Cradle Mountain House, restored house on 100 acres

Our place is near Cradle Mountain National Park, on 100 acres with a creek (with platypus), natural springs and native alpine rainforest. The landscape is incredibly beautiful, with an abundance of wildlife and serenity. The house is one of the only properties in this area where one can self-cater. It suits two couples or a small group or family unit. One room has a double and two single beds, the other has a queen bed, as well as a short daybed with trundle that could sleep two small children

My place has a great view over the city in a quite and safe neighbourhood. It is close to the cataract gorge which is great for walks, coffee, restaurant, dinning, swimming and childrens play ground. It It is approximately 20 mins car drive from Launceston airport and 5 minutes into the centre of town. West Launceston is hilly so a car is recommended. The apartment, which is located under my private residents, provides a comfortable space with all home comforts peace, quite and privacy.

15 minute walk to Deloraine Township, river and eateries, 40 min.to Launceston & Devonport, 1.5hrs to Cradle Mountain. Built in 1875 this cottage has several internal steps which may not be suitable for everyone. Renovated in 2015 a few walls have been moved, & a few luxuries added, to compliment the cottage there is magnificent views, & with views there must be hills.
