Pet-friendly vacation rentals in Podglavica

SHE House was as advertised. We quickly called her home feeling acclimated & comfortable. Our GPS sent us some terrible way initially but the locals were very friendly offering us assistance. Our host was patient & accommodating showing us how many ways to reach the house ("all roads lead to SHE House"). We really enjoyed how centrally located the home was to all things on Brac Island. We realized our visit was a bit early for the weather & the season when our original ferry from Makarska was cancelled due to bad weather but no worries we just had to go to Split. The wind was so strong it actually blew open the latched front door one afternoon. The soft throws in the basket were nice & cozy-really appreciated. Some of our favorite meals were at Pumparela Restaurant & Taverna Riva in Bol; Konoba Kopacina & Restaurant Ziza in Donji Humac; Gastro Diva in Makarska. Driving in Croatia is NOT for the faint of heart but if you happen to be on the D8 stop for coffee at Strada.

We had a lovely stay. The house is everything you need and the terrace is stunning. having breakfast under the beautiful tree was a dream. We were welcomed by Zinka and it was no problem that we arrived quite late. there was even some home made chocolate cake for us! Goran is very kind and answered very quickly. he also gave us some good information for things to see and we could even borrow his kayak and use things like the washing machine. Big plus: the sea just 50 meters away from the house makes for a great morning dip!

This is the second time we have visited this property and as before it did not disappoint, the location is amazing and the house has such charm and we made the most out of the grill/BBQ outside in the patio, Ivona is so quick to respond and is super helpful, thanks for helping make some more amazing memories and we will be back x

The house of Bruna in Vinisce impresses with its charm of the location, the view, the grandiose furnishings, which is incredibly stylish and individual. A place to slow down and switch off all daily topics. With a little luck, Adriadelphine can be seen swimming through the bay. We thank Bruna for all the amenities we were allowed to experience.

Nous avons passé un très bon séjour dans cette jolie maison fleurie! Au calme vous pourrez profiter du jardin et des alentours grâce aux vélos. Elle est idéalement placée pour explorer le parc national. L’hôte est disponible et à de très bons conseils pour découvrir la région.

Unser Aufenthalt bei Vicko war wunderbar. Vom Check-In über die Unterkunft, der sehr geschmackvoll eingerichtet und super sauber und gemütlich war, bis hin zum problemlosen Check-Out und der guten Kommunikation mit Vicko war alles super. Wir kommen sehr gern wieder!

Lage und Ausblick waren sehr schön. Etwas schade, das es nur mit Kunstrasen umgeben ist und der Zaun das Grundstück nicht vollständig umfasst! Das benachbarte Restaurant war sehr nett, gut fußgängig erreichbar und aber nicht zu hören. Was uns gefehlt hat waren eigene Poolhandtücher, aber das ist jammern auf hohen Niveau. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt!

Our stay at Mireja's was fantastic, and we didn't want to leave! Mireja was so welcoming, and all the information before we arrived was very helpful to plan our trip, even video instructions of how to get to the location and local attractions. Very peaceful and private, with a view of Mireja's beautiful garden and the sea - bliss! We had plenty of everything we needed, even thoughtful touches like umbrellas and beach towels. Since we were travelling for a while, it was really useful to have use of a washing machine and drying space outside. It felt like home, and was put together thoughtfully. The location was perfect, quiet in the evening and only a short walk from beaches, grocery shops, cafes and restaurants, and the centre. We would stay again in a heartbeat if we are lucky enough to return to Hvar!

In a nutshell: if Antonio's place is available, just book it. This place is all about the views, which were amazing from each level. I've never been to such a well equipped Airbnb. The kitchen had all sorts of cutlery, pots and tupperware which made cooking and serving communal meals easy. Oil etc was provided and the welcome platter was perfect for our first night. The outdoor wood fired BBQ was great too, we used that twice during our stay. Simple things like having an ice machine made everything easy, with the outside fridge we barely had to go inside. All en suite bedrooms was also a great feature, with plenty of towels and amenities. Lots of super markets nearby, we found Kaufland the best for a big shop. Hire cars were a must for is, though we were able to get ubers to and from the villa. The road up is quite steep, and realistically not easily walkable, but that comes with the private view you get at the top which really is panoramic with sunshine from sun rise to sunset

Our stay was incredible! Beautiful villa. Incredibly clean and spacious. Amazing views and had everything we needed inside. Would highly recommended!

We had a fantastic week in the house. It is located in a peaceful remote location by the sea. The house is comfortable for 6 people, with all the amenities and a private beach deck to the sea. Mladen was very flexible with a late check in, and gave us lot of great tips for things to do around the area and in Split. Thanks Mladen!

Un grand merci à nos hôtes : disponibles y compris pour nous accueillir à 1H30 du matin en raison d'un retard d'avion, le tout avec un succulent plateau de charcuterie très bienvenu. Hotes réactifs pour répondre à toutes nos questions et très accommodants. Logement en parfait état avec de très bonnes prestations : aussi bien voir mieux que les photos. Tous les équipements sont à profusion. Pas de voisins ni de vis à vis : idéal pour la piscine FKK... Emplacement idéal pour toutes les visites avec beaucoup de choses à faire et voir dans un rayon d'une heure de route. N'allez pas dans les parcs nationaux (Krka et Plivitce), c'est un piège à touristes : 40 €/personne l'entrée pour randonner sur un chemin aménagé) qu'on ne peut pas quitter, interdiction de se baigner et foule...Si vous voulez voir de superbes gorges et vous baigner gratuitement dans de magnifiques vasques et cascades allez à Omis rivière Cétina de l'autre coté de Split Un excellement séjour pour nous à la villa storia

Amazing place! So peaceful in the mornings to just sit on terrace and drink coffee. Sauna was amazing and walkable to the sea! Restaurants nearby are also delicious - 4 mins drive. Thea was super responsive and very helpful. We loved staying there and can't wait to go back!

Antea's place was fantastic! We rented in late May and the weather was magnificent... each day between 60 to 73 degrees. We hated to leave!!! :( Villa Antea it is a 4 story house with multiple apartments located right on the bay. The road to get there was a bit narrow but once you are there you are transported to another world... There are NO bulidings of any kind within sight on the steep hillside across the bay. It is completely private. The apartment we had (#1) was beautifully appointed and furnished. The views of the bay are magnificent as are the stars at night because there is very little ambiant light at night. We had access to a very spacious garage. I do not go overboard often but I am in this case. I give Antea's place my highest rating!!!

We loved having a private patio and pool. We used the kitchen a lot and had a great time here. The hosts were super helpful and we responsive. I'd recommend having a rental car here as the road to get here is steep at times. The view was so wonderful and was a big reason we decided to stay here as well.

Wir waren als Mädelstruppe dort und wir können es wirklich nur empfehlen ☺️ Ana hat uns ganz lieb empfangen, war flexibel mit unserer Ankunftszeit, hat uns alles in Ruhe gezeigt und erklärt und sogar eine kleine Willkommensüberraschung vorbereitet 🥹 wenn wir ein Anliegen hatten, hat sie innerhalb weniger Minuten geantwortet Das Haus ist perfekt, wenn ihr nach einem Ort sucht zum Entspannen sucht, mit tollem Bergpanorama, beheizbarem Pool und Sauna ☺️ mit drei Schlafzimmern und zwei Bädern perfekt für große Gruppen. Man hat seine Ruhe und kann wirklich tollen Urlaub machen 🏖️

This place is beautiful. The view from the terrace is absolutely stunning. We saw the stars and heard owls at night. Has everything you need to make breakfast and do some basic cooking if you can be bothered, but there's lots of places to eat in the likes of Bol, with quite a few still open in the shoulder season. It is next to another kind of boutique hotel/airbnb thing but you're still afforded relative privacy from the terrace. Marijan gave us solid instructions on how to get there, but we still drove past the turn off so better to get there in daylight if you can. You will need a car. All in all such an amazing stay, the island of Brač has so much to offer, and this is a particularly idyllic spot. Thank you!

Robert's place is off the tourist trail but easy to find, thanks to clear instructions and Croatia's very dependable cellular connection. The apartment is basic, but comfortable. There's no TV, which was perfect for us. Literally on the shores of a quiet beach for a dip and a shower outdoors is an incredibly useful thing to have. Robert was very responsive to any queries that we had.

Die Unterkunft von Ilija war genau das was meine Freunde und ich gesucht hatten. Es war perfekt ausgestattet für einen erholsamen Urlaub für uns nach unseren Abschlussprüfungen! Wir wurden von den Gastgebern schnell und freundlich bei unserer Ankunft in die Villa eingewiesen und bekamen auch ein kleines Wilkommensgeschenk :D Bei fragen waren sie direkt erreichbar und auch konnten sie schnell zur Hand gehen wenn es ein kleines Problem gab oder ein bestimmter Wunsch von uns kam :) Insgesamt hatten meine Freunde und ich einen sehr guten Aufenthalt dort und würden die Villa jedem weiterempfehlen!

Wir haben den Urlaub sehr genossen. Eine ruhige Unterkunft in einem Dorf abseits vom Touristentrubel mitten in der Natur. Es sind mehrere zutrauliche Katzen da, von denen unsere Tochter begeistert war. Das Meer ist einige Minuten mit dem Auto entfernt. Und in wenigen Minuten ist man auch in der nächsten Stadt mit Supermarkt und Restaurants. Gastgeber sind sehr nett und sprechen gut Englisch.

Vi reiste med hele familien bestående av 6 voksne og 3 barn under 6 år i midten av april. Ble tatt i mot av Goran i sentrum av nærliggende landsby og guidet frem til villaen.(Ankom i taxi fra flyplassen snaue 20 min. kjøretur.) Goran viste oss hele eiendommen med sitt meget personlige preg og historie. Det er vanskelig å se på bildene hvor flott stedet er og hvilke kvaliteter beliggenheten har! Det er etter vår mening et sted som overrasker både med sin sjarm, eiendommens mangfoldighet og beliggenhet. Vi har gjennom årene leiet mange steder og sjelden har vi funnet noe som matcher dette. Kort reisetid til og fra flyplassen som i seg selv er en meget positiv opplevelse med lite stress! Omgivelsene på øya med variasjon i terreng og opplevelser. Kort vei til alt, også gå avstand til Torgir med mange gode restauranter. Medio april er tidlig på sesong og det meste av lokale barer og restauranter var stengt. MEN, med Gorans unike utekjøkken og grill er det en fryd å lage mat selv! Stor takk!

Beautiful villa tucked away in a peaceful village overlooking the sea with stunning views. A great place to unwind and relax. The villa is spacious, beautifully decorated and has everything you need, airconditioning in all the rooms, three good size bedrooms all with their own bathroom, access to Netflix, own driveway and garage, very large swimming pool and flyscreens on all the windows and doors. We felt right at home and didn't want to leave. The nearest supermarket is only a 10 minute drive (so you need a car) and its close to all the local attractions and 30 minutes from Split Airport. Would recommend visiting Primosten which is beautiful with a stunning beach and plenty of bars and restaurants, but not too crowded. The hosts were amazing and gave us loads of recommendations for places to visit and eat out. Would definitely come back!

Lidija's place offered us everything that we were looking for in our 2-weeks-summer-vacation. The house is only 20 meters away from a typical Croatian stone slab "beach" with ladders leading into the water. The beach is quiet and is mainly used by the local neighbours. Lidija provides parasols and sun loungers. The center of Rogoznica is about a 20-minute walk away (nice path along the water). There are restaurants, public beaches, supermarkets and the marina. The pool is great. Our son spent many afternoons and evenings in it. The apartment is well equipped and has everything you need. The air conditioning units in the bedrooms work very well. There is a small balcony off the kitchen and a large balcony with lounge furniture off the master bedroom. You have a sea view from both. Lidija was so friendly and helpful! A great host! We highly recommend this place to people who search for tranquility, but also enjoy being only a walk away from the amenities of a small vibrant village.
