The apartment is really great. Very clean, very well-equipped, super clean Coffee, tea and cakes available. Cleaning is done daily. Really impeccable and no complaints

Our host was literally the perfect host… kind, welcoming, generous, and incredibly attentive to every little detail. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with the warmest welcome, including delicious cake that his wife made and pastel de nata, such a thoughtful and generous gesture that made us feel instantly at home! The place itself is without a doubt is beautifully arranged, super clean, with a lovely scent that instantly made it feel like home. You can tell a lot of thought and heart went into preparing it for guests, and we even had Netflix ready for us to use, which was such a nice bonus. I wish them all the best! We couldn’t have asked for a better stay!

What can I say - from start to finish we had a great time at Aqua Villa Madalena. Our purpose for coming here was to attend Rally Portugal. The apartment was central to where we needed to go to see the stages of the Rally. Apart from this, the apartment was exceptional - so clean. Sonia as a host was so responsive and always available when needed ( which I hope wasn't too often for her!) Our children really enjoyed the pool, the place was so peaceful and quiet! An all-round fantastic holiday! Thank you so much Sonia and family!!! Hopefully we will visit again another time!

The apartment is clean , spacious and tidy. The decor is neat. It is very easy to park. A shopping mall 200m away is a plus. We had a great stay

We are a family with 2 children and we loved the space, both the interior, which was extremely tidy, clean and cared for, and the exterior, where in addition to the pool with pleasant colors, there is a huge garden, children's space, living space for games and barbecue. I loved the old machine with all the 80s and 90s games completely free, as well as the projector connected to the TV and Net account that we could use to play movies. Thanks for a great stay.

This has probably been the been AirBnB I have ever stayed in. The new house built on top of an ancient mill is really special and very welcoming with great attention to detail, the host was extremely welcoming and attentive to our requests and the location of the house allowed both for sightseeing in Guimaraes and Braga, as well as for excursions to the mountains and the sea side. We stayed for a week and the longer we stayed the more we appreciated our living environment in the middle of a flowing river stream.

Amazing property and view. We had a terrific time. The property worked great for our group. Best sunset! Marco and his crew were extremely responsive. Driving in the Douro Valley is not for the faint of heart. We had a ball!

Had a great stay at this property, it's rustic yet modern character allowed for a very relaxing stay. The views from the pool and bbq area are better than expected. The location is ideal, about 45 mins from the airport by car. I would recommend this stay to anyone.

It's a very nice design house and practically brand new. Overlooking the river and the mountains. Beside the house runs a trail along the Tamega river. We take it in the direction of Amarante to the left and arrive at a fluvial beach where we share bathroom with the trout and at a comfortable temperature. I recommend visiting Amarante at night. The house has a good location for visiting Porto and Braga. And also Aveiro and Costa Nova. The host, Sara , was excellent.
