Cottage vacation rentals in Port Perry

This was our second time staying at Jamie’s cottage and it was just as wonderful as the first time. It is such a beautiful location and the cottage is warm and cozy with the amazing fireplace. It was a perfect spot to watch all the snow fall gently out the big windows, looking out over the river. So peaceful! We ended up having to leave early and it made us all so sad, especially our kids, so we’ve already mentally made plans to go back next winter. Jamie was super communicative and we really just enjoyed our time so much.

This was our third year staying at Paul’s beautiful spot on the river. As a group of seven seniors this spot is extremely suitable for our needs to be on one level. A perfect place for a larger group. Thank you Paul for letting us enjoy your clean, easily accessible home for our holidays. Hopefully see you next year.

We stayed at the North COTTAGE for a ladies work trip to Peterborough. Everything was as listed, and this was one of the cleanest Airbnbs I have stayed in! We really loved the coffee bar, and the morning view was beautiful. The hot tub and pool were very clean and great to use after a long day of training. Thanks for a pleasant stay, Mike!

The home was super clean and had all the amenities we needed, and more! Location was fantastic and the host was super responsive and proactive in her communication! We would love to come back soon!!

We had a great stay at Amigo! The house was spotless upon arrival, the hot tub was on and functioning and the kitchen was well stocked with everything you would need, including a Nespresso machine. The provided firewood was a nice touch as our campfire made for a memorable evening! There was ample space for 12 adults with clean bedding and towels provided. Would highly recommend to any large group looking for a weekend getaway on the lake.

We have booked twice at this place and we just love it . There’s too much to do and the house is beautiful.

Our stay at Bala’s place was a fantastic experience. We were a group of 8 including 4 tween aged children. The cottage is very well located , close to Port Perry and around 45 min to Peterborough. Lots of places to visit within the Trent Severn Waterway area. Bala graciously allow us an early check-in. His place is very cute, neat, super clean and had everything we needed to prepare meals and to entertain both children and adults alike. The game room is a great addition to the cottage. Walking distance to Lake Scugog, we were able to have nice walks after a delicious BBQ dinner. The deck and the fire pit allowed us to share quality family time while enjoying nature at its best. Thank you Bala for such a warm welcome with popcorn and soda !!. We appreciated very much your always friendly and promptly response to our needs. I will definitely recommend anyone to have a great and relaxing experience at your cottage. It is worth it !

(This review was written by my wife, Tami) As we drove up the secluded lane that led into the enchanted forest we knew that we had found a gem.The cottage was charming & spotless with a huge deck that set high up in the trees. The sauna & hot tub provided pure relaxation at the end of our days. The dock was huge with comfortable seating, we even had 2 loons gliding by each day! We hiked to waterfalls, fished & took the canoe for a paddle. Our pups loved our daily adventures! Mark was the perfect host & easy to contact if needed. I enjoyed sitting in the muskoka chairs on top of the boathouse listening to the sounds of the water and the wind in the trees while reading a book. What a beautiful spot to watch the setting sun!

My husband and I stayed at Alan and Rosalie’s place for our honeymoon with our pup Phoebe. We had the best time ever. The photos don’t even do this place justice. It really is a little slice of heaven. So private and surrounded by nature. We enjoyed going on walks through the various trails that are well maintained and relaxing on the dock. We will most definitely be back to visit! Alan and Rosalie were also very welcoming and responsive!

This cottage was amazing. The place was entirely as described and the prior reviews were spot on. Roxana was very helpful, gave tons of recommendations and was very kind and responsive. Kitchen was well stocked, the beds were super comfortable, the AC was perfect and I literally can’t think of a single critique. A really nice touch with the s’mores station that my kid basically ate all of. We will definitely be back!!

We especially appreciated his flexibility with our additional requests, which made our stay even more comfortable. This was our second time staying at Patrick's place and it was just as incredible as the first time. Whether you're hanging out on the patio that overlooks the lake, doing a campfire under the stars, or hanging out indoors and enjoying the modern basement, Patrick's place has something for everyone!

Accommodation was exactly as shown and described with added squirrels and chipmunks dashing around outside! Fab place in a fab location, close to a fab freshwater lake and fab bar at the end of the road.

The host was very responsive and answers all our questions well. The self-checkin instruction was very clear. We also had an early check-in at 12 PM, which was very convenient for our trip. The place has a great view and very stylish furnitures. We enjoyed the dock and sitting near the campfire.

What a great place! We had 11 people. 6 adults and 5 children. There were beds for everyone and because the weather was crap (totally not Byron’s fault - LOL) we were inside most of the weekend. There was enough space and internet bandwidth to keep everyone happy and engaged! Everything was comfortable and the kitchen had everything we needed! Hope to rent this next year for family fun weekend!

What a beautiful waterfront cottage! Navid has been very responsive and accommodating of every requests and the cottage was very clean and organized. The view was amazing and had everything you need!

A great place for a lovely stay! It was an enjoyable time out of Toronto while still being close to home. The fire pit was especially nice, once we figured out to press it in. Highly recommended for a small group or family. Bita also provided a lovely welcome on our arrival ^^
