Beach house vacation rentals in Plum Island, Newburyport

I recently spent three wonderful days at this beach house with my friends for a girls' trip, and despite the less-than-ideal weather, we had a fantastic time! The house was impeccably clean and well-maintained, which made us feel right at home from the moment we arrived. The location was absolutely perfect — just a stone's throw from the beach and close to some lovely nearby attractions. We enjoyed exploring the surrounding areas, which were charming and full of character. Even though we encountered some rain, the cozy atmosphere of the house provided the perfect setting for our bonding time. We made the most of it with games, movies, and laughter. I highly recommend this beach house for anyone looking to enjoy a getaway, no matter the weather. We can't wait to come back!

Oh my goodness. This place was a DREAM. Such a beautiful home with a view you can’t top. My husband and I stayed with our children and two friends for an east coast summer getaway and we could not have found a better place. Awesome setup, view, and Gaby could not have been more helpful. We would love to stay here again.

We stayed as an extended family of 6 adults, 3 kids and 1 small dog, for a family member's big birthday. Everyone had a wonderful time. The house is gorgeous. There were actually 5 bedrooms each with a queen bed, which is more than what was described, so that's fine. There was everything we needed, except maybe they ran out of dishwasher detergent, but that was easy for us to get on our own. We love that the property is so close to restaurants, seafood market, a music / event hall and arcade. The beach was sandy and just lovely. Jenn and Matt replied quickly whenever we had a question.

We spent the weekend here catching up with friends and couldn’t have asked for a better spot. The house was cozy and welcoming from the moment we arrived, with beautiful views all around. We’re so thankful we got to stay and make the most of it. There’s so much to do nearby, and it’s just a quick drive to Portsmouth, NH, which has so many great places to explore. Rachel also shared some fantastic recommendations that made our trip even better.

We had a fantastic vacation in this home that accommodated my family, including my elderly mom. She was able to enjoy the beauty of the ocean and beach whether she was inside or out. Precious times for all of us!

Great stay, near the beach on a quiet street. Loved the beach chairs, the beach trolley and all the beach accessories available to us. I recommend staying here, we still definitely be back !

Perfect hidden little gem in a quiet tucked away neighborhood of Marblehead. Visited this town a few times and this is the 2nd place we've stayed in. Both were great - in completely different neighborhoods. It was nice having our own parking space directly in front of the house. The house is pretty inside, bright and clean - very modern and updated. We loved having the TV's in both the LR and the BR. Not a thing I would change. It was nice having the private backyard for our dog - although she wasn't taking to the artificial turf for some reason! So we opted for walks around the lovely little neighborhood. Would definitely stay again! Hayley was a FAB host!

We had the best time at Nicks! Very clean. Basically a full kitchen and had two sleeping options. Beautifully decorated. Loved all the attention to detail and thoughtful extras. There were even games to play and extra cleaning basics to use. Great location. Loved the outdoor pool and proximity to beach, boardwalk, and restaurants. We’ve been coming to Hampton for decades and this was one of our favorite places to stay by far. I think this set up would be good for any family group or close friends, but wanted to highlight how ideal it was with two toddlers (since those great places for this age aren’t always easy to come by). Additionally, Nick was very friendly and helpful and easily reachable. Highly recommend this gem.

What can I say? They’ve thought of everything to make you feel welcome and right at home! Special snacks awaiting the kids with breakfast items already thought of! The indoor pool and hot tub were perfect for every day of our stay! The rooms were comfortable and felt right at home! Thank you for a perfect and memorable stay!

Amy was very responsive and communicative. The house was clean and maps took us right to the home. It was too early in the season to enjoy the pool but it was pristine and would have been great for hot summer weather. Amy was wonderful with trying to accomodate any requests and we liked the location from easy access to Salem and within a one hour drive to Boston!

Beautiful house in a lovely quiet neighborhood. Kitchen was amazing! Very walkable to Bearskin Neck and Old Garden Beach. We had a few little glitches the first night, but Rachel was very responsive and everything was perfect within 24 hours. Would absolutely be happy to stay there again. To future guests: Rockport is light on grocery stores, so even though most things are walkable, for groceries you might want a car.

We had a wonderful time celebrating the holidays here. The hosts decorated for the holidays and it was lovely! The home was clean and the furnishings were comfortable. The appliances including the washer/dryer were all very new. I definitely recommend this property!

We loved staying at Kim’s place for a girls’ long fall weekend. The place was clean and exactly what was described. Not huge but we loved that everyone had their own bed, plus a good sized bathroom and kitchen. TVs were connected to Roku which was convenient. As far as location, about a mile walk to Ogunquit downtown (the first .4 miles without a sidewalk). We made the walk down one day but mostly used Uber which was reliable and inexpensive (in October). Would stay again!

Shannon's getaway was perfect for us. We had everything we needed including extra beach towels and it was such a short walk to the beach and the boardwalk. It was very clean and well maintained. The area was quiet and from the porch we could see and hear all of the cool cars cruising around. Shannon was very responsive and gave easy instructions to find parking and getting into the place.

Our stay at Giuseppe’s home in Gloucester Ma, was worth the cost, the home was spotless, very cozy and quiet, we all loved everything the home had to offer. We will definitely recommend Giuseppe’s home to anyone we know that will be traveling to Gloucester. We couldn’t have asked for much more, I reached out to Giuseppe a couple different oceans he responded promptly and had an answer for me immediately. Thank you for making my wife and I and our friends feel comfortable and right at home. We will be in touch for our next trip out there.

Hands down the best Airbnb host I've ever had! From the moment I booked, communication was smooth, helpful, and friendly. The place was exactly as described, clean, comfortable, and full of thoughtful touches that made it feel like home, well-stocked with everything I could need . What really stood out was the host’s kindness and generosity. They went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect for my stay, It’s rare to find someone who puts so much love into hosting. You can truly tell they care about their guests having a great experience. I would 100% stay here again and recommend it to anyone looking for a stress-free and enjoyable stay. I can’t thank you enough for letting me stay in this beautiful location. I’ve been going through chemo treatment and trying to find beautiful places in between treatment to enjoy. This place was a fav. Which I sort of want to keep to myself. I didn’t have a lot of energy to do a lot but it was exactly what I needed. Parked my car and left it behind. Watched the tide, walked around a beautiful place with my dog. I couldn’t ask for more.

The house and location were amazing, as was the host. Hoping to stay there again next summer.

Harbor House is a great place, conveniently located near downtown, shops, restaurants, and bars are walkable, nice ocean view from the upstairs living room, its an excellent choice for your visit to Gloucester

The hosts were fast to respond and provided great recommendations. The cottage is quaint and cute, the location and view were unbeatable. The road is steps from the cottage, so expect to hear some traffic. I’m a light sleeper so that posed a bit of challenge for me (though not my husband and kids) - however there was a sound machine on sight to save the day (or should I say night). Enjoyed our stay!

Beautiful place just a one minute ride to the Rockport Golf Club where my daughter was getting married. We had plenty of room for all six of us. A nice big kitchen with a very large center island so we could share many meals and prepare food and platters for the wedding. The living room has a lovely gas fireplace and we had many cozy evenings there as we destressed from all the wedding festivities. We spent quite a lot of time outdoors, walking down to the ocean and sitting on the deck, watching the stars. October is a lovely time to visit Rockport. Less traffic, pretty autumn colors, no big crowds at restaurants so short wait for tables. If we needed to come back for another event, I would choose this home again. *for those with back issues- all of the beds were cozy but not supportive and very soft.

A fantastic experience. The house was very clean and a great place to relax. We vacationed with our young family and there was plenty to do at the house. The house is set up great with games, books, and supplies. The house and backyard are better than the pictures. I would book again. The beach is a little bit away, but it is a beautiful walk and a great beach. Tom was a great host.

My husband and I chose to stay at Lisa’s beach house for a quick visit to Boston to finish out our vacation week in Maine. The house was beautiful, clean, and spacious. The neighborhood felt very safe, and the house was just a short stroll down to the beach. Lisa was the best host I’ve ever worked with! She was so responsive and checked on us frequently and had great respect for our privacy. She also gave us great tips and recommendations for the area. The only thing I’d like to mention is that the beach house does have a connected guest house that also gets rented out, but they do have separate entrances/locked doors between them. I don’t recall seeing that mentioned anywhere in the description, so we were just surprised by it, but we had no issues during our short stay. We’d love to come back again and spend more time in Salisbury!
