House vacation rentals in Porto d'Ulisse

Geweldig huis met prachtig uitzicht op zee. Ruim genoeg voor ons gezelschap van 6 volwassenen en 4 kinderen, met grote woonkamer, fijne keuken met grote eettafel en meer dan genoeg slaapkamers en badkamers. Fantastische tuin met zwembad, al is het zwembad onverwarmd en toen wij er waren in april net te koud om er aangenaam in te kunnen zwemmen. De uitrusting van de keuken was prima in orde, maar ik vond het fornuis en de oven aan de kleine kant voor de hoeveelheid personen waarop het huis berekend is. Koken voor 10 personen was een uitdaging, meerdere grote pannen pasten eigenlijk niet op het fornuis. De omgeving van het huis is wel wat afgelegen, een auto is een must om ergens te komen. Patrizio is een fijne host, reageerde snel en hielp ons waar nodig. Al met al hebben we een heerlijk verblijf gehad en raden we dit huis zeker aan!

Abbiamo apprezzato molto il nostro soggiorno la scorsa settimana. La casa era incredibile e aveva una vista sull'Etna, Castelmora e sul mare. I padroni di casa ci hanno dato alcuni buoni suggerimenti su ristoranti e cose da fare. Ci tornerei sicuramente in questa casa se dovessi tornare.

Wij waren op doorreis en voor ons was dit een heerlijk "Tiny house" in een mooie en rustige omgeving. Wat echt heerlijk was, was het zwembad waar we direct gebruik van hebben gemaakt na een heerlijke tourrit door Sicilië. En wat een gastvrije ontvangst. De host stond ons op te wachten en in het huis stond iets lekkers voor ons klaar. De host wilde ons zelfs helpen met de koffers naar het huis brengen. De host reageert snel op vragen en is ten alle tijde bereid je te helpen en te adviseren. Voor ons dus een TOP ervaring.

Le logement était parfait, l’espace est même plus spacieux que ce qu’il en paraît sur les photos. Chambres très agréables et la salle de bain parentale est superbe. La vue est à couper le souffle! Deux terrasses qui donnent une vue directe sur l’Etna et la ville. Quel plaisir un petit déjeuner avec une telle vue! La piscine est très agréable et les transats/fauteuils de jardin sont très confortables. Notez que l’accès à la piscine n’est autorisé que jusque 18h30. Les hôtes habitent au rez de chaussée de la maison mais restent très discrets. La cuisine était très bien équipée. En bonus des petites attentions pour nous, comme du pain, des confitures, du nutella, des petits gâteau et des boissons rafraîchissantes à notre arrivée. Nous nous sommes sentis comme à la maison et reviendrons sans hésitation si nous revenons dans la région 👍🌸🙃🤩

Gorgeous house, excellent location, and such gracious hosts! Daniele and his parents were both lovely. The space is clean and has everything we needed. The pool is the perfect afternoon relaxing spot. It’s well kept and very clean, which we can only imagine a huge feat considering the volcanic ashes! We also went up Mt Etna with Daniele. He’s a great guide as well! Overall 10/10 recommend.

Melania è stata gentile e disponibile da subito. La casa è super carina e comoda. Immersa nel parco naturale, vicina alle gole dell'Alcantara. Tranquilla e rilassante ma comunque non distante al centro abitato. La famiglia di Melania, che abita al piano di sotto, si è resa disponibile per qualsiasi cosa. Torneremo molto volentieri e lo consiglierò ad amici.

We loved our stay at Katia’s and Ricardo’s. They were so welcoming and accommodating, just as many of the other reviews have said. We had thunder storms the first day, and as my son had a broken arm and couldn’t get his cast wet they kindly let us check in early which really helped us. The apartment itself is really clean, equipt with everything you need. The garden space is just beautiful, the views, the fruit trees, the pool and hot tub! We really appreciated that space and was great for the children. You do need a car to get around, but they have a gated drive so you could park safely. They is so much to do in the surrounding area. We spent most of our time in Taormina, it was our favourite place. We also went to mount etna which our kids loved. If you have any questions Katia is very helpful, and very quick to respond. I would highly recommend for families or couples

We had a lovely stay at Michele’s place. The accommodation was clean, spacious and comfortable with everything we needed. The large outdoor space made our holiday really special. Michele keeps the garden beautifully neat and tidy, and the surrounding area is very peaceful, so it was a pleasure to spend time outside. We had lots of fun in the swimming pool, although it was a bit on the cool side when we were there at the end of May. The little terrace area was a real sun trap, so ideal for sun bathing and warming up after a dip. The lawn is shaded by beautiful mature trees, which must be lovely in the hotter months. The property is close to Etna National Park and as well as doing a guided trip up Etna, we had some lovely hikes in the foothills and lower slopes of the mountain. (I downloaded the AllTrails app to find local walks). Michele was a very considerate host and always ready to help with anything we needed. All in all, it is one of the best properties we have stayed in.

This was such a lovely and relaxing place. The outside space with the patios was amazing. There’s plenty of space indoors with a well equipped kitchen and I loved that the bedrooms are downstairs so you don’t have to bring the luggage upstairs. It was an easy drive to visit Taormina and Sergio was nothing but helpful with tips of where to park and places to eat. We would definitely return!

The apartment was very clean and comfortable. Biagina was quick to respond and accommodate our last minute needs. The apartment we were supposed to rent (not an Airbnb) was not suitable so we needed a place right away. We are grateful to Biagina for working with us and providing such a lovely place to stay.

Wij hebben een fijne tijd gehad in het appartement van Marco! Het zit in een leuk straatje met restaurantjes, waar je ook vanaf het balkon op neer kijkt. Het appartement was schoon! Er was een airco, waardoor het lekker koel was in de kamer. Het enige minpuntje voor ons, was dat wij niet wisten dat het gebouw geen lift heeft. Hierdoor moesten wij met onze koffers via de trap naar de 5e etage… Verder was het appartement zelf perfect en hebben wij een hele leuke tijd gehad!

Otrolig utsikt. Otrolig liten by 5 minuters promenad bort, utsikt över berg och havet. Fullständigt magnifikt, fick inte nog. Bil ett måste men enkelt att hitta överallt, rekommenderar sunkisses beach club där det var enkelt att parkera bilen. Byn precis ovanför hade allt man kan önska sig, sparsamt med restauranger men räckte gott och väl. Fanns även en liten butik, med betoning på liten. Värden var väldigt tillmötesgående och enkel att ha och göra med. Väldigt lugnt och vilsamt boende, som själen mådde gott av. Vi var en dag i Taormina men längtade tillbaka till lugnet i Forza di Agro.

La Casitas es muy ordinada no es para personas que tienes disbilitad porque el asea esta al piso primo con una escalera un poquito empinada. Teneba todos para cocinar, wifi. La unica cosa que no tenea es un televisor. Muy importante todas las ventanas tenean mosquitero

From the scent of Jasmine, as you enter the gate, it feels like a little Eden to come to Villa Mediterranea. Alessia and Adelio were there to greet us with smiles. Alessia plucked blood oranges, lemons, and clementines from the trees on the terrace to provide a refreshment at our arrival. This was such an amazing touch. But only the first of many during our stay. The views from the patio are just breathtaking. Perched high in a cliff top just north of Taormina center, we had a view out to the sea and to the misty mountains of the Italian mainland beyond. It is a magical place. Alessia, Adelfio, and Enza checked in with us often and provided great suggestions for things to do while we were there. The Villa is just a short 10 minute walk from the city center, but also feels a world away in its contained beauty and privacy. The pool is wonderful. It is a pleasure to lounge by it in the warm sun and then take refreshing dips to cool off. We loved this place and highly recommend it

If you’re looking for an apartment in the heart of so many restaurants, markets and fish market, this is the place for you. We had some friends with us and ended up renting both of the apartments. Made it super convenient. The apartment seemed like it was in the ideal location as it didn’t matter which way we walked, there was always something cool to see or do. If you’re renting a car, just know the place is about 15-20 walk away. Not a big deal at all as we ate so much we had to get the extra steps in anyway, so no problem. Stefy recommended the parking to us and it was 20 euro a day for a private lot. From what it sounds like, you may want that type of parking in Catania. The Piazza Del Duomo is about 100 yards away along with the fish market and about 100+ places to find something to eat. The bus and train station are about a 20 minute easy walk away along with the very cool WW2 museum. Only - we noticed was a restaurant and their bumping music until about 1230. Wear earplugs.

A cozy appartment very close to the main train station in Catania. Great location if you want to explore the city or use as a base to venture into Sicily due to the close proximity of the train / bus station. Salvatore is an awesome host that answered all the questions i had and the some. He also picked me up from the airport! The appartment itself is clean and well furnished, with a full kitchen, clean bathroom and a comfortable bed. I highly recommend Salvatore's appartment for anyone that wants to visit Catania and it's surroundings.

Salvatore est un super hôte. Il nous a accueilli au parking. Puis nous a accompagné jusqu’à l’appartement et expliqué le fonctionnement. Il nous a procuré des serviettes de plage à notre demande ainsi que des cuillères en bois pour la cuisine. Salvatore est très accueillant et a répondu rapidement à nos questions. C’est un excellent Airbnb, et de Acireale on peut bien visiter toute la région. La terrasse de l’appartement est agréable. Le quartier est très tranquille. Le parking est un plus. Je conseille vivement cet Airbnb.

Unser Aufenthalt war wirklich toll. Die Wohnung ist super, sehr sauber, toll gelegen. Wir haben uns direkt wohl gefühlt. Demetra war immer direkt zu erreichen. Der Kontakt war sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Wir empfehlen die Unterkunft herzlich weiter! Dankeschön, Demetra!

Daniele's apartment is at the far end of the Naxos bay a ten minute walk from the hussle and bussle of the beaches and beach side restaurants/traffic. It sits between a couple of small, independent hotels but for us, in mid-June, was very quiet and peaceful, and with a beautiful setting overlooking well kept gardens and the sea. Not much else to add to the other positive reviews.....it's a great, well-appointed, private and quiet apartment and not a bad place from which to explore the Messina region if you have a car. We certainly recommend!

Wir waren mit unserem Aufenthalt sehr zufrieden. Alessandro war sehr kommunikativ, beim Check-in, bei Problemen, beim Transfer unserer Tochter zum Flughafen. Die kleine Terrasse haben wir sehr genossen, ist sie doch gefühlt fast direkt am Meer. Wir können die Wohnung nur weiter empfehlen. Volker und Iris

We stayed there for a week, visiting all the nice nearby places, after which we could enjoy a nice afternoon of rest at this place. A great place to chill, enjoy the beautiful scenery and garden. The house itself was very beautiful, clean, had everything needed, and on top of that the host was very helpful and responsive. Thank you for the great time!

The place was very spacious and in a pretty good location for some tourist attractions. Angela was very helpful and clear in providing information, and she gave us a lot of recommendations for traveling around Catania. I would recommend it if you don’t mind a bit of noise from the upstairs neighbors, although it wasn’t a problem during sleeping hours.
