We are very close to Portobello, Edinburgh’s seaside and 20 minutes from the city centre, making it an ideal location to explore the beautiful city of Edinburgh and the East Lothian countryside. An ideal base for couples & families, close to Holyrood Park, Arthur’s Seat and with lots of lovely bars & restaurants within walking distance. We welcome well behaved dogs, kids & their owners!

Bright, airy 2-bed in Portobello. Open kitchen/living room. Perfect for a beach visit in this spacious and relaxed space. 🌊🌅 2 minute walk to the beach! No curtains or blinds in the living room area (blinds in both bedrooms) in case this is an issue for you! 😊 The smaller bedroom has a curtain on a rail for privacy. No bannister in the communal stair (around 15 stairs). The 26 bus runs day and night to and from the city centre. Free parking. Towels provided! 😊

King's Road - Seaside Retreat 15 Minutes to Centre

Our Scandi inspired apartment is perfect for a couple. We are lucky to enough to be right beside the sea and Portobello Beach but have great transport links to the City Centre so you can be at Edinburgh’s famous sites such as Edinburgh Castle, The Royal Mile, Grassmarket and Princes Street in 15 minutes. There is free street parking which is rare in Edinburgh although we suggest using the excellent Edinburgh transport system to get into town.

Annexe Apartment. Extended & Converted Garage

New conversion 2 minute walk to Brunstane train station then a 7 minute journey to Edinburgh Waverley city centre, trains are every 30 minutes into town. Great Lothian Regional Transport (LRT) buses nearby as well. A lovely 20 minute walk into Portobello for loads of bars and restaurants plus the bonus of being right next to the beach. About 30 minutes drive to some of the most beautiful golf courses in Scotland.

We really enjoyed our long weekend stay in Portobello. The flat is very conveniently located for exploring the beach and there are regular buses from the top of the road to travel further. The place was lovely, had plenty of space, everything that we needed in terms of kitchen stuff and general facilities. Also Tony was very helpful in organising an extra night and in answering some questions we had before going. Overall would recommend and would hope to come back again in future.

Portobello Charming Seaside 3-BR Holiday Apartment

The location of this apartment is absolutely perfect. Walking to the beach and to 2 fantastic coffee / breakfast restaurants takes about 1 minute. Also close - a little grocery store, some attractive shops, and at least one pub! You can get buses directly to Edinburgh or the many nearby towns. Excellent bedding here, two bathrooms (one tub, one shower) is a real bonus. We cooked twice - kitchen is not equipped for prepping a big dinner, but all set for simple meals. The living area is nice and spacious. A bucket of plastic beach toys at the door is a thoughtful touch. If I had one suggestion for the host, it would be to upgrade the window coverings so that the lovely and cheerful “shabby chic” beach vibe doesn’t start to lean too far into the “shabby” side. I would happily return to this place, and would recommend it to anyone seeking a comfortable and homey getaway.

Emily’s apartment is in a wonderful location along the promenade, the views are spectacular, and it was so easy to get a bus or taxi into town. Her place was pristine, beautifully decorated and she included some lovely little treats and super helpful instructions. It made my stay for the Edinburgh Marathon festival a really special trip! Thank you :)

only able to say good things. great location, quiet, lovely interior and right at the beach. on arrival a folder with instructions for everything in the flat was waiting on us, also with recommendations for restaurants. place was spotless and exactly as described. 10/10 stay. big thanks to jeni for the wonderful stay
