We had a wonderful stay! We loved that there are trails accessible by foot from the cabin. (Just walk up the gravel road about 3 minutes.) We discovered that a great morning routine for us was to have coffee, walk through the forest, enjoy the morning light on the ocean, and head back to the cabin for breakfast. Peaceful and relaxing :) Henny is a great host. She shared a ton of wonderful information about places to go and yummy restaurants on the island. The cabin itself is cozy, charming, and quiet. The bed is comfortable, a high priority for me! We also appreciated that we could bring our dog and that she could be off-leash in the grassy area around the cabin.

The comfort of the cabin was perfect for our rainy weekend away as we ended up spending most of our stay indoors. The little fireplace kept the space cozy and warm for when we came in from the hot tub. Plenty of room to set up a large dog bed and the enclosed deck was wonderful to allow her to roam without any worry of her wandering off. We had a lovely time at Ash & Brett's.

Absolutely stunning location - saw loads of wildlife from the terrace, and an amazing view over the water. Property was also very well supplied with a super modern kitchen and ample bed and bath space. Will be back!

We had a great time at Scott's place. It was well equipped, comfortable and felt very homely and welcoming. Scott was very friendly and responded immediately to any queries. He gave us helpful tips for local walks and wildlife viewing. We particularly loved watching hummingbirds just outside the lounge windows. We would recommend Karmix Cottage to anyone wanting a get away from it all break, but within easy reach of beaches, waterfalls and forests.

My partner and our children reserved this lovely home for a retirement celebration with our in laws. The home was spacious for all six of us and our family dog and there was something for everyone to enjoy. The home is nestled in a beautiful mountainous area with lovely views from all the front windows. It's rustic yet modernized layout and structure made it the perfect place to cozy up together or spread out and enjoy some quiet time separately. It's location is close enough to many trails and beach access points to get out and explore. The hot tub, sauna and cold plunge were definitely a highlight for our Spring trip and did not disappoint.

Clean place, friendly hosts and well worth what we paid for. The bed was comfortable, the kitchen was well equipped (albeit small as described, but no issues cooking breakfast and dinner for two people) with cooking supplies as well as some good quality spices and seasonings. The chocolates the hosts produce are phenomenal and very reasonably priced, we loved the pink salt dark chocolate we tried, so we purchased a variety of chocolates to bring home for friends on our way out.

We had a lovely stay at Billie’s place while visiting Salt Spring for a soccer tournament, and for our first trip with our new puppy! The place was very clean, lots of space, the kitchen had a large fridge and freezer for our snacks, and the bed was extremely comfortable. I even okayed the piano for the first time in years there! We enjoyed having a mudroom to take our boots/cleats/shoes off in and wipe our puppy’s paws before going inside. There’s also a nice lawn in front where we could play with the pup and it was walking distance from the local cidery. Overall it felt like our home away from home during our busy weekend visit.

We had a really great time at this very comfortable townhouse! Derek was a very responsive host and was incredibly accommodating of us traveling with a baby. Would definitely stay here again!

This was a fabulous rental, it was perfect in every way. Every step of this booking was just a great experience, the host was so friendly and fun to chat with and thought of everything a traveller might need. All of the instructions were clear and well thought out, everything was as expected if not better, the place was spotlessly clean and everything was provided for. It was the perfect getaway for my husband, son, and me. Spent many hours in the hot tub and pool looking out over the lake. Just what we needed to reconnect and recharge! Jamie was a very gracious host.

Judy's place was clean, tidy & well equipped. We had everything we needed with all of the comforts of home. the kids loved the amenities of rathrevor Beach & the pool being near by! thank you! we will definitely be back!!

This is our second stay. We love the space and the location. Great value given proximity to beach, other amenities. Most everything one needs is 10 min away or less. The cabin has all we need including a thoughtful welcome gift. plenty of coffee, supplies & linens. I am a light sleeper and find it very peaceful here & beds are comfortable. We'll be back next year. thx for a great stay!

Enjoyed the privacy of the unit and the beauty of Pacific Shores Resort. The kitchen was well equipped with lots of dishes and pots and pans. Heidi communicated well with good information.

this was our second visit at this airbnb, we feel so welcome and love the house and all that it offers. the kids loved the pond full of fish, the trail to the river and the foodball table, its very peaceful here.

We absolutely loved our stay and can’t wait to return! The property is absolutely gorgeous, with stunning views from inside the unit as well as from the patio area. We spent a great deal of time on the dock… we loved paddling around in the kayaks and the walk-in steps from the dock were great for us and our dog. We also enjoyed the beach area. The suite was perfect for our needs and we slept very well in the bed. Overall a great stay and lovely hosts.

My partner and I visited for a weekend getaway from Vancouver and it was fantastic. I loved the space and it was just like it was pictured. The best part for us was the fire pit and how walkable it was into town. Thanks again!

The cabin is perfect for a stop over in the lovely town of Roberts Creek. It is very small and all you need if you don't plan to spend much time in the cabin. The surrounding gardens in Karen's property are so beautiful. It is private and the bed is comfortable. The place is very clean. You can hear a bit of the cars from the nearby highway but it is not too loud. The place is private. Karen was very accommodating and I enjoyed my 1 night stay. I enjoyed the self check-in and check-out. Toilet is in the shower. Not a problem for me but this place would not be suitable for someone with mobility challenges. Thank you for the great stay!!!

We’d love to stay again at the spot! This place is great - beautifully decorated and immaculately clean. Well equipped and comfortable. Lovely view across the lake and would be ideal in the warmer weather for the lake swimming.

My husband and I stayed here for a relaxing anniversary weekend with our dog and we had such a great time. The suite was clean, well laid out, and comfortable. Dean and Amanda were lovely hosts and we felt right at home. Not to mention the beautiful view from the patio. The easy access to the beach allowed us to walk down with our dog for a peaceful evening stroll. Overall, we had a fantastic time staying here and would definitely recommend it to our friends and family hoping to visit Gibsons. Thanks Amanda and Dean!

Tania’s cabin felt like going home, but with the added bonus of being located on a beautiful, private section of lake overlooking provincial park land. We couldn’t have asked for a better location to enjoy the lake and nearby trail systems. Directly behind the cabin is a steep, paved pathway down to the dock and beach - both were hands down the highlight of our stay - spacious and set up for relaxing, while also acting as a launch point for paddle boards and kayaks. The cabin was also incredibly comfortable for our dogs - Tania added thoughtful touches just for them including comfy beds, treats, and towels. I especially appreciated the large, working grill on the back deck overlooking the water. This made meal prep easy and an absolute joy. We will be back!

Loved it here. Easy drive to many attractions. We spent a day in victoria, sunsets at sunset beach is 10 min away, did some hikes at englishman river and loved she had kayaks that we enjoyed paddling around on.
