I recently had the pleasure of visiting this incredible destination, and it exceeded my expectations in every way. From the moment I arrived, I was enveloped in kindness, passion, and warmth. The staff's compassionate conversations and genuine welcomeness made me feel right at home. What struck me most was the serene environment, which reminded me that life is full of wonderful surprises. I left feeling refreshed and inspired, already looking forward to my next visit. The thoughtful gifts and delicious food were delightful touches, showcasing the attention to detail and care that goes into creating an unforgettable experience.

Meredit and Jonathan were great. Really beautiful house with I believe about 6 rooms available for rent. It is up on the bluff with a spectacular view of Playa Venao. Guest have access to a kitchen/dining area that is comfortable, clean and well equipped, including refrigerator, microwave, coffee maker, gas stove and all the standard crockery and cutlery. The veranda is amazing with spectacular views and a few hammocks and chairs. Basic workout equipment including dumbells to 25lbs and mats. Water is hot, Wi-Fi excellent, mattresses comfy and AC in rooms work great. Surfboards available for rent and the owner offers courses and a great resource for other activities and contacts in Venao. Situated right next to Venao Eco-Lodge and La Barca bar is just below on the beach. A short hiking trail on-site with nice waterfall in season and spectacular viewpoint. Spotted several monkeys and coatis! I loved my stay would return any day without hesitation.

Sehr schönes Haus, man fühlt sich wie im Paradies. Alles hat super funktioniert, der Check-Inn schnell und unkompliziert. Im Haus alles vorhanden was man als Familie braucht, sogar zwei Fahrräder. Vermieterin sehr freundlich und kommunikativ. Wir waren eine Woche da und haben uns gefühlt wie zu Hause, wären gerne länger geblieben. Vielen Dank! Wir kommen gerne wieder!

Tuvimos una estancia memorable para pasar fin de año en familia, es una casa de playa encantadora, amplio espacio, una piscina con una vista hermosa al mar, los paseos encantadora la playa son lo mejor y de frente si hace buen tiempo se puede visitar isla iguana, excelente, de seguro en algún momento volveríamos, la anfitriona muy atenta. Súper Relax para despejarse del estrés.

Surf Lodge is beautiful! Great views with quiet surroundings. Waterfall hike was right there with monkeys calling us in. Jonathan & Meredith are welcoming & can find the answers to most random questions. It felt like staying in a family home instead of the party hostels in town. They have a great shared kitchen with everything you need. Way cheaper than eating in town. Venao itself has a unique vibe. It’s more of a new settlement than an existing Panamanian town. Friendly people from around the world, ready to help you surf. If looking for a chill place to eat on the beach, I highly recommend La Barca. It’s a straight walk down from the porch to the water. Amazing food on the beach, served at a boat turned bar. Owner Josi takes pride in his creative & delicious concoctions of both food & cocktails. Definitely a must! Side note… If you are driving in this part of the country, driveways are nearly vertical but all part of the adventure! Enjoy the mangoes!

This is THE place. Wow. Where to begin… We searched all along the Pacific coast, Mexico to Chile, and Cocoloche stood out. It turned out even better than we could have anticipated. Julie is a spectacular host. Her connections in the community ensured we had great experiences fishing, diving, and surfing. The local baker’ bread stood out. Julie messaged in the morning that the fisher had tuna available: we had tuna tartar with afternoon cocktails and seared steaks on our plates for dinner. Julie is super attentive and responsive. The Cocoloche property is stunning. The casitas are well dispersed, and all have tremendous views as the property has 2700 of ocean view. There is wonderful snorkelling off the beach to the south and the tide pools to the north offer another way to enjoy the ocean. The kitchen is spacious and well equipped. The dining area is breezy and comfortable. Sun rises and sunsets, howler and white face monkeys visiting regularly, the ever-present array of birds and stunning stars at night ensure there is always something to wonder at.

The place was perfect, and although we only had brief interactions with Meredith, we felt immediately like family. I would highly recommend this location to anyone looking to visit Playa Venao!!

Spacious, comfortable, and perfectly located! This apartment in Venao was ideal for a relaxing stay. It had everything we needed, with plenty of room to spread out and enjoy. Just a short walk from the beach, highly recommended!

The surfing haven of Venao Beach is perfectly captured from the private balcony, where we witnessed spectacular Pacific Ocean sunsets painting the sky in vibrant colors each evening. The sound of rolling waves provided a soothing backdrop throughout our stay. The well-appointed accommodation features an incredibly comfortable king-size bed with premium linens, ensuring peaceful nights of rest after days filled with beach activities and surfing. The modern, fully-equipped kitchen was a highlight, allowing us to prepare fresh local seafood and tropical fruits while saving on dining costs. Having this cooking space was especially valuable given Playa Venao's relatively remote location. The hosts went above and beyond with their hospitality, providing insider tips on the best surf spots, tide times, and local attractions. They helped arrange surf lessons with reputable instructors
