Monthly Rentals in Pianico

We had communication with Maria before we left the UK which Maria answered promptly. You need a car for the area. We flew into Milan (Bergamo) which is about 45 mins (without traffic) to the apartment. Google maps found the house fine. Maria & family live on the bottom floor of the apartment, so met us when we arrived. Our Italian is non existent so had to use Google Translate when talking to Maria, which was fine. Maria can speak some English, but Google Translate helped. Apartment is 5 mins walk to the lake. A ferry runs from the town to Isolo Island which is worth a visit. Hire bikes when there. Apartment gardens lovely to sit in on hot days, no problems with apartment at all. Maria helped us out when we thought we left my wallet in a car park, so thanks to Maria for that. Lovely area and much quieter that lake Como or Garda. Good restaurants about a 5 min drive away and big shops about 20 min drive. Parked car a couple of mins from apartment, but no issues. Good holiday!

We had a pleasant long term stay. Lovely comfortable unit. Great location. Close to lake Iseo & Endine. Also close to 2 ski slopes & many hiking trails.

The apartment is on the second floor of an aged traditional building. It is small, of course, but pretty well organised. The bedroom is rather cramped but offers a view over the water and mountains, wonderful in early dawn light. Both the kitchen area and the bathroom have French doors that open above the street and let you view life below on the cobbled streets of a working tourist town. The hosts are actively addressing some aspects of maintenance that were overdue under the previous ownership, but these changes are occurring with no inconvenience to guests. This apartment is suitable for a diverse clientele, from honeymooners to grandparents, both short and longer term. It is very close to the centre of Lovere, has myriad services close by including simple transport links to other towns , by both road and lake ferry.

Lovely house and garden and a great base for exploring this superb area of Italy. So much to do and it’s beautiful.. Valentina’s dog Gingko is very smart! Valentina could not have been a better host. Highly recommend staying here.
