnant, in fact, if you going somewhere else in Wales, make it a road trip and stop by to enjoy a dependable & cosy stay here.

It was a very comfortable place to stay and we cooked all our meals here so everything we needed was here. Ann gave us lots of places where we could do some nice walks and was very helpful throughout our stay. We would definitely come back again. Thank you for having us.
