Rosemarie is the sweetest soul. She’s such a kind and welcoming presence. Very easy going and accommodating. All her recommendations are on point also! Her massage was the best massage I’ve ever had. She’s always studying to better herself and her healing capabilities. Very knowledgeable about how the body and mind are connected and how to release the tension. Came as a guest, left as a friend. Can’t wait to visit and see her again!

I work remote and took my work to the mountains. I stayed at this hotel for a whole month. The mountains are beautiful and amazing to wake up to every morning. The sunrises and star gazing on this mountain was phenomenal. The fruitful trees that the monkeys have to climb daily was so inspiring to watch how God provides to all species. The sounds of the birds singing in the jungle was a great experience for my morning coffee. And last but not least the amazing staff here! I am blessed to have found this wonderful place to stay for a month! The food was amazing, and the service was excellent. Staff responded timely and very helpful. Great WiFi connectivity, electricity worked well, plenty of hot water. You will need a 4x4 vehicle or a taxi that provides it. Beaches are nearby and the culture was great to visit and explore. I see why this area specifically is the blue zone. Pura vida lives in this mountain top. Definitely recommend. Can’t wait to visit again. Glamping!!

Rose is an absolute joy to be around! I felt completely at home and never once felt like I was in her way. She felt like family immediately! The private bedroom and bathroom are perfect for your own place to sleep and get ready for your days without feeling in the way. She is very generous with her space: fridge, kitchen supplies, etc. I received a massage from her and it was amazing! She is so warm, welcoming and loving. I would recommend having some kind of transportation as it is about a 50 minute walk to the beach. You can rent an atv, scooter or car in town. The pool is very peaceful and clean. The only downside is the construction happening right now. This shouldn’t be too much longer but I found myself having to wear headphones during the day if I were at home.

Un lugar muy pacífico agradable y perfecto para conectar con uno mismo. Nos recibieron de una manera muy cálida y todos estuvieron muy atentos a ayudarnos Es un lugar al que espero volver. Hay que tomar en cuenta que para vehículos de motor pequeño es una ruta complicada ( si está en época lluviosa) Pero sin duda los lugares mágicos tienen caminos difíciles para poder llegar a ellos ✨

Totally enjoyed staying here---lovely staff, comfortable and well equipped space, breakfast was a GREAT quality compared to many "included" in other places in my experience! Berny and Lily at the info desk at the sister hotel two doors down (Locanda I think it was called) were super helpful and showed classic Costa Rican friendliness, and integrity with the info about transports and activities in the zone. I would 100% recommend.

We had a perfect time here. The Hosts are super friendly, caring and communicative. There was at any time someone present for anykind of questions. Lieke organised a wonderful boattrip for us. Staff was very friendly and attentive too. Kids loved the pool and the beach. The mexican bungalow was more spacious than it appeared on the pictures. Food in the evening was just delicious (seafood soup, seafood pasta, sushi). We highly recommend staying here, especially for families!

Mon mari et moi avions besoin de repos et nous l’avons trouvé au Innerlight Yoga lodge. L’emplacement est exceptionnel! Playa Sámara est située dans une baie, ce qui fait que la baignade est beaucoup plus paisible. La journée débutait avec un cours de yoga donné par Federica, suivi d’un petit déjeuner fait maison. Tout était excellent. Et que dire de la piscine dans la quelle on se rafraîchissait en fin de journée ! Federica est une professeure de yoga et une hôte exceptionnelle. Elle s’occupe de cet endroit magnifique avec son mari Roberto. Nous y retournerons, c’est certain!

Gorgeous place with very well thought out details. Can’t say enough about all of the niceties and amenities included. The pool was wonderful! But the very best part was the location! Walkable to everything, including all our favorite restaurants, the beach, basically anything you are looking to do in Guiones. You cannot beat this location!

Casa Santosha is a special place … an oasis of green 50 metres from the ocean on a quiet Street … Sandra the owner is a great communicator and even when the Air bnb app was not working properly she got back to me. Antonia the caretaker is one of the kindest person you will ever meet and she is always willing to Assist. I stay here for a month. October 7-November 7/21. Dousing this time I got very sick with a lung 🫁 infection. When I knew I needed a doctor and a hospital Sandra acted so quickly and the doctor came and airlifted me to San Jose. sandra checked on me frequently during my 8 days there. Antonia cleaned my place and did my laundry 🧺… I came back to a clean house and got to enjoy the kindest and hospitality at this hidden gem 💎 thanks Sandra and Antonia 🎉🎉🎉🙏🙏🙏

We had an amazing stay at inner-light yoga and left feeling rejuvenated physically, mentally, and spirituality. The pool in the backyard as well as the yoga studio and landscaping throughout the property, were beautiful. We thoroughly enjoyed Federica’s 7am yoga, followed by a healthy and delicious breakfast at 8am made by her husband! Great location with plenty of restaurants and the beach within walking distance. Highly recommend the reiki and massage provided on the property. Would gladly come back again and recommend it to other guests looking for a relaxing stay.

Lovely property right on the beach. Breakfast and use of the pool at their sister property a couple doors down was a huge plus. Staff was responsive and very helpful. Beach was safe, enjoyable and overall a great place for families.

Surrounded by lush jungle greenery and just minutes from the beach, it feels like a hidden gem where nature and comfort coexist perfectly. The container-based architecture is not only unique and stylish, but it also blends beautifully with the environment—modern, minimal, and eco-conscious. Waking up to the sounds of the jungle, sipping coffee on the deck, and walking to the waves in the morning made this stay unforgettable. The entire vibe is peaceful, grounding, and inspiring. Every corner feels thoughtfully designed and deeply connected to nature. Can’t wait to come back—thank you for creating this slice of paradise!

L'hôte à pas répondu à nos questions quand nous cherchions pour Le site. Donc on a du chercher longtemps sans son support. Par contre membres du personnel très accomodants. Très beau bien situé près d'une superbe plage. Excellent déjeuner avec un excellent service.

Super cool place a quick walk everywhere but very quiet and private. I was there with my kids and Hotel Macao seemed to attract like minded travelers- family minded and relaxed. The beach is phenomenal. The folks who work there were full of aloha and care- thanks Sophie- and I would highly recommend as a humble and comfortable place to get acclimated to Sámara. We had a little issue with the hot water and they went above and beyond to fix it asap. Cheers and gracias, hope to come back soon.

Dione's room is separated from her house by a short walkway and porch where we ate breakfast and chatted each morning. She makes something different each day. The private room included a mini frig, excellent air conditioning and was otherwise well-appointed. I loved the thick towels! We really enjoyed the birds in the trees around the house, hearing the howler monkeys and seeing white-faced monkeys at a distance. We appreciated Dione's tips on local experience gems and, of course, the fine sand of beautiful Playa Carrillo. We strongly recommend this host and AirBnB!

My time at Joes place was enjoyable, the place is cozy and the people taking care of the place are lovely. Beach, cafes and great restaurants are all within few minutes walking. I would recommend!

This was a beautiful location with an even more beautiful view! Ivan was such an amazing host with a wonderful family and restaurant. We couldn’t have imagined a better stay. And the meals were out of this world! Delicious! We hope to return here one day and definitely recommend it to anyone who’s looking for a peaceful, beautiful, and amazing space. 10/10
