Vacation rentals with a patio in Pitahaya, San José

This is one of those gems that if happen to be fortunate enough to find, jump on it right away!! Caveat… As you are approaching the place the neighborhood may seem kinda scary but once you get to the location you’ll be incredibly surprised at the pace and tranquility that you’ll have. The view from the unit is absolutely breathtaking. Just the view of the city is worth the price you pay to stay there. Everything inside the condo is pristine! Never saw any bugs or worse (roaches) . I will definitely base my next trip to Costa Rica 🇨🇷 based off the availability of this place. Yes, it is that good !

The accommodation is exactly as advertised. I arrived very late at night on a night flight and check-in was a breeze. There are always staff available and they are very friendly. The building is stunning with its architecture. The themed rooms are on the same floor as the apartment, so whenever you pass by to go out or come back, you can visit them, as long as they are not booked. They are amazing and very photogenic. The apartment is very cozy and has an incredible view of the city. I had to see a rainy afternoon where the Universal Tower building (where the Microsoft offices are) was lost in the clouds. On the day of my departure, we woke up very early in the morning since my flight was very early in the morning and San José said goodbye to me with a postcard sunrise. 🥹 🌄 It was my first time in Costa Rica and I hope to visit again with more time and better planning. In short, I highly recommend this place. 💯 👌🏼

Perfect place and location. Very walkable area with a ton of options for food, drinks and arts. Gabriel is a great and responsive host. His suggestions was on point. Would definitely stay again.

My wife and I had a wonderful stay! The apartment was exactly as described—actually, even better than expected! What the photos don’t show is that there are two balconies, including one directly off the main bedroom, which was a lovely surprise. The space was clean and well-equipped. The fridge and other amenities were spot on, and the couch and chairs were comfortable. There’s a washer and dryer inside. Comes with a floor fan . Come to think of it, didn’t get hot at all in the apartment. Although we didn’t get a chance to fully explore the neighborhood, we noticed several nice cafes and restaurants within walking distance and The location felt safe. The hosts were very communicative throughout the stay and even arranged for us to check in early, which was a big help. The check-in process itself was seamless, and the front desk staff were welcoming and kind. Overall, it was a great stay. We’d definitely book again the next time we’re in

Clean and comfortable! I had to book this Airbnb very last minute so I truly appreciate the quick response I received. The house was very clean and the neighborhood felt safe.

The place is small, but cozy, the views are beautiful. It has plenty of facilities, although it does not have a kitchen per se, it has many appliances with which you can cook something if you want. The only thing is that those days they were working on the place and personally I did feel uncomfortable at times. But after that, it's a very nice place and Kim is a super host, she was always answering my questions and giving us directions

Daniela was a very responsive host and the place had everything we needed right across the street from the mall and just a little over a mile to the airport

Veronica's studio is nice and comfortable, I recommend it. Veronica is friendly and very quick to respond at all times.

Great area clear instructions, bed was very comfortable and the amenities are great, coffee was delicious. It was a great place to stay after a long flight in from LAX! Didn’t stay long because we only needed it for the night before our journey to jaco but so glad we chose the place for this purpose!

Federico’s place is airy, light and comfortable. It has a wonderful spacious back patio where we spent time talking and lingering over meals. And Federico was very supportive and responsive

Beautiful space, the second you walk in you feel right at home. It has such a cozy vibe to it and very thoughtfully decorated. The house has an older charm but modern touches like kitchen and bathroom. It’s the perfect space for a solo traveller or couple. You can conveniently park right outside the house which is rare for San Jose. If silence is your top priority however this space may not be for you as it’s located directly on a main road so keep in mind as traffic in San Jose is petty heavy at times.

The apartment is the same as in the photos, very clean, tidy and aesthetic. David was always attentive and gave helpful instructions. The condominium has many facilities, in addition to the plaza, which is very complete. I loved the place.

The apartment is beautifully decorated, well appointed, very very clean and in a vibrant and walkable neighborhood. The host is kind and responds quickly.

Lymon is beyond exceptional as a Host and as an individual. Every time I sent a message to Lymon he responded quickly. The building is very secure with a guard at the front gate. Location is central and was just what I needed. I had just underwent major surgery. The second day at his flat I realized I needed support and help. I messaged Lymon via Airbnb - my crisis number at the time and within 30 minutes someone was at my door to help me! Edith, my angel, is so awesome! She truly is a gem; she helped me with everything in the condo and came by twice a day to make sure I was ok. I did pay her; that’s just normal. I am so very grateful and privileged to have met these 2 special souls. If you have any questions let me know!
