Vacation rentals with beach access in Playa Negra

Really enjoyed Fran's beach property. It was beautiful inside and appreciated the easy excess to the beach. Also liked the secure parking. Fran provided great insight as to what was available in the area. Would definitely recommend her place.

Host was lovely and helped us when needed. A cute place to stay and very handy to have a contact for tuk tuk transportation and great Italian food when requested.

Great host Stephanie and Co- host Meri very responsive and flexible. Very clean units , we stayed in studio for a week and like it rebooked one bedroom few weeks later and we will go there again. Great location beautiful beach kind of private. There is close by restaurant Almond &Corals if you buy drinks or food you can use their beach sitting area,we found it useful if you needed beach chairs. Pool is deep and cold a little bit small but you don’t needed since the beach is very close and beautiful. We really enjoyed the birds in the morning while having coffee. The place is small and cute very modern kind of smart houses, furnished thoughtfully, just needed more specific instructions to use the entrance doors,for example to activate the locks you can’t wave to activated needed to be in touched the surface get the light to enter the codes opposite than what we have. That would be nice if they had flash light for nights and umbrellas for rainy days. We enjoyed our stay in Casa Camerlo

We cannot say enough about our stay! Paz was so helpful from the start, giving us a flexible check-in, giving us lots of recommendations, friendly conversation, answering any questions we had right away. The pictures/descriptions matched the room exactly. It was a beautiful, bright, open and airy space with cool AC. We could’ve stayed a week in the room because of the amount of space. A plus was the balcony for people watching while having a nice drink. Next time we’re in Puerto Viejo, we will be staying here again! Pura Vida Paz!

Absolutely beautiful place right next to the beach super clean. I highly recommend this for anybody there’s a market next-door and the beach is right there. The host could not be more welcoming. Amazing hosts. Amazing location. Walkable to the ocean 70 meters from the house. Restaurants just 5. Minutes drive.

I stayed at Manu’s jungle loft for 3 weeks and had a wonderful time. The space is comfortable and rustic, with wonderful views and a very comfortable bed. The beaches nearby are some of the best in the world, and it’s very easy to walk to nearby restaurants or grab a TukTuk any time. Manu and Lucas were kind and gracious hosts. I hope to stay again!

Honestly it’s exactly what is described. Location is great close enough to the beach to get there quickly- 4x4 definitely required but worth it. I made it in my crossover but high 4x4 ideal. I got photos of a howler monkey! I saw hummingbirds, agoutis, bananas and pineapples, not ripe yet but still beautiful. No air but honestly with the fan blowing right on my I slept like a baby… until the howlers anyways… still awesome. Advice for travelers book it- do not hesitate- plan to sleep in very little with a fan and you’ll do splendid. This is a legit jungle experience and worth every moment. My favorite stay by far in Costa Rica. Take drinking water WITH you (they told me but I didn’t listen so reiterating for folks like myself😂) and enjoy!!

Our family (kids 3, 5, and 13) had an amazing time at Casa Neen! Eric is an excellent host and helpful with everything we needed. He has staff that is also available for things like having a private chef, laundry and cleaning if necessary. The home is comfortable and beautiful. The walk to the beach is very short and safe. We loved this particular beach because it was quiet and natural. We also enjoyed driving 10 minutes away to Playa Cocles to rent surf boards. Anywhere we wanted to go was convenient and quick to get to. Highlights of our trip was the kayak tour with Eric at Iki Tours, chocolate plantation tour with Daniel, surfing at Playa Cocles, breakfast on the beach at Iriria (get the croissants!), dinner on the beach at Beach break bar (homemade tagliatelle was delicious!), and just swimming in the pool every afternoon. Can’t wait to return!

We only stopped over for the night, but would definitely stay here longer in the future. It's on a nice little property walking distance to the beach and town.

I want to share our experience for our 9 day stay. Coming into Limon there was an accident I had emailed our estimated time of arrival to our host But traffic was backed up, we were stuck in traffic for 4 hours. our host was super communicative and as we got closer he met us at the property about 5 hours late so glad for his help getibg us aclimated to the aurroundings. one day we had no gas to cook and I contacted the host and he had us fuel in 15 minutes. we saw monkeys and a sloth right outside of the back porch. very comfortable property but remember you are in a jungle setting. your doing to see bugs and mosquitoes. Well stocked kitchen utensils, good wifi, great ac, comfortable beds and we felt safe there. We would stay there again. thans for hosting the three of us.

Stayed here for 8 days, and loved the house. Pre trip I was worried about the lack of AC but the fans they provide made it bearable. House was very clean when we arrived and they also offered a free cleaning halfway through which was perfect for us. We spent majority of our time on the comfy couches on the patio & in the pool. Saw many agotti, toucans, and butterflies from our place and loved the greenery. Would definitely recommend renting a vehicle if staying here, the road leading up is pretty steep and rocky. The howler monkeys and bugs can tend to get loud at times, I brought ear plugs because I'm a light sleeper and it helped a lot. The managing team was very responsive and answered all questions within 40 min or so even at night. Place is beautiful and definitely one of the better homes in the area.

Hidden gem! You will have no regrets for booking this perfect house with a prime location on the Caribbean. Don’t think twice about it. Book it!

The place is incredible! We saw monkeys, a sloth, iguanas, agoutis, and macaws — this is my third time visiting Costa Rica and I had never been lucky enough to see so many animals in one place, all in their natural habitat. The beach is less than a 3-minute walk away. The people who manage the property are the kindest and always go out of their way to help. In my opinion, it's a beautiful place that gives you the full Caribbean experience.

The house design is very nice. The distribution of spaces is quite good, plenty of kitchen utensils, the place and exteriors are very quiet, parking availability is a little limited, and the vehicle is left outside the property but nothing happened, we went in 2 vehicles and initially we had no space for the second vehicle, however they solved it very well, very attentive to the arrival at the site. A/C only in 2 rooms, the A/C in the master bedroom did not cool down too much but kept a pleasant temperature.

We found this beautiful last-minute place and it was wonderful. The location is very good, it is very comfortable, equipped, beautiful and quiet. The response was always immediate and very kind. It's very safe, I'll definitely come back when I travel back to the Caribbean.

Great apt near the beach. About a 5 min drive to cocles and 10 to Puerto Viejo. Great apt for a couple and dog. Extra sofa bed and outdoor area were nice perks!

An excellent place to go as a couple; my girlfriend and I loved the apartment. It was a little difficult for us to get there, since neither she nor I had a phone signal to communicate that we had arrived. But following the directions you get there perfectly, it is literally a few steps from the access to Playa Chiquita, it has a very well-equipped kitchen, full bathroom, parking and showers for when you return from the beach. There are options nearby to eat, however we thought it best to go to Cocles or Puerto Viejo if you are looking for options. Great place and we'll definitely be back!

This airbnb is exactly as the pictures. It is absolutely beautiful and very spacious. Things to note is that only the lower bedrooms have AC. The upstairs living room was very nice! The house is private, but a lot further out from town so you’ll need transportation to and from as there are not many restaurants nearby. The host, Jorge was always very responsive and helpful. Overall we had such a great stay and can’t wait to be back.
