Potten End is situated just outside the perimeter of Ashridge Estate, with the lovely town of Berkhamsted 5 minutes' drive away. The village has two pubs, a village store-cum-café, and Berkhamsted has many quality pubs and restaurants. The main house is lived in by Trevor, and Graham lives a few miles away. We are both keen cyclists and walkers and can offer guidance about the local area.

Little House - Amazing little gem indeed! We have thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the little house. As soon as the gates opened we were impressed and it didn’t stop once we entered the house either. The open plan kitchen / diner / lunge was great , as we visited as 3 couples so was great to have this space to spend our time together. Upstairs the bedrooms are quite big, and one ( as well as the bathroom) has impressive views of the surrounding fields. Beds are very comfortable, bedding and towels were great quality, every small detail from the loo rolls , hand wash to the amazing decor, selection of board games - the attention to detail in the little house is the best I’ve seen on Airbnb. We have also utilised the bbq on one of the days, outdoor seating which is secluded and to the side of the house was great. Our host Dean was very accommodating and helpful. Overall - we cannot fault anything at the little house. We hope to visit again and would highly recommend. Thank you

We stayed at this cottage with my parents and our 1 year old daughter, whilst visiting the Harry Potter Studio which was a short drive away! It was a really lovely cottage in a lovely area. The cottage had everything you needed and was clean and tidy. The bedrooms were cosy and beds very comfy. Paul was very helpful with my requests regarding the baby gates and cot, which made our stay with a 1 year old very easy! Highly recommend this cottage!

Listen!!! As someone who loves a big space, Liman’s place was the best. Not far from London and also not far from some parts of the country. This is a beautiful place, and Isabel was a great host. Communication was fast and the information provided was incredibly helpful. The house was comfortable and full of little luxuries. The kitchen is well-equipped. We enjoyed our stay, taking long walks in the woods and checking out the local village pubs. A much needed respite!
