We had a wonderful 3 night stay in Normandy! The photos don’t do Katrine’s house justice. The accommodations were beautiful, spacious, clean, and comfortable. One of the best Air bnb stays we’ve had! Katrine was so friendly! Would highly recommend and will definitely stay here again.

A hidden gem on the Normandy coast. Close to the museums and D-day beaches. A number of free places to visit near the property in walkable distances. Port-en-Bessin a 5 min drive away with lots of lovely shops - the bolangerie was awesome! The house itself is extremely well done. The photographs do not do it justice. It was the loveliest holiday home we have stayed in. Will visit again!

We had an amazing stay with our young baby at Samuelle's place. The converted farmhouse building has a lot of character but was also modern and comfortable. The lake and ducks outside the door was very relaxing. The location is very quiet and peaceful. A car is essential for getting to local amenities but a large supermarket and a bakery are only a 5 minute drive away. The D Day landing beaches, museums and historic town of Bayeux can be reached within an easy 20 minute drive. Samuelle was a great host, she was very friendly and always able to help with any questions.

Very good stay, we enjoyed this accommodation in Port en Bessin where we had access to everything to walk or shop and this town is particularly attractive, beautiful landscape, beautiful walk. All the comforts in the house for our well-being, pure happiness. Thank you.

Great location if you are driving and want to visit the Normandy beaches. The house is exceptional and the kitchen facilities are superb. Will definitely be back.

Wonderful stay and highly recommended. Julie’s place was as advertised: clean, comfortable, very well-equipped. The location was ideal, with many restaurants and shops within an easy walk near the harbor. Normandy historical sites were a short drive.

We had a great stay with our kids and dog. Everything was so welcoming and the area is absolutely stunning. Aline ensured all questions were answered before I had even thought to ask them. House was well maintained and everything was easily found. Highly recommend

As others have mentioned this is an excellent holiday flat and superb base from which to explore Normandy and the beautiful city of Caen. The flat is clean, comfortable and is very well equipped for self-catering though the nearby town center bars and restaurants may tempt you out at little more that you planned. Highlights include secure and convenient parking, excellent bathroom and shower, comfortable bed and the bonus of a lovely private garden to kick back while sampling the local calvados in the evening. As mentioned the flat is very central with a five minute walk into the center for fresh bread and croissants in the morning. Caen itself is full of surprises with beautiful churches and abbeys combined with a very laid back atmosphere. Though we did not meet Christine her ongoing communication was both discrete and charming. Book you wont regret it. 5 stars all round

We really enjoyed staying at Jonas' apartment. It had plenty of room for 3 of us and everything worked well. We loved the home's spacious garden / back yard. The building was quiet and pretty. Restaurants were a short walk. When we did drive, it did not take long to find street parking upon return.

The best thing about staying here was the reception from Dominique & his wife & the location. They gave us a great introduction to the history of the area, the house and his personal connection to the Normandy landings. This was a country stay with a mishmash of furniture - this is not one of those new IKEA style Airbnbs - it felt a very authentic. All the important things worked, including great WIFI. We slept well thanks to a comfy bed, nice bed linen and black out blinds, you have a kettle and a Nespresso machine & everything to make a simple meal - 2 electric hot plates and a microwave. They were very gracious is letting us use their washing machine & dryer in the garage. The apartment is at one end of the house - up a flight of stairs, where you find an open plan kitchen/dining/living room & pull out bed, TV shower room/toilet. Up more stairs is a huge bedroom, with a standard double & a single bed. We loved all the reading books translated into English. A memorable stay

Stephane is a caring, helpful and proactive host. The cottage is about 3 blocks from Arromanches center that has great shops and restaurants and the ocean is right there and d-day history in front of you. The cottage is an oasis of tranquility and privacy.

Cute and nicely decorated apartment! There is nothing missing in terms of equipment and everything is very functional. We immediately felt good there because of the generosity of the hosts (toiletries, coffee, tea, chocolate, groceries to make a vinaigrette, etc.) The state of cleanliness is of a level rarely (if not never) encountered. We are a little obsessive, but everything inspires confidence: fresh towels, sheets that smell like laundry, fitted sheets with the clean side facing up, fresh dishcloth and new sponge... What's the best way to describe feeling like a princess in an Airbnb accommodation?🥰 Built in 1899, Villa La Sapinière is quietly located close to the beach. Anne had already sent us detailed information about the exact location of the apartment before our arrival. There was also a useful manual in the apartment. Upon entering the apartment, a very pleasant scent immediately entered our noses and the hand soap also smelled very good. For our dog, a towel was available under the stairs in the entrance area, which we greatly appreciated, as it had just rained heavily. Orange juice and water were waiting for us in the refrigerator. The apartment is a beautiful, bright studio with perfectly coordinated, very tasteful furnishings. Everything was immaculately clean and the bedroom with the carpet was incredibly cozy. Excellent communication with the host who gives a lot of details about the stay. Beautiful location in the city; sometimes neighborhood noises, these remain within the acceptable. Review the fixing of the shutter to completely close the apartment which is at street/sidewalk level. Easy parking. Well located in relation to the cities to visit. I recommend

We are two Quebec couples who wanted to visit the landing beaches and its museums. The apartment met our expectations very well: it is very well located (25 minutes' walk from the Juno Beach Museum, in particular), in a quiet area. The apartment as such is really comfortable, very clean, with a well-equipped kitchen. The bed and sofa bed are perfect, we all slept very well! Thanks Valerie and Manuel for this exceptional stay!

Beautiful apartment with a very nice west-facing balcony, the kitchen is very well-equipped, and the location on the port is very nice, but at the same time very quiet. The hosts are very responsive and welcoming, thank you so much for hosting us!

Great convenient place to stay. Only thing of possible concern is the narrow flights of stairs to the top floor. Would be difficult to get big bags up.
