A haven in Caldebarcos

Refugio: traditional architecture between hiking trails (A Moa (Red Natura), Aguillóns, Camiño dos Costados), a walk bordered by stone walls surrounded by granaries and, in the background, the immense beach of Carnota, Boca do Rio and its marsh (a 10-minute walk from the Refuxio). Nestled at the foot of Mount Pindo, built in 1920, and conceived of and restored in 2021 as a timeless space where time stands still. Terrace sheltered from the wind by a stone wall, in the shade of centuries-old fig and laurel trees.

Casa rústica situada en la aldea de Panchés,(Ayto. de Carnota). Un enclave con una tranquilidad absoluta, con el Monte Pindo a nuestras espaldas. Tenemos también a 3 kilometros la playa de Boca do río. En dirección norte, a 5 kilometros, tenemos la Cascada del Ezaro. Otro de los sitios que destacamos es Caldebarcos (a 1 km del alojamiento) con distintos restaurantes para poder degustar los productos de la zona, sobre todo los pescados y mariscos que abundan en nuestra tierra.

The "refuxos" are small traditional buildings in which sailors kept their fishing gear. To preserve and honor the local architecture and culture, we have created these cabins that can be defined as their modernized version. They have extraordinary views of the port of Quilmas and the beach. Behind, the imposing Monte Pindo, a scree full of history and about 100 meters from Quilmas beach.
