The "New Orleans" room at Villa Boutique 1880 pays tribute to the story of a Gaxate emigrant who, in the 19th century, moved to New Orleans and prospered in the river transport business on the Mississippi. After making his fortune, he returned to his hometown and built a country house, whose stone was used to build the villa. Elegantly decorated, its decorated ceilings, 3 balconies, terrace and gallery stand out, with incredible views of the village of Gaxate, the forest and river.

Reginita, the daughter of the former owners, would use a blue towel on her balcony to signal that her father was available to take them to the neighboring village to party. This gesture brought together her friends, who knew it was a party day. The father, kind and accommodating, would take them in his car, sharing laughter and anecdotes. The blue towel became a symbol of freedom and fun, evoking camaraderie and youthful adventures.

Rock and Roll became part of the town's identity, uniting generations and social classes through music and dance.

The Compass Rose Room

The "Rosa de los Vientos" room in the Villa Boutique 1880 is an architectural jewel located under the roof, named for the wind rose that forms its roof, symbolizing orientation and adventure. With exposed wooden beams and natural tones, it evokes a warm rustic retreat. A large skylight lets in natural light and starry night views.
