Apartment vacation rentals in Pognana Lario

We loved being there! The apartment is bigger than expected from the pictures, super well equipped and very clean. The garden is simply amazing. We could have breakfast and dinner under the porch even while raining. It was possibly even more romantic and beautiful. If you keep the door to the garden open you can fall asleep to the sound of the lake. Well located between the mountains and Como, at walking distance from good restaurants and cocktail places. Public free parking around the corner, super easy to carry luggage inside. Nicoletta is really friendly and gave us simple and clear instructions for check in and check out, plus lots of useful tips about local places and made us laugh too! Thank you!

This place was incredible! We were truly shocked by how nice the house was, the cleanliness, the beautiful views from the windows, and the peaceful nature of the area. There was such a thoughtfulness behind the layout of the house, it was so well equipped and had more than most hotels would even provide e.g. charging adapters, a fully stocked kitchen of appliances and utensils, soap for the shower, and even a smart tv! Nesso is such a lovely town with so many lovely things to do and see as well as a central location in the middle of lake Como with easy access to bellagio, varenna, como, and many others by bus or ferry. Mattia was so friendly and lovely and always eager to help us out with quick responses. Overall this was such an enjoyable stay both from how lovely the property was but also how helpful the owner Mattia was. 10/10 i highly recommend and would totally go back!

Ila und Matthia sind sehr freundliche Gastgeber und super nett. Das Airbnb ist wie beschrieben und hat eine so tolle Aussicht direkt auf den Como See. Wir wurden sofort herzlichst empfangen mit Empfehlungen und Tipps, sowie nette Gespräche. Immer wieder gerne. Alles war sehr sauber und wir würden sofort wieder buchen ☺️

Excellent séjour de six nuits, au calme avec une vue imprenable sur le lac. Appartement très agréable, décoré avec goût et authentique. Long balcon où l'on peut prendre tous les repas face au lac. Tiziana est très accueillante et bienveillante. Elle prodigue des conseils judicieux et pratiques. Une petite ballade matinale à pied pour rejoindre le clocher de Pognana et le second clocher est à faire. Côme est à 13 km en voiture et à 15 mn en bus. Les bus passent toutes les 30 mn. Il faut les emprunter pour voir la conduite expérimentée des chauffeurs sur les routes étroites. L'appartement est au calme, c'est très reposant. Il y a une épicerie à 5 mn en descendant sur la route mais attention, il faut remonter après... Elle est un peu chère mais les produits sont délicieux.

We had the most incredible stay at Mattia and Daniela’s place—an absolute gem in Lake Como. From the moment we arrived, everything was perfect: peaceful, quiet, and the kind of breathtaking views that truly stay with you. Mattia was beyond responsive and generous throughout our entire stay. He and Daniela went above and beyond in every way, making us feel genuinely welcome and taken care of. The home itself was spotless, beautifully inviting, and thoughtfully prepared for guests. It was exactly the peaceful escape we hoped for—if not better—and we’re already dreaming about coming back. Thank you again, Mattia and Daniela, for such an unforgettable experience. niesamowite miejsce z pięknym widokiem na góry i jezioro. gospodarze pomogli ze wszystkim. mieszkanie małe ale jak dla pary to świetne miejsce na odpoczynek. polecam to miejsce dla par. jesteśmy bardzo zadowoleni z naszego pobytu. napewno wrócimy tam jeszcze.

The “Hydrangea Villa” at the very top of Villa Monti was a dream to stay in. The views were outstanding and all the windows open to hear the birds singing and allow cool breezes to flow thru (there is an excellent A/C system in this upper space as well). The downstairs bedroom & bath was just as clean, but not as cool as the “tower”. Communication pre-arrival was prompt and the onsite manager “MG” is friendly, attentive, knows Varenna well and gave us great suggestions for dinners & hikes ( do not miss hiking to the cemetery, waterfall and castle)! He carried our ( heavy!) bags up the 99 steps to our room- thank you MG!! The pool, although small was very refreshing and the area around it so pleasant to sit and gaze over Lake Como while drinking wine. I would not hesitate to stay here again and highly recommend Villa Monti to anyone traveling to beautiful Varenna.

Beautiful place and stunning view! Very private and the pool and surroundings were such an added bonus. The one thing we wish we did was rent a car because only a few restaurants are nearby and you have to walk on the main highway. But it was a wonderful stay and Vicky was great at communication!

Emanuele’s place has spectacular views of the lake (big windows in the spacious living room!), and an incredible location. Peaceful, serene, clean and quiet place. The restaurant next-door is fantastic. We had dinner there 2 nights. And there’s even a fun good little coffee shop. that’s just a short five minute walk. The host was responsive and Sarah was great to communicate with. One suggestion: there are no markets in the area except a Mini Mart. Suggest you buy what you need before you arrive to this gorgeous place.

The place itself is very comfortable and had everything you need. The view of lake Como is stunning and location was great. Easy walk to shops, bus and ferry station. Denis is very proactive and helped us with finding another accommodation due a mix up of dates on our behalf. Would highly recommend to stay at this lovely apartment.

We had a lovely stay, the apartment was very spacious and clean, and had everything we needed. The view from the apartment is amazing, perfect for a relaxing evening with a glass of wine!Location is great, we found it easy to use the nearby public transport routes. Cristina provided details of local restaurants and tour groups prior to check in and was responsive to all of our queries. We highly recommend this apartment for a stay in Lake Como!

Everything was as we excpected, the apartment was very nice and spacious. The area around the pool was very beautiful and there was a cute short path down to the beach. There was also a good restaurant at the beach.

Ce séjour en famille s’est extrêmement bien passé ; nous nous sommes régalés dans le logement de Luca qui correspondait parfaitement à la description. L’atout charme : le spa et le jacuzzi avec une vue imprenable sur le lac 😍 Un grand merci aux co-hôtes Andrea et Carla pour leur gentillesse et leur réactivité dans les échanges avant, pendant et après notre séjour. Je recommande sans hésitation !

Great location for a family. Centrally located and great view about. Washer was great and the outdoor space allowed us to dry our clothes quickly. It was nice for everyone to have space to spread out.

Rolig og flott sted, leiligheten var som beskrevet i annonsen. Vi var 6 voksne som hadde ei flott uke i leiligheten med flott utsikt. Vi leide sykler fra @Bike it! Bellagio, veldig god service her også. Fint å sykle å oppleve nye steder, ferge fra Bellagio gikk til begge sidene av innsjøen og var lett tilgjengelig 😊

Lisa and her family were incredibly gracious and responsive hosts. They met us shortly after we arrived helped us park our van and carry in our bags. They gave us recommendations for restaurants and we ended up booking a lovely boat ride on Lake Como with Lisa as our captain. The apartment was as pictured and was comfortable for our family.
