Our goal was to create a space for the entire family. The History of our Cabin started as Hoss's Country Store where we provided a general store for our community and the guests visiting our beautiful area next to the National Forest. We have always felt that taking care of our family and friends were the top priority. Escape to a one-of-a kind countryside retreat-an artfully repurposed ostrich barn set on 40 private acres of peaceful, natural beauty. Spend your days exploring & hiking nearby trails or venturing out to mountains and crystal-clear streams or fishing in the private large, stocked pond with a pedal boat for fun. There is also a firepit with firewood included for evening relaxation and good conversation. Back at the barn, unwind in your own saltwater hot tub under the stars.

The Cottage at Acorn

The Cottage at Acorn is located in the Heart of the Ouachita Mountains and only 4 miles to Mena. The Cottage is a double cylinder block mother-in-law suite, with concrete floors, pine ceilings and vintage decorations. Walking distance from a playground, walking track, and Veterans Memorial Park. Covered concrete parking (with a basketball goal) and an outdoor covered patio. There are 2 entrances, please use The Veterans Memorial Park entrance on Highway 71.
