Vacation rentals with a fire pit in Portslade, Brighton and Hove

We had such a lovely stay at Kate's. Her home is really beautiful, very welcoming and full of charm. It is in such a lovely area of Brighton and was very quiet and peaceful. Kate was easy to reach out to and very kind, she even left us croissants, which was a lovely surprise. Highly recommend.

We enjoyed our stay at Andy & Rosie's thanks to the great location and beautiful surroundings. We used it as a base for Goodwood, which was a short drive away. The local golf club being so close was also a bonus. The accommodation itself was well furnished and spacious and check in was made simple with the clear instructions and Andy's welcoming greeting on arrival.

Booked this beautiful house for a hen do and had an amazing time - the open space kitchen/diner is perfect for entertaining, very clean and tastefully decorated! Emma was so lovely and welcoming, the perfect host - she got us checked in quickly, showed us around and was very easy to reach for any questions. Would book this place again in a heartbeat!

This house was perfect for a family holiday especially with young children. The hosts kindly have lots of toys and games available in the house and a good play area in the kitchen diner, plus a selection in a very private and safe garden. Kitchen is well stocked with equipment, which is often lacking in airbnbs, so you can cook properly. location was also great, short walk to a big park with play ground and cafe(nice breakfast there too) and a bit further too hive lagoons with things to do for kids of all ages. We had a fabulous few days staying at Talita's stunning home. The house is more spacious than the photos suggest and the garden was lovely to relax in. The location worked well for us as a family, as we could relax in the house and walk to restaurants overlooking the sea. For more exciting activities located in Brighton, the buses were a short walk away and frequent and convenient. One tip I would suggest is booking a private parking space so you don't have to worry about paying and moving the car. Transport is easy to use and takes the stress out of travelling. Hopefully we will be able to return one day!

We had a great stay at Tanya's place. The house was exactly what we needed for our annual get away. Lovely communal space and garden. Short walk to lovely cafes and very acessible to Brighton. Thank you for a great stay!

We loved our stay at Chris’s place. Very cosy cottage with all the amenities you could need. Also delicious scones on arrival! We had a very peaceful and relaxing stay.

Perfect location for our needs. Homely welcome of fresh home made bread, with butter and milk....and treats for our dog.. Really well maintained and furnished to high standard. Clean, well appointed and good size rooms throughout. Easy parking. Welcoming hosts

We had a really relaxing and comfortable stay at Annemarie’s place. The rooms were all perfectly clean and very homely. She made us feel so welcome with the thoughtful supplies provided. Overall a lovely stay and would definitely recommend to anyone looking to unwind in peace and quiet.

Great location, walkable distance to the station, to town, to amenities etc. We had everything we needed. The beds were comfortable, the house was very clean. The place is exactly like on the pictures. The shower room is on the small size but the shower jet is strong enough to make up for it. We were only there for 3 days, we didn't cook and didn't need parking so I can't comment on that. I would happily book the same house again.

My daughter and I had a lovely stay at The Old Cooks House. It was cosy, clean and comfortable. The beds were great and we both slept well on all nights. Jackie had left a plethora of goodies for us for breakfast and snacking and she was really helpful in guiding us to places to eat out. It was a lovely break.

We needed somewhere to stay while finding a place to live in London. The flat was excellent and well equipped for our needs. Great place to stay.

This is a lovely and comfortable place to stay set in superb countryside. The gardens and facilities are great, and my son and I particularly enjoyed playing on the pool table. It’s definitely a place to revisit and we would recommend it 100 percent.

Worth every penny! We stayed here for 5 weeks while I did my cabin crew training at the CAE. Beautiful property just like the photos, squeaky clean, private and everything we needed to make it home!! Sarah is super responsive and helpful in every way. Clean linen and towels every week as promised, bed linen was so soft!! Brighton is a 20 minute drive & great for the weekends.. Sarah gave us lots of great recommendations, which we loved! Thank you so much again Sarah, you are a beautiful person inside and out!! Xx

we were lucky to stumble across this gem due to a last minute cancellation. it was exactly what we were hoping for and more. the location, the cabin, the surroundings were magical and the break from reality we so needed. thank you so much Clare for all your help and for allowing us to see your part of the world in such a perfect way. I'm sure we will be back one day xxx

My wife and I stayed four nights at Oak Tree Retreat In June. It is a lovely place. It is obvious that a lot of work and care has gone into making this a relaxing and comfortable place to stay. Our hosts, Alexia & James, were very friendly and helpful. The gifts of bread, biscuits, hot chocolate and marshmallows on arrival were a generous touch and much appreciated. The bed was extremely comfortable. The cabin had all we needed for our stay during which we mainly self-catered. The cooking arrangements were great. The absolute highlight was the hot tub which we enjoyed for three of our four nights! There is lovely walking country within a five minute drive from the Cabin. Local shops and food outlets are close by. I would certainly recommend Oak Tree Retreat to anyone.

Had a really lovely stay here! Would 100% recommend! We were really lucky with the weather. The views are stunning of the lake and the fields! We had a few furry friends come and say hello. If you’re not an animal lover they are very chill and leave you alone if you wish. The lodge itself was clean and tidy and very modern. It had all the basic kitchen wear and towels were provided! If you have hayfever bring ur own tissues! I always do as mines bad this time of year. There’s a lovely walk around the lake that you can do. Close to shops/petrol station. Shower was great. Bath was great. No shortage of warm water. BBQ and fire pit are a huge asset to the place and we absolutely loved the swing. We felt safe at night and plenty of windows for the warm weather. We paid for logs coal and early and late check in/out. All worth the money in my opinion! They have a spot by the lake where you can sit on sun beds! Very very relaxing! The owners were lovely and friendly and replied very quickly!

This is a beautiful gem of a place and extremely good value. The garden house is cosy and yet supremely functional. It has been well thought out. The kitchen is excellent with a gas stove, two ovens and an air fryer. There is an electric shower and large screen TV. The beds are very comfortable and up in the roof creating a very snug place for rest. I loved the place and will be back.

We had such a great stay at the cabin. It’s so secluded and peaceful. We particularly enjoyed sitting by the fire pit under the stars with our dog. The bed was big and comfy and Nick was a communicative host. We’ll definitely be back.

Absolutely brilliant Air BnB. Great location to visit Eastbourne, Brighton, Rye, Wakehurst etc though the track to it is pretty bumpy so not ideal if you are going out several times a day. However, we went out in the morning & back in the evening & it’s so quiet & peaceful when you are there, it didn’t bother us. Accommodation was exactly like the photos & was so well stocked e.g. welcome basket, milk, dish washer tablets, biscuits etc & they saved our bacon because we forgot dog bowls but there they were in the cupboard; absolutely brilliant 🤩 Extremely clean & beautifully decorated throughout with shampoo & shower gel included. Was made to feel really welcome & our little westie, Minnie, thoroughly enjoyed her week away as well. Probably one of the best Air BnBs we have ever stayed in. Will definitely return when we next visit Sussex 😊😊

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the cabin over the Easter weekend. Groombridge is a lovely, tucked away area and the cabin feels very remote and peaceful. Christopher made us feel very at home and I cannot recommend the pizza more! Perfect dough recipe. Comfortable sleeping and spacious for 7. Highly recommend ⭐️

Had a lovely stay. The accommodation was great as was the peaceful woodland which it overlooks. We enjoyed sitting next to the fire pit in the evenings and as well as waking up to see wildlife right outside our window. I would recommend it to others looking for a peaceful get away.
