We had a lovely stay at Monique’s chalet, she was very friendly and even tho our French is rather poor we muddled through with a nice feeling about the whole stay. We would stay at Monique’s again.

We had a great time at the Villa du Bois. We were greeted by the owners Valerie and Philippe. They had prepared a lot of little touches for us that we appreciated (pool towels, small soaps, various surprises in the fridge and welcome gifts. The decor is perfect, very comfortable bedding and garden chairs. Recommended.

Excellent stay. The house is very well located whether in the city or on the island. And the bike paths are accessible and shops can even be reached on foot. We had beautiful weather. The house is very functional with a beautiful living room and we slept extremely well. Please note that at night you have zero noise: a real pleasure.

Nice house about 200 m from the beach

Honestly, this was one of our best AirBnB experiences. "Eugene" is genuinely kind and welcoming and clearly enjoys hosting people. There was a wonderful gift basket upon our arrival, she provided a thorough walk-through of the space and, when asked, provided us with beach mats and an umbrella for the duration of our stay. She provided on point and thoughtful recommendations; every restaurant suggestion we tried was incredible. The location was perfect, both close to the Gros Jonc beach and a short trek into the town of Le Bois Plage. Ile de Re is paradise and Eugene's home is the perfect place to experience all the island has to offer. We plan to be back. Thank you!
