Step out the back door and you are on the South Downs, with an amazing selection of stunning footpaths to choose from. The perfect home base for hikers and dog walkers.

This historic, beautiful house sits right on the river Ouse with amazing views out all the windows. With 2 gardens for your use, the main one is right on the riverbank. The site is home to the last bottle shaped kiln in the country, built around 1817. This flat is in the loft space and is professionally clean before each guest. With nearby walking routes, the beautiful town of Lewes close as well as Brighton a short drive away. There are also at least 14 castles with about an hours drive!

Gorgeous self contained cabin on houseship!

The Proud Mary is my huge Ex-HMRC houseship. She cruised the seas watching for pirates from 1965-1980. Now happily retired & my project home where I have two private self contained cabins for Airbnb. Located on the 14 bus route which takes you directly into Brighton.The bus stops are literally right outside and run every 15 minutes. 2 miles from Newhaven ferry port.

Beautiful barn on the South Downs Way

Beautiful barn, perfect for walkers, also great as a comfortable and spacious base for exploring the local countryside. Local cultural attractions include Glyndebourne, Drusilla's Park, South Downs Way. This spacious artist's home is located right on the South Downs Way, and it is only about an hour and a half walk to the coast at Exceat. There is a tree house for kids, a couple of swing seats for chilling out on, and the Cuckmere runs through the bottom of the garden.

There's walking access to the South Downs Way and many other fantastic country walks. We're a short drive from Glyndebourne, Alfriston, Charleston Farmhouse and Brighton as well as many other East Sussex treasures.
