One of the nicest locations we’ve ever visited! Peaceful, beautiful location and comfortable, well-appointed lodging. Gracious, responsive host. Walking distance to a small pharmacy, small grocery store, and very nice restaurant. We would like to go back again!

Myself and 7 friends spend 3 nights here and we had the most incredible stay. It is rare to book a unit where there are no bad bedrooms, but all 5 bedrooms in this unit were perfection! Comfortable beds, strong air conditioning, and full private bathrooms in each bedroom. The kitchen and living room spaces were equally as great, and the hot tub was the cherry on top! We also loved the location right next to the park and walking distance from all the city's main attractions.

A wonderful home that is really fully equipped! Everything is thought out and planned so that we have a great time! The welcome and explanations are clear and it was a pleasure to interact with you. 😉 Thanks for the tips on restaurants and outings to do! We had a great stay, in a quiet place, very nice and the jacuzzi is a real plus in this accommodation which is super well located for visiting La Rochelle and its surroundings 😉

We had a great weekend with friends at Roz's. The house is very beautiful, clean, spacious. Everything is provided (bed linen, towels, etc.). Small touches were waiting for us, it's a plus that we really appreciated. The many activities available on site occupied us well, we did not leave the weekend house: pool, jacuzzi, billiards, ping pong, darts, etc. Small dedication to Bob who welcomed us very warmly!

We had a great time in this accommodation, we will probably come back! The jacuzzi is really great and allows for an optimal relaxing break in a very quiet green setting.

Excellent stay at Sophie's, the accommodation is ideal for a couple, there is everything like at home. Very quiet environment, and the restaurant recommended by Sophie was excellent.

The house was in a perfect location, it was quiet but close to everything. It was clean and well equipped. Marine was super responsive and easy to work with.

As soon as we arrived, JP was there to greet us, smiling, kind and friendly. He showed us the place, which was exactly as described in the listing. During our stay he was very discreet although always available to our requests. If you are looking for a very clean, quiet and pleasant resort, close to the sea and the center of Royan. Only one night spent at Martine and Jean-Michel's, but I would definitely stay again if possible. The layout of the house is charming and authentic.

We had a great time at Denis's place. Host with unparalleled responsiveness and kindness, a real joy. The house is ideally located, quiet and everything is within walking distance. It was a pleasant stay and close to Bordeaux and even closer to cute towns along the river like Blaye. Lots to see and many wineries nearby as well! The accommodation is exactly as described and well worth it for the price.

Lovely overnight stay. Very welcoming, friendly hosts, Susan and Daniel. The house had everything we needed and was very clean with nice touches provided by the hosts. The house is situated at the entrance to a 5-acre property filled with beautiful trees, which, unfortunately, we didn't have time to walk through - maybe next time, as we would like to return to spend more time in the area. we found this place on our bike tour. The hosts are very welcoming people and even offered to shelter our bikes for the night. The space was very clean and very functional. Nice little restaurant 1 km from the cottage. I would highly recommend it

An absolute dream home! The furnishings are chosen with incredible attention to detail – nothing is really missing. Everything is in great condition, very clean and well maintained. You can immediately see how well thought out everything is: From the tasteful furnishings to the detailed and helpful documentation, everything was perfectly organized. The large, completely fenced garden is a real highlight – beautifully landscaped and ideal for relaxing. We felt completely comfortable and would be happy to come back.

This is the second time we have stayed at Loustalet. Need I say more? Extremely comfortable home, everything we needed for a family holiday. Nightingales sang in the woods, buzzards and kites soared above us and we were visited by hares and deer in the garden. The house is well situated for what we needed in Castillion la Bataille and close enough to enjoy Saint Emilion and Libourne. Our host was extremely attentive and helpful yet respected our privacy and we are surely to return again.

Beautiful setting, peaceful and quiet. Great base to explore the area, but you'll need a car! Rauzan 5 minutes down the road has everything you'll need, bakery, butchers, groceries and pizza restaurant! A great place to relax, would recommend to anyone.

Lovely property. Fantastic pool. We were a family of 8 + child and it was very comfortable. Close to Cognac and an hours drive from pool. Welcoming and responsive hosts. Definitely recommend.

We had a great time at Elise and Marcel's! The accommodation is really great and the amenities are really well suited for a weekend getaway with family or friends with children.

The village of Gensac is tucked away in the lovely Saint-Émilion countryside. The one-time convent feels like a special place, a quiet and peaceful retreat to return to after our days visiting Bordeaux, Saint-Émilion, Bergerac, and environs. The suite is spacious, very clean, has useful amenities, and we settled in easily. A vase of fresh flowers on the dining table and a bottle of local wine were nice touches that we especially appreciated. John was a helpful, informative, and friendly host. We enjoyed meeting him and will remember our stay there fondly. Thank you, John.

We had a great time, the pool is worthy of a 4-star rating, green and peaceful property. Everything is in place to have a relaxing vacation and disconnect. Don't hesitate to collect small logs in the landscaped park to enhance your evenings during a barbecue (this one provided) and at the same time, don't buy charcoal because Patrick will be very happy as you will contribute to cleaning the priority 😊 A big thank you to Christine and Patrick Nath & Mika Signed: the budding artist 😉

Anne’s guesthouse is a lovely little gem. It’s tastefully furnished and decorated and has a lovely location at the back of the family’s garden. The shared pool is a nice bonus, it’s very refreshing to cool off on a hot day. The neighborhood is very nice - residential, quiet but right next to the parc and within walking distance to the center (15-20 minutes). Anne is a lovely host; she and her family are a pleasure to stay with. You will also get to meet family dog Tina, who loves to play in the garden. 🐶
