Lovely, lake cottage with beautiful surroundings. Julie’s cottage was a perfect place for my husband and I to celebrate our 31st anniversary. It was so peaceful and private. We especially loved the hot tub for relaxing and looking at wildlife. What a clean, cute cottage with everything you could possibly need. We look forward to staying at Water’s Edge again!

The cabin was nestled in the woods, very peaceful and quiet! Loved the back covered deck!! The hot tub was relaxing after miles of hiking. The bed was comfy. Everything was clean and organized neatly. The kitchen was well stocked too. We would stay here again.

Words cannot begin to describe our visit. The view from this cabin was absolutely breathtaking. We stumbled upon this location by fate, and it became a bucket list item we didn't know existed. Michael responded to our questions very quickly and ensured we had everything we needed during our stay. Taking the ranger to the overlook during sunset was just perfect! We even extended an extra night, which wasn't enough. We will be returning! Book the cabin, you will not regret it.... Keep in mind that you might want to have a high-profile or off-road vehicle. I couldn't imagine getting there without one.

The location of the cabin was at the top of a high mountain so we could see the spectacular view from our bedroom window! It was especially breathtaking whiling relaxing in the hot tub on the deck. The whole house was very clean and made it such a comfortable place to vacation. Like a home away from home. If you have any sensitivity to higher elevations, it may take a while for your body to adjust. Wish we could have stayed longer!! Excellent!!

The cabin has a "at home" feeling about it. All of the basic necessities were provided. It is close to stores but feels like you are in the country. The cookies she made upon our arrival were phenomenal! Judy and Ken are friendly and welcoming. This was the best air b&b that we have stayed at! Highly recommend.

Everything was great. We needed a disconnect from the world and we got it. Hopefully we can do and explore more next time when we have time! Thanks again Nick!

I was blown away by our stay at Petit Jean! We found our cabin very late due to being with friends but Deanne’s specific directions made it very easy. When we came in it was one of the most clean spaces we’ve ever stayed in. It was super cute, it had all the little touches of home including things like Q tips, washing machine pods, plenty of towels, seasonings to cook with etc. We loved how quiet it was and very private even tho we did have one set of neighbors. My husband was very impressed and said we’d stay at this exact location again- he’s never been an Air bnb fan until recently-so this was huge! The price was very reasonable, which we loved. I’ve already recommended it to 3 friends who saw our pics and wanted to stay here. You will want to stay here again and again. I promise you don’t be disappointed!

This was the perfect space for us and it had everything we needed for a long weekend getaway. We selected this place as a central location to the hiking we had planned. This was a quiet and relaxing place to come back to after our adventures. The two bedrooms allowed for us to spread out and the fully stocked kitchen was perfect for us to cook our dinners. And the best part was that this place is dog friendly - thankful that we were able to bring our dog along with us! He loved it too!

Great place to stay, close access to riding trials. Definitely would stay here again.

My family and I stayed at Misty Bluff in celebration of my retirement. The best part of the entire experience for me was waking up every morning seeing the sun rising above the mountains from the master bedroom. The house was very clean and the decor made it feel like home. Karla's response time to any question was prompt. I could not have asked for a better experience to start this new chapter of my life.

We had a wonderful stay in this beautiful cabin! The setting is peaceful and scenic, just a short walk to a crystal clear creek, perfect for fishing and swimming. The cabin itself was clean, well-equipped, and comfortable. We especially loved spending time on the deck each day, enjoying our morning coffee, watching the sunsets, spotting wildlife, and just soaking in the tranquility. The location is ideal, close to trails, parks, and town. Mountain View had everything we needed and more. We were warmly welcomed by friendly locals and even got to enjoy some hometown bluegrass jams in the park with ice cream in hand. It was a perfect place to reconnect and make up for lost time with my best friend and partner.

First & foremost.. the host was very informative about their place & the surrounding areas, etc to explore! Not to mention their responsiveness to addl questions we had during our stay. Secondly.. their attention to details.. not only did they have excellent pots & pans but everything you might need in the kitchen & well thought out “other things” that most AIRBNB rentals don’t have. The great endless supply of hot water meaning you don’t have to wait to shower is a big plus in my books! Both AC splits did an excellent job both upstairs & down! The beds were very comfy as well. Screened in porch was spectacular!! Not only were the views amazing but so many extras..mini fridge, bar area, party lights & more! Lastly.. I messed up on our check out date..ugh. Our host was so very kind about my mistake & made adjustments to his schedule to accommodate us! A HUGE THANKS to our host for sharing their amazing place with us! 10+Stars! Scott and Roni are super sweet hard working people. you can see the care and time they have put into making their own little piece of paradise. property is nestled far into the woods, but goodness is it worth it when your there. slept like a baby in nice quiet woods. lots of love has gone into this place and I will definitely be going back again, highly recommend!!!

If you're looking in this area, I cannot imagine you will find a nicer place for twice the money. Everything has been thought of, and then some. If you do plan a stay, please take care of it- I want to have it around for a long time!

Brilliant stay and a fantastic host

If you’re looking for a peaceful stay with beautiful views and a super cozy cabin, this is it! We had the best time looking at the river and mountains in the distance. I was able to relax in the pool and read an entire book in peace! The cabin was absolutely precious and the bed was SUPER comfy! If you’re looking for an easy fishing getaway, this might not be it! The hike to the river was quite the adventure! Once on the river, we had to walk across the river to get out of the trees to find a decent fishing spot. It’s was an experience, for sure! Fun, but not something we were prepared for! 10/10 would stay again, though. The views, peacefulness, and the homey cabin made the entire adventure worth it!

This place was exactly as described. The area may have the best scenery in the State. Elizabeth was very friendly and sent me many suggestions for food and activities. I do not have one complaint. Excellent place to stay.

This was AMAZING and I will definitely be going back. Not only was the cabin itself beautiful with lots of nice amenities, we arrived to the cabin and there was a welcome basket and an assortment of baked goods inside from a local bakery which made it feel all more personable. The host was very communicative and his family was very friendly and helpful by allowing us to use their lake equipment for the day. 10/10 recommend!!

The cabin was cozy. We enjoyed s’mores by the fire pit in the evening. We only had an overnight stay, but would love to come back to the cabin and explore Mt Magazine sometime.

Mother Nature sent a two-day downpour preventing us from safely fishing or launching our kayaks, but Pa’s cabin is beautiful and its story is touching. Our host was knowledgeable and kind. The resident cabin owl was curious and equally beautiful. I hope Mr. Owl also greets all future guests because that was pretty cool! We spent our time relaxing by the fire pit by the river’s edge.
