The Laußnitzer Hütte is a small alpine hut belonging to the Laußnitzer organic farm for self-catering at the end of the western Nockberge at 1,836 m above sea level in absolutely untouched, 20 minutes' walk from the Laußnitzsee. Our rustic alpine hut made of solid wood includes a small kitchen with a wood-burning stove, a guest room with a fireplace and a bed for up to 9 people with a separate bathroom with shower and toilet. Room "Tiny Tenne" (+-15m²) in Lieser- Maltatal. Our mountain farmhouse is at an altitude of 1110m. Very centrally located between Katschberg & Lungau, Nockbergen, Gmünd, Seeboden & Millstättersee. Perfect as a stopover or to explore (Upper) Carinthia! We look forward to your visit! - Not suitable for tall/heavy people, we have nothing against tall/heavy people, but everything it is a bit more compact :) - Room not 100% finished yet, there are still a few sharp edges ;)

Franzosenstüberl am Katschberg

The Franzosenstüberl is a rustic old grain box and offers the highest living culture for two to four people on 40 m2 (two floors). On the ground floor there is a fully equipped kitchen, a small bathroom with shower and toilet, hairdryer and ample storage space, as well as a stereo system and Wi-Fi. The upper floor consists of living room, built-in double bed and single bed and a couch (a cot is also possible). A flat screen TV is available for long evenings.

This quaint retreat is not far from the Mölltal Glacier Railway and many excursion destinations for hiking, climbing, skiing/hiking, canoeing and much more.
