The History of our Cabin started as Hoss's Country Store where we provided a general store for our community and the guests visiting our beautiful area next to the National Forest. We have always felt that taking care of our family and friends were the top priority. Come experience the great outdoors with a clear view of the stars and mountains. Enjoy watching wildlife while exploring or swimming in Rock Creek. You will have easy access to Wolf Pen Gap ( beautiful ride from cabin to WPG ), Queen Wilhelmina State Park and the Christian Motorcycle Association Headquarters. You also have a charcoal grill and fire pit.

Our home is located near Queen Wilhelmina State Park, the Talimena National Scenic Byway & the Ouachita National Forest. There are beautiful views from the deck and you can see beautiful trees out of every window. Our cozy home is only 6 miles from the town of Mena known for many attractions including the Old Home Train Depot Museum (you can occasionally hear the train go by the house) & fantastic antique shops. You will find so many unique restaurants art galleries and shopping close by.

Explore waterfalls, swimming holes, beautiful creeks, and hundreds of miles of backroads for hiking, biking, or ATV trails. The WOLF PEN GAP trailhead is less that 1/2 mile away, ride directly to trails from the cabin, no trailering needed. Unwind in the hot tube, gather around the firepit, or cook the BBQ pit. Scenic day trips and local shopping await!

Come unplug and relax at our cozy little cabin in the woods. The cabin was originally built, by hand, by our family almost 50 years ago. A few years ago, we had the chance to purchase the cabin again, and have fully remodeled it (all of the work was by those original builders!). It has become our rustic getaway with modern conveniences. We hope you love it as much as our family does!
