Un véritable manoir anglais, ancien presbytère, à la décoration digne de l'époque Victorienne... Et une vue magique sur les bateaux sur l'eau. On se croirait dans Orgueil et Préjugés : chaque objet et pièce est d'une décoration choisie et le jardin foisonne de plantes et arbres. J'ai été accueillie comme en famille par June, qui a ponctué mon séjour de charmantes attentions. Un petit déjeuner digne de Downton Abbey, sur vaisselle d'Angleterre et face au jardin en fleurs m'a même été préparé... Tout est à disposition dans les chambres et même davantage : mini frigo rempli par l'hôte avec attention, gâteaux, thé/café, chaussons, serviettes... J'ai été choyée comme à la maison. Merci encore pour ce séjour féerique !

Located just outside Weymouth, but with regular local bus #8 made it perfect. Just a short walk down to South West Coast path. Accommodation perfect and will pass on to friends.

This was Airbnb at its best. A cosy, comfortable room in someone's home where every effort was made to make us feel welcome and relaxed. The most delicious breakfast knocked up with apparent effortlessness and Louisa was charming and great company. Thank you so much.

Jane was extremely welcoming and pleasant. She was very attentive throughout the stay and always checked if everything was OK. The location was fantastic - just a few hundred metres from the cathedral and with the added bonus of parking very close to the cabin. The property is small as described but it's ideal for a short stay.

Pleased to find this to stay. Samatha was very helpful and accommodating. A bright clean room with bathroom on the second floor of her home. Little microwave on the landing to heat up food if needed. Very close to town easy to get to. We can see why She's a SUPER Host.

We had the best time with Rosie. She is a wonderful host who frequently checks if there is anything you need for the day and adapts to your needs. There is a lot of private space to be on your own, if you so wish. But I would recommend getting to know your host because she is an amazing lady. Very knowledgeable, good stories and sense of humour and it is just a pleasure to chat with her. She has travelled the world, there is beautiful and interesting art in every room. The breakfast is delicious with lots of fresh local produce and if she offers to cook supper for you, dont pass up on the offer!

Fiona ist die perfekte Gastgeberin. Sie nimmt sich Zeit für Gespräche, hat immer ein offenes Ohr und viel Wissen, um z.B. Fragen zum Gastland bzw. der Region fundiert zu beantworten. Es war etwas ganz Besonderes in Ihrem schönen ruhig gelegenen Haus mit phantastischem Meerblick zu Gast sein zu dürfen. Auch ihr Mann und ihre Tochter waren sehr zuvorkommend. Das Frühstück war vielfältig und köstlich mit guten Zutaten. Der Hafen und die Altstadt von Weymouth mit einigen Restaurants sind gut zu Fuß zu erreichen. Wir haben unseren Aufenthalt genossen. Deze cottage en haar bewoners zijn pareltjes. Aan te bevelen aan een ieder die authenticiteit en rust op prijs stelt. Shelley doet er alles aan om je comfortabel en cosy te doen voelen, zonder verlies van privacy. Vanuit deze mooie en centrale plek kun je de prachtige districten goed ontdekken, ook de kust is prima berijdbaar. We kregen goede tips van Shelley, en gaan met fijne herinneringen door. Veel dank!

My daughter and I spent two nights at Alison’s charming cottage, nestled in the heart of nature – exactly what we were looking for! We booked just two days before arriving, and Alison was incredibly flexible and accommodating. One of the real highlights was the chance to meet and chat with her – such a lovely person: warm, welcoming, and full of great local tips. A special mention must go to the delicious breakfast! It’s a truly lovely spot for anyone who enjoys unfussy travel in beautiful natural surroundings, with plenty of attractions nearby. Thank you Alison for such a peaceful week-end in the New Forest…

A very nice place to stay and visit the lovely town of Bruton and all there is to do nearby. The room was spacious, airy, clean and uncluttered, bathroom, was great too. Very friendly and helpful also! I'd book there again.

Lovely spot and extremely conveniently located relative to the Tank Museum so if you’re visiting and aim to stay over you couldn’t do better. Gillian is also a very friendly and hospitable host who made us feel very welcome. Would happily stay again!

Jan e seu marido, Patrick, nos receberam muito bem. Casal muito simpático, e uma casa muito boa. Eles foram muito amigáveis conosco, e nos deixaram muito à vontade na casa deles. Eu e minha esposa nos sentimos como se estivéssemos na nossa casa. Quando voltarmos a Bournemouth, vamos nos hospedar novamente com Jan. Jan e Patrick são dois novos amigos que fizemos, durante a nossa estada.

We were generously given an upgrade which is always great! We slept really well, the view through the huge Georgian windows was epic. Breakfast super and altogether well worth the money. I highly recommend:)

Had an amazing stay with Melissa. They were not able to greet us, so we were upgraded to the chalet in the garden which was a beautiful wooden cabin in a lush, private garden. Very clean, great breakfast, and easy walk into town from the bottom of the garden. Would recommend!

We totally enjoyed our stay at Darren and Chi’s place. They are really a super host! Very responsive in communications, flexible in accommodating our check-in schedule, providing all useful information about Bournemouth city center as well as nearby places, and doing their best to make you feel like home! The morning breakfast prepared by Chi is sumptuous, and making our stay really unforgettable! It’s our first time visiting the Jurassic coast, and we were super lucky to find their room listing in Bournmouth where we make it as a base for our long weekend trip! For sure we would recommend their place to anyone who plan to visit Bournemouth and nearby towns and sights, and definitely we would love to come back again some time in the future!

Staying with Alison is just perfect and I really look forward now to my visits to Dorset and Somerset. The views are sensational and the facilities are perfect and Alison is such a wonderfully natural person to be around with - what more could you ask for really whether you are in from a working day or on holiday? We had a delightful stay with Clive and Angie. They are very welcoming guests. The room with en suite was perfect for our needs, and made for an affordable weekend visiting the New Forest and Bournemouth. The room was bright and spotlessly clean, with some thoughtful touches. We also enjoyed cereals, fresh fruit, toast and preserves, fresh juice and a good pot of tea for our breakfast. Home from home! The recommendation to visit Friars Cliff on our way home was perfect. Thank you for welcoming us into your home. We would love to visit again.

We had such an amazing stay at Lorna's place. She went above and beyond as a host to ensure we were comfortable and had everything we needed. Lorna created a couple of detailed itineraries for our daily visits and also shared many other options to fill our days. The room was super clean, cozy, and nicely decorated with lots of snacks, tea, and coffee. The continental breakfast was an absolute delight, offering a fantastic variety of delicious options to start the day. The house is located in a very peaceful area, and we enjoyed walking around and having dinner at a classic pub just around the corner. I highly recommend Lorna as a super host and her place. We definitely will stay at her place when we visit Dorchester in the future.

I stayed with Avril for one night and she is a very good host. The place was spotless, and in my room, which had a lockable door, I had tea and coffee making facilities, plus use of the main kitchen, for which she had bought me bread to toast for breakfast, as well as some chocolate filled buns. It's now my go to place to stay whenever I visit the area.

My second time staying with Brian and hopefully not my last! Rooms are clean and tidy, with everything you need. Brian also provided breakfast and tea/coffee, which was very welcome.

We had a fabulous short stay with our two sausage dogs. Ideal base for a quick visit to see local family. Lovey little touches with the milk, bread etc. Would highly Recommend ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

We had a very comfortable stay at this amazing property. The facilities are great and the bed was really comfortable with lovely linen. The hoist Fee was really friendly and helpful. She went out of her way to help us and has great knowledge of the area. I would recommend this property and would stay again if we are in the area.
