Family friendly stay

John and Mary were so lovely and welcoming! The room was very clean and the perfect amount of space for the two nights we were there. They gave us a breakfast which was perfect, and answered any questions that we had about Portlaoise! Portlaoise is a quiet town and it’s hard to find things to do if you don’t have a car, but our stay was great! John and Mary were wonderful and I would highly recommend this place to anyone passing through Portlaoise!

Stylish comfortable, quiet well located new home “

RichardRating, 5 stars1 month ago
I stayed at Fiona's place for one night on a cycling trip. Due to her work commitments that particular day a self check in was needed . This was very straightforward due to the extensive instructions provided. The room was very nice and very comfortable and the dedicated bathroom was very nice too. Both the bedroom and bathroom were immaculately presented. It was great to meet Fiona when she got back. Fiona was very responsive to messages in the run up to, and during my stay. All in all a great, comfortable stay. Just what I needed after a hard day's cycling in the hills, with the prospect of another one the next day.
A countertop features a sleek kettle alongside a French press and two patterned mugs. A glass carafe filled with water sits nearby, while a potted plant adds a touch of greenery to the setting on a dark stone surface.
