Dog friendly and a hit with ramblers and those who enjoy messing about in boats, as the cottage is situated close to the western side of Derwentwater lake and also to fantastic fells and mountains. Wonderfully located in the north of the Lake District National Park.

Additional capacity via futon sofa, and large garage converted to equipment room.

We are dog friendly. Our 250 year old cottage features modern rustic decor, u/f heating, log burner, super-fast internet, Smart TV, Sonos sound system and a complimentary podPoint 7kw EV charger. There are many wonderful walks and bike rides available from the front door. Stays start Mondays or Fridays.

A modern, self-contained, dog-friendly retreat tucked away in Thornthwaite just 5 minutes from Keswick, overlooking Comb Beck. Sleeps 2 adults (with a sofa-bed for 2 more) and welcomes up to 2 dogs. Located at the foot of Whinlatter Forest, the Michelin-starred The Cottage in the Wood nearby. You can walk from your door onto the fells or relax in the garden to birdsong, waterfalls and red squirrels.

Morven Cottage is a two bedroom holiday cottage within 5 minutes walk of Keswick town centre with private parking and an outdoor patio area. The warm and comfortable accommodation sleeps up to four guests (plus a cot) and was recently extensively refurbished. Changeover days are typically Monday and Friday. One or two well-behaved dogs (restricted to downstairs and not allowed on the furniture) are welcome. Smoking is not permitted in the cottage. 10% discount for full week bookings.
