Tarujärven mökki

Log cabin approx. 80m2, upstairs sleeping area divided into two parts, one with a wide double bed, balcony and the other with a slightly smaller double bed and a fold-out bed. The upstairs sleeping area can accommodate 6 people. Downstairs there is an open kitchen/living room. Access to the sauna from the terrace, the sauna has a wood-fired stove with a water tank. The water used for washing must be prepared by yourself (no shower). The toilet (outdoor toilet) and the wooden toilet are in another building.

Tämä uniikki erämökki tarjoaa rauhaa, marjastamisen, sienestämisen ja lupien kanssa kalastuksen sekä metsästyksen. Erämökki sijaitsee lammen ja joen rannalla. Mökin pihaan saavutaan joen yli siltaa pitkin. Mökille ei tule sähköjä. Mökissä on puukamina/kaasuliesi jossa on ruuanlaitto mahdollisuus. Valaistuksena toimivat lyhdyt ja kyntteliköt. Pihapiirissä on tulisija sekä sauna, josta on jokeen matkaa 40 cm.

Our home is a new family house on the riverside of the Kemijoki, 12 km from Rovaniemi. The house is in a scenic and spacious yard. We have all modern facilities. The house has automatic heating and air conditioning. Sauna, bathroom, free WIFI, washer/dryer, dishwasher, induction stove/oven, fireplace, etc. We have a large terrace facing the river. There is an open garage with a socket for the winter motor heating. House is excellent for families with children to enjoy different activities.

Charming cottage with all the amenities on a large plot. The distance to the center of Rovaniemi is only about 25 km. The distance to Santa Claus Village or the airport is also about 25 km. No public transport. The roads are well maintained even in winter. The cottage is easy to get to. If you wish, transportation can be arranged by Mercedes Benz Vito car for an additional fee. Supermarket, bus station, and train station within walking distance. There's a free parking along Karhunkaatajantie. You can also park to the in yard for 3 hours with a parking disc. Experience our unique Aurora igloo. Clamping near the city centre but still next to the forest. See and feel the frost around you but enjoy the warmness of the real fire and down blanket. Enjoy Lapland! We have only one igloo in our garden and it is one of a kind! You may also use the garden around for winter fun activities. We have sledges and shuffles for your use. There is no jacuzzi/hot tub or sauna available in this accommodation I am afraid.

Welcome to the middle of nature to enjoy the cozy atmosphere of a log cabin. This holiday home, built in 2013, is located only about a 30-minute drive from the center of Rovaniemi and Santa Claus Village. The cabin has two bedrooms, a living room, a kitchen, a fireplace, and a wood-fired sauna where you can experience the Finnish sauna culture. There is also a private lean-to (laavu) on the premises.
