We had a quiet family holiday in Cannon Rocks! Magical beach and wonderful coastal forest, sanddune and beach walks. Greatr place to execrcise. Swimming in the Boknes Lagoon, mountain biking to the Woody Cape and running the streets and beaches of Cannon rocks and Boknes. Close to Kenton and lots to do there as well. We loved our trip and wished we could have stayed longer.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Eddy's home. It had everything we needed for our summer holiday. The team were also very responsive to messages and requests for help. Would recommend staying there if you're looking for a spacious family home, that is well equipped and managed, in Bushmans River.

We loved Penelope's place and Port Alfred in general. The house is very well equipped and though fully designed. We felt right at home from the time we got there. Penny is a great host and Pinky is just amazing. Thanks for having us, we will definitely be back.

Beautiful and peaceful atmosphere and relaxing accomodation. Close too the river for a quick dip and to float down the river. Very quiet house and very spacious and welcoming. Really nice braai area and garden to relax. 10/10 would recommend for a relaxing getaway.

The place was lovely and had a to-die-for view. We could hear the sound of the ocean at night which was just amazing. The house is well kept and has all the convenient amenities. I would most definitely recommend the place to any family wanting to stay in Port Alfred .

Great location and value for money for a larger group. Gorgeous views from the deck and an easy walk down to the river. We loved it!

Such a special place, sunsets off the deck are superb. Driveway is a bit tricky, but the location is worth it and such value.

**Wonderful Stay with Stunning Views** We recently stayed at this beautiful home in Kleinemonde and I must say it was a fantastic experience! The location couldn't have been better—perfectly situated with easy access to the beach. But what truly set this place apart were the breathtaking views. Whether it was sunrise or sunset, the scenery was simply mesmerizing, making each moment spent there memorable. The accommodation itself was comfortable and well-maintained, with all the necessary amenities to ensure a pleasant stay. Connan and Cindy were friendly and helpful, always ready to assist. I highly recommend this home for anyone looking for beautiful views and a prime location.

We had a wonderful seven nights at Diana's place. The location is amazing with wonderful sea and golf course views. The house is well equipped and has everything that one could possibly require. We will certainly be returning.

We had such a great stay. We liked that it had multiple living areas and spaced out rooms which gave each family their privacy, including bathrooms. Rob's place has a lived-in feel which makes you feel right at home.

Perfect central location for our beach holiday. We could walk everywhere we wanted to go or just chill on the deck in the peaceful surroundings. We had a wonderful time.

We loved every minute of our stay - the location is wonderful, with beautiful views from almost every room, great facilities and a real 'home away from home' feel. The hosts were super helpful - sharing some great local recommendations. The pizza oven and pool were a welcome and unexpected bonus!

Lovely rustic sea side cottage. Great for families and walking distance from the river and main beach. We throughly enjoyed our stay!

Great Stopover from Natal , on the way to the western Cape. Lovely parking next to the house, even enough space for our trailer to turn around. Good ground coffee provided with plunger, always a treat! Good communication with Margie that really helped, very friendly and responsive .

We had a fantastic stay. The entire area struggling with water restrictions so we had to be conscious of water use, but this didn't detract from the stay. The place was so spacious, the beds were very comfortable, the hosts were responsive and friendly and the view and location were amazing. Highly recommended.

This stay exceeded our expectations! The home is even more beautiful than the photos—especially the newly renovated kitchen, which is fully equipped and stunning. It had everything we needed, including a dishwasher and washing machine. There are 3 bedrooms; just note you walk through the 2nd to get to the connected 3rd bedroom, and they share a bathroom. It wasn’t an issue for us, but worth mentioning. The undercover patio/braai area was perfect for relaxing, even in bad weather. The well-behaved dogs were a lovely bonus—one liked hanging out with us on the patio, adding a homely touch. The town is peaceful, the beaches are fantastic. We loved the 14km Cannon Trail hike (7km back along the beach). The Diaz Cross hike was another highlight—bring proper shoes. Don’t miss the Quin Sculpture Garden in Alexandria and ask them about a lovely forest trail back to Cannon Rocks from there, worth the drive. Roes serves great food. Highly recommended—we’d absolutely stay again!

We had the most wonderful stay in the gorgeous location, which is a stone throw from the lagoon. The house was clean and spacious and well equipped. There is a separate cottage that sleeps 2, providing privacy if needed. The beaches were amazing and the teens were able to walk to the lagoon to enjoy swimming and sundowners. There are also amazing things to do - fishing, waterskiing, surfing (there is someone on Kariega beach providing lessons for those who have never done it before), and a very vibey nightclub, Jerry's. Everything is close by, and overall, our stay was just fantastic! Sue, our host, answered our queries almost immediately and provided any and all advice and assistance. Thank you for a truly wonderful stay
