House vacation rentals in Pico da Pedra

This was a spectacular location!! It is even more beautiful and breathtaking than the pictures. The host is a great communicator and helped to make our stay even more special and we felt right at home!! This is a one in a lifetime location and it cannot be missed!!

A 10 out of 10, the accommodation is really nice, cozy, Susana and Jorge are wonderful people, a real pleasure to have met them, super attentive, they recommended many places to visit, eat, they made sure that everything was to our liking, the truth is we hope to return to the island, which is beautiful and obviously will be our first option where to stay, grateful to them and to the house, we fell in love 😍

We stayed here for 10 days with our toddler and everything was perfect. The location is great and makes the entire island very accessible within max one hour drive. Grocery stores and amenities are very close by. There was private parking in the driveway for us and the entire place was so well thought out...nothing was missing. Communication and instructions were simple and clear. The location, home and backyard are perfect - especially for families.

Vera’s place was incredible! They were super responsive, gave great reviews and even left us a bottle of wine, chocolates and a guidebook for our stay! The home is beautiful and being able to relax by the pool or lounge space outside before heading for dinner was the cherry on top! Would 100% recommend staying here

We had a wonderful stay at Jose's. We were two families, four young kids and it was the perfect setup for us. We liked the location, as it wasn't downtown so it was quiet and had a good backyard for the kids, a pool, and a beautiful view! It was also easy to get to other parts of the island from. The house was very comfortable and had everything we needed to cook in. After being at the house for 5 days, a crew came and changed the linens and cleaned the house! We mostly communicated with Tomas, who checked us in and Joana. Both were lovely and very helpful! They were also extremely accommodating with check in/check-out! We were able to check in early which was critical for the kids after a redeye and they let us check out later than the normal check-out time. We highly recommend this house for future guest!

This place is just the best. Our whole family loved the house and our kids loved feeding the animals. Sandra was super helpful and patient with our crazy family.

The property is gorgeous and the natural ocean pool is incredible!! Perfect place to stay on the island for a relaxing vacation. We had a beautiful stay here.

Paulo was an amazing host. The property is beautiful and clearly handled with love and care. The views are stunning. From one side there is an ocean view and the other, a countryside view. Everything was clean and we had ample supplies. The hot tub was a nice bonus! Parking was across the street and very easy. Paulo is super responsive. I got sick and couldn’t find a pharmacy open as it was Sunday. He was at our door within 20 mins with a few options of medicine. I took it and was feeling better within 30 mins. The island was beautiful and if we return, we will definitely be staying with Paulo!

Sara’s house was a great place to stay while visiting Sao Miguel. The house was clean, well stocked, private, peaceful, and situated above the town of Maia with beautiful views down the coastline and great sunsets! Our kids loved the pool which was great to return to after doing day trips. The beds were comfy which was a plus after lots of adventuring. It was within easy driving distance of many of the key sights. Sara is a great communicator, provides lots of helpful info, and responsive to any questions. We would recommend this place to anyone while visiting the Azores!

Manuel and his son Vasco welcomed us the day of our arrival. Vasco was in contact before we arrived and had ensured that we were well informed about how to get there, if we were okay with a self-check in, what we might like to see and do during our stay. The house was immaculately clean, with all that you might need for your stay, from condiments in the press, to a welcome basket of milk, bread and goodies, to shower and beach towels and toiletries. While you hear every plane landing and taking off this mostly happens during the day, you also hear the birds in the morning and evening. The house is situated at the edge of the city and you are a short walk into the countryside. There's a stunning cliff walk 20mins from the house where you can either walk to the village at the of the base of the cliff or along the top. Lynda's coffee shop is a minutes walk away and we loved having our coffee in the morning sitting outside looking out to sea. You'll need a car to explore all the island.

Beautiful view, enjoyed my coffee on the balcony in the mornings overlooking the ocean. Would not suggest this accommodation if someone in your party has difficulties with stairs. Was perfect for the 4 of us!

Beautiful base for Sao Miguel We loved Erico‘s place which was comfortable, beautifully decorated and charming. It also was very well equipped with dishes, spices, generous towels und great beds. Parking on the steep street is a bit daunting to start with and there are barking dogs just like everywhere else on the island that break up the serenity but the place is a real haven and between walking to the beach and driving to the different corners of the island it’s in a great place too. Érico was a responsive generous host, from the welcome bread and milk to restaurant recommendations , thank you Erico, we would definitely come again

What an incredible stay! São Miguel is a fantastic location — stunning nature, amazing views, and so much to explore. The accommodation had everything we needed and more; it was clean, comfortable, and felt like home. Our host was absolutely wonderful — super kind, helpful, and always available, even giving us great restaurant recommendations (which turned out to be some of the best meals we've had!). Thank you for making our trip so memorable. We hope to come back soon!

Aleksandra is an amazong host. she genuinely cares about jer guests ' experience. Before amd during the trip she was excellent woth providing quock replies/communication for recommendations, details about the osland/loacation, tour companies, etc. When we had a minor issue it was quickly resolved. Sparkling clean, charming, and truly a hone a way from hone. I enjoyed the garden immensely. She greets her guests in person with warm hospitality

We had a really nice stay here. The location is great to explore the island and the private garden and path to the sea was just fantastic.

We had a wonderful stay! The location is just perfect – quietly located with a fantastic view of the sea, which ensures a relaxed atmosphere. The amenities are great, there is really everything you need to feel at home. The modern decor also contributes to the pleasant ambiance. We would like to highlight the perfect communication with the host – very friendly and always helpful. Overall, a great place that we definitely recommend and where we will gladly come back!

The location was great. A short drive to anywhere in the city. The house was lovely and private and Claudia was so nice and helpful all the time. We really recommend this place

Fantastic "Villa Mirante" accommodation. The interior spaces are perfectly designed with quality finishes. Great attention to detail. Large garden and solarium in private roof. Maximum privacy. If you are looking for a minimalist-style house, with large windows, that makes you feel in touch with the outside nature, this is the place.

What a great unit in Ribera Grande! The kitchen was well equipped, and they have two balconies with amazing ocean views. We really liked the location, so close to restaurants, grocery store, and the beach. We really hope to come back, loved Sao Miguel Island! Amazing people, the food was spectacular and this unit has easy access to so many sites on the island. Thank you Helena, you made us feel very welcome!!

Excellent stay at a gorgeous Air BnB. Pool was heated. Outdoor patio spaces were amazing. Great view to the ocean. Lots of nice touches with art, fully equipped with shampoo, conditioner and body wash. Kitchen had all the utensils and they had lots of things for babies and toddlers like stair guards, high chairs and pack and play. Walkable to waterfront and town square.

A nice and spacious apartment with good beds, two spacious and tidy bathrooms and sparkling clean. From Ribeira Grande, the entire island can be visited by car, the town itself is very quiet in the period April/May. The car can be on the premises and the contact with the host is pleasant. Absolutely recommended when visiting the Azores.

Beautiful house and good location to visit the rest of the Island. Just to note that the beds are extra firm if that's your preference. Enjoyed our stay very much.

Absolutely amazing place to stay, would recommend to anyone looking to stay on São Miguel! Property backs onto a lovely hillside with amazing views of the ocean to the other side. Only a short 10min walk to a nice beach with a restaurant. Great location if you’ve rented a car and plan on visiting all sides of the island. If you’re planning on using the washing machine - give yourself ample time as the climate was very humid and overcast when we visited (May), took days for items to fully dry! Thanks for the great stay!
